Moderate Islam: A Western Myth

Westerners who defend Islam insist that it has a moderate side, and that others who claim it to be radical are intolerant, racist and Islamophobic. However, Muslim clerics call out these distinctions being made about Islam, to be a lie. In a sermon dedicated to explaining these dichotomies—radical vs moderate Islam, Sheikh Yunus Kathradas details various ways in which Islam has been incorrectly split into two groups.

The Other Vaccines

Post by Shy Ted

Not a Convid post! I never studied or practised child and adolescent mental health but used to watch from afar as colleagues tortured themselves over diagnoses, causes, contributing factors and such as to why little Johnny or Suzie was a bit weird or just an a***hole. They were very big on societal causes, broken homes, discrimination and every other buzzword and very, very small on problems during pregnancy, parenting, head injuries and such. Then they would agonise some more about what to do before Johnny and Suzie didn’t come to appointments.

The March Against War

It would be difficult to imagine a left-wing political party (with all its progressive goals) and a right-wing party (focussed on freedom and individual rights) teaming up together to fight on a common issue. Yet, this is what has happened in the United States.

Genocidal Ted

Post by Shy Ted

It’s tragic to watch Aboriginal kids drop out of school due to poor decision making by the elites. In a fondly remembered community the school had done a sterling job getting kids to school and keeping them there at a rate close to 100%. The reality is few were achieving age-appropriate grades while most struggled with simple maths and small words, the clear result of maternal behaviour in pregnancy but there were lots of sports and household programs which they loved.

The Media Is Deceiving You

Udo Ulfkotte was an international journalist for many years. During the period of his reporting for the German main daily newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), he gained first-hand knowledge of what really took place between various agencies and journalists. He explained how journalists were bribed to write articles free of truth, facts, and with a decidedly pro-Western, pro-NATO bent or, in other words, propaganda.

The Wonders

Post by Shy Ted

Was the name we’d give to, usually, new nursing graduates who had applied for and been appointed to their first positions in remote Aboriginal communities. Really we called them the “one dayers”  because that’s how long some of them lasted but we shortened it to “the wonders”.

Covid Response Was About Politics Not Health

What the planet really needs is yet another syndicate of jet-setting A-listers making decisions about how we, the ignorant commoners, should live our lives. Although this took place a few months ago, it provides us with another example of how the ruling elite really regard the rest of the world. The World Health Summit (WHS) — which was set up in 2009 as an international forum for global health — teamed up with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to hold their first joint World Health Summit in October 2022, in Berlin, Germany.

ATSIC and Me

Post by Shy Ted

I had visited a number of remote Aboriginal communities for 1-3 days at a time so I was getting a feel for things but this was my first live-in community, a 2 year contract and it had a far better feel than I had experienced thus far. 100% school attendance (up to the age of 13), high enrolment in CDEP (Community Development Employment Projects program) and even a small pub with little in the way of trouble. And then the additional duties/expectations began.
