Yes taking covid seriously in February March 2020 should be a hanging offence.

It appeared to be very serious back then. No one knew much at all, and there was a barrage of film from China and other places suggesting something out of a horror movie (and it’s interesting to recall what exactly was trending on Netflix and the like). The buying up of PPE and other pandemic necessities was another indicator, even as Pelosi encouraged Americans to go to Chinatown and celebrate New Year. We even monitored traffic in Wuhan.

There was a shipload of entitlement doctors yelling for repatriation to be organised by the government, another ship laying off Yokohama supposedly full of disease. Then, at the end of March, the first lockdown and its panic buying. None of us imagined what it would be like over a year later.

A new (and to my mind, illegitimate) US president, a suite of useless “vaccines”, the shifting of goalposts from “flatten the curve” to “zero cases” all to the tune of “exhausted” TikTok nurses and sad eyed CHOs. The relinquishing of authority by our own PM to state premiers who now run their own fiefdoms.

And still locked down. And two old has-beens telling us today that we must love China.

Adam Creighton has a twitter post up about this and is of the opinion that what is happening in Iceland and Israel is telling us that vaccines aren’t much use in combating spread which iirc Tel said was never part of the testing process anyhow so getting vaccinated to prevent spread is not i dunno a good message to sent? a good reason to get vaccinated?

Adam went on to say that the vaccines ARE good for reducing the risk of severe illness and death.

And missing from the Israel equation is the fact that there hospitalisations and presumably also deaths in the unvaccinated population, which as we know are not just young people but members of two distinctive Israeli communities.

I’ll take his word for that being the correct takeaway.

Especially in light of the complete lack of empirical support for the opposing ‘argument’.

As far as breakthrough cases, now wouldn’t getting a mild breakthrough case of covid be good for improving your immunity levels?

Tbh im over the covid stuff, get vaccinated don’t get vaccinated, let everyone do what they want and don’t bother with outrage over government ‘encouragement’ of vaccines.

That interview between Dr Peter Mccullough and that ex-Fox journalist about the numbers of deaths and other adverse reactions to the vaccines that the VAERS system has reported, that Steve T put up yesterday, referred to Entrusted News Initiative – which is the pushing of a narrative instead of providing only the facts.

This wild idea is based on the myth that human beings are rational animals and form their opinions by looking at the evidence. This is quite clearly false in most cases; the great majority form an opinion by looking to see what their gang believes. If they choose a gang to join, it’s on the basis of empathy with other members of the gangs. Having chosen a gang, you just adopt the opinions of the gang. It saves the agony and anguish of thought, and if you’re going to be wrong, at least you’ll have congenial company.

This is the awful reality: for most of the human species, this is how you decide your beliefs. It’s a social thing. Objective reality for most consists entirely of the beliefs of their friends and neighbours. Arguing with them is counterproductive because a counter to their beliefs just demonstrates that you are in the wrong gang, hence a baddie, and to be resisted in the interests of showing your own gang how devout you are.

Yet these green shits claim only 150MW intermittent renewable and battery will be needed to replace it.

I guess the school teacher bint is not teaching maths. Fucking disgraceful, these karens will have us living in the dark and put out of work 160000 fossils direct and indirect jobs in the Hunter Valley. Kean doesn’t make the decision but Stokes does and he has balls the size of the chunk virus.

The school teacher was interviewed on 2HD this morning and naturally ranted and hyperventilated about the code red latest IPCC bullshit. Fortunately I was able to counter her shit but credit where credit is due these bastards are implacable and organised.

Anecdote time. From workmate after a more mundane business related phone conversation today. One who has grey nomad family from the southern reaches of Newcastle near Cardiff.

They got out on the road a few weeks ago before the lockdown, the other evening somewhere around the NW slopes/Plains I am led to believe were parked up in a free camping area out of town & off the highway. Cops pull in and were aggressively question one of them fishing for COVID violations, apparently a report had come from “a member of the community.”

They knew all about their last few days movements when tracing app list offered (Nup don’t need already checked) and even a speeding ticket one of them received a few days back. Apparently about half an hour of unpleasantness and fruitless aggressive questioning they gave up.

If indeed it was a tip off from the public what a miserable nation we are devolving too. I lean more towards the cops knowing the camping area and on a fishing expedition nearly creaming themselves with a hit on a Newcastle addressed plate then being disappointed by the tracing info but continuing anyway hoping for an inconsistency.

All I thought of was “the worst toilet in Scotland from Trainspotting” on what this country has become.

They’re still backed up by a massive propaganda apparatus and abuse of anybody who questions them.

    They’re also completely useless.

The reason they got away with Covid vaccine testing being so shit is because every other vaccine is tested in a fraudulent manner too. There’s no science and there’s never been any science. The FDA and TGA etc aren’t equipped to do anything of the sort. The only difference is that governments don’t normally face the same level of urgency so they drag their fraudulent methods out over decades and demand lots of bribes and cushy quid pro quo jobs rather than condense it to a few months like the COVID vaccines.

    Passing Observations 49

I’ve just finished reading a book about Antifa. Disappointingly it didn’t mention the link between Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and the Great Reset. Perhaps it is considered unacceptable to discuss these links in public. In my view all left wing organisations seem to be united against civilisation, against freedom, against democracy and against independence.

The value of the UK’s Crown Estates (the queen’s land holdings) increased to £14.4 billion during the last twelve months. Can someone please explain to me why British taxpayers give huge amounts of money every year to the world’s richest woman?

Former British Prime Minister, David Cameron, was paid more than £29,000 a day for the 25 days he worked for collapsed finance company Greensill Company. Cameron has been exposed as the truly unacceptable face of British capitalism.

Southern Water (a British water supplier) has been fined £90 million for deliberately dumping billions of litres of sewage into the sea between 2010 and 2015. The company is apparently still dumping sewage, and is the second worst offender in the UK. The CEO received a bonus of £550,900.

Harry, ex-member of the royal family and publicity shy person, seems to have only one thing to sell: his family. As with all exhibitionists I predict that he will become ever more strident and desperate to obtain the publicity he claims to abhor.

As the NHS continues to collapse (it is certainly not fit for purpose) so the demand for private GPs and private hospitals will boom.

I bought a spare battery for my electric hedge trimmer so that it would run for longer. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy spare batteries for me. I ran out of energy long before the hedge trimmer’s first battery had died.

Selfish people are apparently booking multiple holidays to different countries so that if one country goes out of bounds they can go somewhere else. The same selfish folk are booking several tables at different restaurants. And they’re buying clothes from several online stores, picking one, and returning the rest. I would not like to be running any sort of business these days. (I have also noticed that more and more people are buying books, reading them and then returning them for a refund two weeks later.)

The cricket authorities have invented a new shorter form of cricket. People who don’t like cricket aren’t interested. People who like cricket aren’t interested. What did they expect?

British taxpayers have paid £2 billion for PPE which was of such poor quality that it could not be used for NHS staff. Around 2.1 billion items were rejected. How much of the £2 billion was paid to friends or relatives of government ministers? We will probably never know.

The UK’s Prime Minister and Chancellor have been holding secret meetings with individuals who gave at least £250,000 each to the Conservative Party.

Fuel bills will soar during the winter because of unnecessary (and harmful `global warming’ legislation. The result will be that considerably more than the usual 60,000 will die of the cold in the winter of 2021/2022.

How many NHS staff were aware of the secret plans to withdraw hospital care from elderly patients?

One in four hospital patients who was officially classified as suffering from covid-19 was actually suffering from something else. This must be added to the long list of lies and deceits.

It is reported in the Daily Telegraph that Melinda Gates hired divorce lawyers after the meetings between her husband, Bill Gates, and the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein became public.

It seems certain that track and trace functions using Google and Apple technology will in future be monetised – to the advantage of the two companies.

Mainstream commentators are claiming that covid-19 passes are as harmless as bus passes and will be only used `temporarily’.

Banks in England are still shutting at 3pm even though other restrictions have been lifted. It seems certain that it is to drive more and more people into internet banking. Cash machines are increasingly being left empty of cash – and therefore useless.

Hotels are using temperature checks on guests before allowing them to enter. This means that if guests arrive and fail a temperature test they will be sent away – even if they have driven 200 miles to the hotel. Temperature tests are, of course, entirely useless.

It is estimated that less than 0.000001% of those who have been vaccinated against covid-19 were fully informed about the dangers of the experimental jab. This seems to me to be a wildly generous estimate.

Cancel culture, a hyper-version of the identity politics that for the past half-century plagued conservatives, has now come for contrarians like Germaine Greer and social democrats such as J.K. Most American liberals, we might assume, are going to keep their heads below the parapet and hope cancel culture and all it entails will somehow burn itself out before it burns down the house. But a fire of this kind is unlikely to abate of its own accord.

ftb, but when at the beach it’s easy to think, not so much! (I know, before anyone says it – yes, I’m dreaming!)

Even so, I was just watching Andrew Clennell on Sky. He made the point that McGowan and Pileofsh1t were returned at their last state elections because they kept everyone safe [edit: but the oppositions in both states were/are abysmal, plus with few cases and lotsa money from the Feds, the pain felt by the majority of the electors wasn’t terminal for each government].

But then he said that earlier in the year Gladys was recognised by state electors for her supremely good common sense in contrast to the Political Expediency Party of the other State Premiers.

But now that she’s done her 180, her personal standing has nose-dived. Thus the longer the lockdowns go on in Sydney, may see the end of Our Glad [edit: there’s no affection in that title].

And though the state election is not until March 2023, if enough people are reduced to penury in this state, there’s no coming back from that for her [edit: and with the smoking wreck of Melbourne, more than likely it’ll be the same for Dan Xi-man].

Just on Clennell. He’s one of the noisiest voices on lockdowns – in fact all he does is goad Gladys to go harder. It’s ok for him, there’s no loss of income and little inconvenience – another f*wit journalist who’s not interested in the suffering of those in voter land just the narrative.
