    Top o’ the morning to all.

    The NT coronial inquest into the death of Mr Walker has all the hallmarks of a show trial. The Coroner, seeking her moment in the sun (aka lots of publicity) seems to want it to become a Royal Commission into dozens of issues that have nothing to do with her job.

    The latest development, reminiscent of what happened over and over again to Trump, is that the police hierarchy have announced that they are not going to prosecute Rolfe for perjury in relation to another matter. But, they thought long and hard about it. In other words, just another smear.

    They really are determined to stitch him up.

    Stocks close higher, snap three-week slump

    All three major averages closed higher Friday, notching gains in the holiday-shortened week and snapping a three-week slump. The Dow rose 2.8% on the week, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq gained 3.8% and 4.2%, respectively.

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 377.19 points, or about 1.19% to 32,151.71. The S&P 500 jumped 1.53% to 4.067.36 and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.11% to 12,112.31.

    Before his address to the nation, the King was heard on a hot mic recalling the loss of his mother to Ms Truss during their audience at Buckingham Palace.

    “The moment I’ve been dreading, as I know a lot of people have,” King Charles was heard saying to the prime minister as they met in the palace’s audience room.

    “It has been so touching this afternoon when we arrived, all those people who had come to give their condolences … and flowers,” he added.

    kaysee, I too saw this. The best explanation seems to be within the account itself. Though I don’t understand twatter it’s a private account and he makes all sorts of predictions that can’t be seen by Joe Average and then allows the rare ones that are true to be seen. Hence it seems like a prediction but is really just one of those predictive magic tricks.
    OTOH there are lots of folks in conspiracy land saying there’s a lot in the numerology eg ER11 died 1776 days after the first QAnon posting – 1776 American Independence. Also 911 days since WHO announce the Convid pandemic – 9/11 WTC.
    Who knows.
    Someone did a Q drop with the word “Queen” as the search. It starts off “Who is the real Queen of England?” (or similar), then goes into the game of chess, including the King! and the complexities of the various moves. All too cryptic for me but considering the Q posts are several years old they’re awfully predictive of things that have happened, if the interpretations are correct.
    PS is it too early for slightly cruel but funny ER11 memes?

    A £2m wind turbine was knocked over by the wind after raging storms and 50mph gales made the blades on the 300ft rotary turn at twice their normal speed.

    The turbine, which was almost the height of St Paul’s Cathedral, was torn apart by the raging winds and eventually collapsed to the ground in February.

    Families in the nearby village of Gilfach Goch, South Wales, said the noise sounded like ‘thunder and lightning.’

    Shy Ted, I do not understand how twitter works. So it may be that what appears to be an accurate prediction may be really just a gamble of posting several possibilities.

    The dividing line between good and evil runs through every human being. We are all part of the problem … we participated in it.

    And the important part:
    We should not become a mass. The small group who will stay true to ethical principles….

    But there is a part where the discussion shifts to the ideological. I agree with what he is saying but there are problems in the here and now. We don’t have the time to sit back and wait.
    People are struggling to pay their bills. They have lost their jobs. The education system is in a mess.

    Charlie’s been King for 24 hours. And then …

    Moments before signing the Accession Proclamation – marking his official ascension to the throne of the British Commonwealth – the monarch found himself having to frantically gesture at aides to clear the desk where he was to ink his name on the documents.

    The objects of concern consisted of a pen box and an inkwell, both of which had reportedly been gifted to him by his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.

    Sometimes, there can be an overflow of available news and sifting through it to find the truth requires some untangling.

    I am reading a lot about QEII, on both sides of the ledger – Positive and Negative. I want to gain enough data to be able to then arrive at an informed decision rather than half-baked or subjective opinions.

    I’ll post some of what I am reading and viewing as I come across the items. Readers and posters can form their own opinions. In the search for truth, we need to be prepared to listen, learn and modify our conclusions if there are facts to back up the opposite viewpoint.

    She was, in my opinion, a sincere Christian but ultimately that is for God to judge, for her, as for all of us. The notion that we, not God, can cast an eye and judge her unfit is the issue I was alluding to.
