Climate Science Facts

This section presents information from various sources on what the Science – the Real Science –  says on this subject.

It is best to listen to what the experts  (those who objectively study the various phenomena and changes) have to say on the life and fate of Planet Earth.

Don’t buy the latest climate-change alarmism
    Bjorn Lomborg

This matters because globally, many more people die from cold than from heat. A new study in the highly respected journal Lancet shows that about half a million people die from heat, but 4.5 million people die from cold.

As temperatures have increased over the past two decades, that has caused an extra 116,000 heat deaths each year. This, of course, fits the narrative and is what we have heard over and again. But it turns out that because global warming has also reduced cold waves, we now see 283,000 fewer cold deaths.

You don’t hear this, but so far climate change saves 166,000 lives each year.

U.N. climate panel confronts implausibly hot forecasts of future warming

Many of the world’s leading models are now projecting warming rates that most scientists, including the modelmakers themselves, believe are implausibly fast. In advance of the U.N. report, scientists have scrambled to understand what went wrong and how to turn the models, which in other respects are more powerful and trustworthy than their predecessors, into useful guidance for policymakers.

For now, policymakers and other researchers need to avoid putting too much stock in the unconstrained extreme warming the latest models predict, says Claudia Tebaldi, a climate scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and one of the leaders of CMIP’s climate projections.

Nothing the press or politicians say about climate has anything to do climate. It is a smoke screen masking other agendas.

Media peddling a new ‘climate change’ lie

It is amazing news that there has never been a famine caused by climate change until now.

Anyone who still has a brain knows that droughts and famines throughout history have occurred naturally and cyclically. They are caused by a lack of rain. The Earth’s climate has always been subject to change. How does Muir think so much of the Earth is covered by desert if it weren’t for long droughts?

Science Has Been Corrupted With Climate Groupthink

High (and low) temperature records are nothing new. But it is important to look at the past, because data show us that more high-temperature records were set during the first half of the twentieth century than during the past 50 years. Even the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) confirms this.

But climate activists immediately pointed to “climate change” as the cause, even though this week would have become a record weather event with or without recent modest warming. It is said that “climate change,” aka global warming, added about 2 degrees Fahrenheit over the past century, but the temperature of the past week far exceeded that.

The Climate Change Social Engineering Project

The recent farce of the UN climate change summit in Glasgow (COP26) has shown that no other major industrial nations except Europe and the United States are serious about eliminating greenhouse gases by 2050. While useful idiots like Joe Biden and John Kerry tout wind, solar power, and electric cars, China and India will be cleaning our clocks in the world marketplace because our products will be overpriced and our population will be wallowing in the misery of unemployment and inflation. It is no secret that those nations pushed hard to eliminate language about phasing out carbon-based industries quickly from the language of the final COP26 report while the Biden administration is doubling down on crippling our industries.

Climate Change Is Not a Crisis

It is, no doubt, quite convenient for politicians to treat every hurricane, tornado, and flood as an apocalyptic sign from Gaea—and then blame political apostates for the existence of nature.

But it’s an irrational way to think about the world, because our situation is, in most ways—including our ability to adapt to the vagaries of climate—quantifiably better than before on nearly every front.

This reality is probably difficult for a generation subjected to decades of fearmongering to accept, but climate anomalies are nothing new.

Vladimir Putin criticises Greta Thunberg’s UN speech on climate change

Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has criticised Greta Thunberg’s speech about climate change.

Speaking at an energy conference in Moscow, Mr Putin said: “Nobody explained to Greta that the modern world is complicated and complex.”

Ms Thunberg, 16, gave a speech at the United Nations in New York in September as millions of people joined climate strike protests worldwide.

Western Australia recorded the same temperature this week in 1906. Victoria recorded a higher temperature earlier in January 1906. Queensland and New South Wales recorded much hotter temperatures in 1889 and 1877

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology made all of these temperature records disappear by hiding temperature data before 1910.

Almost all of the claimed climate records the press keeps touting were created by erasing the past – when weather was at least as extreme as it is now.

The Strategic Threat from Net-zero Emissions

A relentless, targeted campaign of desinformatsiya – systematic reputational destruction or “unpersoning” by Communist front groups posing as environmental campaign entities but in reality fostered, funded and too often founded by Moscow and Beijing – has all but silenced thousands of skeptical climate researchers who had formerly been able to debate the climate question in the sunlight of the agora, and has deterred tens of thousands more who would have spoken out in their support but dare not do so.
