    Check out this channel, ladies and gents. Professional divers who volunteer to remove cars from lakes and waterways. God knows how many are still sitting underwater? Since doing this, they’ve solved around 16 missing person cases.

    They carry out some excellent detective work to make it all happen.

    These guys are champions. Closure is given to the families, allowing them grieve. Emotional stuff, people.

    You will not see any bodies.

    I was regularly driving the Monash Freeway as they drained the lake at VFL Park as part of turning it into a housing redevelopment. There were about three cars at the bottom. Shenanigans by rival footy fans, I guess.

    A small group of concerned parent attended Lakeside Shopping Center, Perth Western Australia, on Tuesday 16th November 2021 in response to Premier Mark McGowan’s WA State Government via the Department of Health initiating a campaign to bus school students in to be injected.

    On the question of informed consent, the Supervising Teacher makes no comment, Security Staff get aggressive and forcibly remove a man voicing his concern and the Police arrive and walk away after agreeing to discuss the issue of consent.

    Andrews quote at the end of that Oz piece is damning of the man. He sure is panicking about getting these new powers.

    I wonder how he is going to make exemptions for maaates and his family, or is he that psychopathic that he doesn’t care about locking up his kids?

    Talking to a nurse friend from Vic yesterdee; when she was having it out with HR and supers about refusing the MyocardiVaxx they told her she could speak to a counsellor and if that didn’t change her mind it was adios.

    So she’s at home baking bread for the foreseeable future.

    Compare and contrast with the sentences handed out to BLM rioters who burned down buildings and attacked police. That is the 1% of them who ever got charged.

    True story. Went out to lunch yesterday, sat between a Professor of Public Health who is now working the vax clinic and on the other side a well to do chap building his “off the grid” dream home on one of the GC’ posh islands “to help with emissions”. Bloody insufferable both. After a little while of listening, not wishing to interrupt their tales of doing God’ work I said to one I didn’t believe Convid was real and to the other it was a crime to subsidise the cost of solar panels to wealthy people and that his already booked international travel for 2022 might just involve more emissions. “We travel first class and there’s carbon offsets built into the ticket price”.
    There was much more to it than that but it seems these types are irredeemably stupid and unwilling to alter their viewpoints.
    I was however quite proud of my questions, 1 to each, “how many jabs are you prepared to give people before you say this is not medicine?” and “how many jabs are you prepared to have before you say this is not medicine?”
    Indian food, not bad but restaurant really struggling. Dream home chap completely sober and thought his Indian accent was just like the real thing. Cringeworthy.
    In future I’m just going tot send these types to Specsavers

    ‘People who were allegedly unlawfully stripsearched at the Splendour in the Grass music festival could be entitled to thousands of dollars in compensation.

    Lawyers believe hundreds of young people, including teenagers, were unlawfully stripsearched at the annual event between 2016 and 2019 and are calling for them to join a class action to sue NSW Police.

    Redfern Legal Centre (RLC) and Slater and Gordon, who are launching the case, allege festivalgoers were told to lift or remove items of clothing, strip naked and squat and cough or lift their genitals so officers could visually inspect body cavities.

    RLC principal solicitor Alexis Goodstone said the “groundbreaking” class action would seek redress for people subjected to “invasive and traumatic searches”.

    “We also hope this test case will pave the way for a series of cases focusing on other locations or music festivals and, importantly, help stop unlawful police searches in NSW,” she said.’

    Besides not giving any scientific evidence that coal and oil use control the climate and temperature, the presenters at the COP 26 climate change conference in Glasgow did not address the massive environmental and economic damage the goal of net zero would cause.

    If we move completely away from oil and other fossil fuels, with the unrealistic goal to get rid of carbon, the amount of economic and environmental damage to the U.S and the rest of the world will be massive.

    The Biden administration and other Democrats, including most of the media, have the goal of bankrupting coal and oil companies. As they cripple those companies, raise prices, and decimate supplies the cascading effect will be rapid.

    Where will all the planes, trucks, cars, military equipment, ships, farm equipment, road equipment, fire engines. be put once they are useless and junk? How much land will that take? How much environmental damage will that cause?

    Think of all the other entities which will go broke: Boeing, Lockheed, all the airlines, Trucking companies, UPS, Federal Express, the travel and leisure companies, cruise companies, ship manufacturers, the space industry, tire manufacturers, truck stops, convenience stores, etc. The damage is unfathomable.

    Are they sure all the abandoned underground storage tanks won’t leak and cause severe environmental damage?

    Think of all the banks that will go belly up because the collateral on loans is worthless?

    Over 6,000 products are derived from oil, so how many of them will go belly up? What will we replace all those products with? How expensive will roads be if we no longer have asphalt? Maybe we will go back to dirt roads.

    There will be few exports and imports without ships. Farmers will go belly up because of a lack of a market and their machinery will be worthless.

    How will the poor and middle class afford to replace their vehicles when their trade ins are worthless, and the electric vehicles are so costly?

    How much will homes and buildings cost to repair when their gas, fuel oil, and propane equipment is worthless? Won’t the values go substantially down when they can’t have heat or air conditioning until they are converted to wind and solar?

    Why are we going to spend so much of the so-called infrastructure bill on ports and airports when we won’t have many planes or ships?

    Won’t life be pristine in Hawaii, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico when they have few visitors?

    Australia won’t have to worry so much about visitors spreading diseases.

    It has been clear for a long time that Democrats have craved government power and making as many people dependent on the government as possible. Their destruction of reasonably priced energy and tens of millions of jobs related to oil will go a long way towards achieving that goal.

    How much will Lithium batteries or other batteries cost when everyone must replace their worthless gas-powered vehicles and equipment? Does anyone believe we have that much lithium or manufacturing capabilities?

    For over 100 years we were told, without scientific evidence, that we had to get alternative energy sources because we were running out of oil.

    As more oil and natural gas were found, the fear mongers, the talking points changed, without scientific evidence, that we had to stop using oil and coal because they were destroying the planet and causing an existential threat of climate change.

    …

    China, Russia, Iran, terrorists, and drug cartels are a much greater long term and short-term existential threat to humanity than oil, coal, natural gas, CO2 and methane. The world leaders better get their priorities straight before humanity is destroyed.

    It would be nice if world leaders recognized how fossil fuels have greatly improved the quality and length of life the last 150 years instead of blaming them for the Earth’s ills.

    It is amazing how little foresight or intelligence these supposedly intelligent people have as they indoctrinate us and destroy our way of life.

    Not really. But if it had been Waller, or Collins, or Howden in command, for example, I reckon they’d have:

    a) had the aircraft flying and inspecting
    b) fired a shot across the bow to make the target (Kormoran) heave to, to allow better inspection, and
    c) approached from behind the German’s stern

    At the slightest hint of treachery they’d have engaged. For example, any movement of Kormoran to expose her side – to allow for a broadside – would have seen fire directed at the target.

    Burnett in the end has to take the blame. He might not have been on the bridge, but it was his standing orders as to how to approach which were in force.

    Sad, but not aggressive enough. Although in the end his ship’s company fought well.
