Piers Akerman.
‘As COP26 wound down, there were flood warnings out for NSW’s Lachlan River, providing even further proof – if any was needed – that the global warmists’ catastrophic predictions are unscientific humbug.
The heavy rainfalls recorded in areas of South Australia, Victoria and NSW over the past fortnight totally undermine former Australian of the Year and Climate Council chief Tim Flannery’s 2005 predictions that drought conditions would become “permanent in eastern Australia” and that “the rain that comes won’t fill our dams”.
On Saturday, WaterNSW’s website showed Sydney’s main dam, Warragamba, was filled to 97.8 per cent of capacity and the dams in the greater Sydney catchment were at 94.6 per cent.
The palaeontologist is still regarded as something of a guru by the unthinking fully paid-up members of the climate cult however, and he and the left-wing Climate Council are go-to commentators on the COP talks for the ABC and the Nine media.
Last month, Peter FitzSimons, ignored the evidence and asked Flannery whether he felt “tragically vindicated”.
“Most sensible people will now concede you were right on warning of the dangers of climate change and the denialists were wrong” said the author, best known for the red bandana he used to wear to distinguish himself from the rest of the bizarrely garbed activists.
In reality, no sensible person could concede that any of Flannery’s doomsday predictions about climate change had any validity.
Glasgow’s COP26 brought out the false prophets by the thousands and the Nine media and “our” ABC couldn’t get enough of them.
Outgoing Radio National activist Fran Kelly conducted a long and sympathetic interview with Simon Kofe, Tuvalu’s foreign minister, who had presented a video address to the Glasgow gabfest from a podium where he stood knee-deep in the waters of the Pacific.
Promoting the notion that Tuvalu is sinking because of global warming has been a constant theme of the Pacific nations’ attempts to blackmail the West to send more cash to their leaders, even though the ABC’s own (rarely used) fact-check department found in December 2018 that Tuvalu’s total land area grew by 2.9 per cent in the four decades to 2014.
Kelly didn’t mention her own organisation’s findings during her sharing-caring luvvy discussion.
Instead, she focused on how much money would be needed to bail out Tuvalu in the (unlikely) event its islands sank.
Like Flannery, Kelly is long on doom but short on facts and the default position of both and all in the global warming activists’ camp is to demand that Western nations suspend the powerhouses of their economies – the coal and gas-fired plants – and inflict brutally high prices for unreliable solar and wind energy on their citizens.
China, meanwhile, is building more coal-fired plants to power manufacturing, outsourced from the West because energy prices have made it too expensive, to build things in nations that have drunk the green Kool-Aid.
Activists ignore the science which shows that CO2, which is demonised, makes up 0.04 per cent by volume of the atmosphere and 95 per cent of it comes from natural sources, such as volcanoes and the oceans.
Humans – whom the Extinction Rebellion mob would like to see become extinct – are responsible for about 0.0016 per cent.
If anyone at COP26 pointed out that the Canary Islands’ Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma has been spewing the usual toxic gases and some CO2 for six weeks, the comment must have been lost in the screaming from the ill-educated schoolchildren shrieking their support for Greta Thunberg.
Not only was COP26 a flop like the previous 25 COPs, even the “big” story such as the soft US-China accord was not much more than a recycling of the Obama-Xi deal to ratify the Paris Agreement five years
But what the heck, COP27 will be held at Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh resort next year, an altogether more pleasant place than Glasgow and COP28 is scheduled to take place in the UAE (not such a great place).
So, fuel up the private jets, ramp up the rhetoric and strap yourselves in for more crap from the world masters – the global warming catastrophists.’

Hello.
Klaus and Gates should be on the placards. I’ve seen little except a few WEF ones.
These singalongs “I am Australian” are nauseating. Most of the crowd have no idea who is running this scamdemic….they don’t. They simply do not know. Anyone thinking the Premiers and CMO’s are calling the shots are ignorant. Is it a fault on their behalf? No, it is not. They just don’t know.
Ask a person in the street about WEF 201. Sh*t, even dad dismisses it. Love him to bits, but he is clueless. That’s what you get when you rely on the ABC. That is his source for everything. Impossible to have conversation with him about this subject.

Peter Gleeson right.
‘Clive Palmer has his sights set well and truly on the National Party.
The Queensland billionaire will ramp up political ads against Barnaby Joyce and his team in coming months.
The campaign will centre on the Nationals being part of a Coalition Government which has committed to net zero emissions by 2050.
Palmer knows that mining and agriculture will be hardest hit by any “transitioning’’ of jobs to meet those 2050 renewable targets.
He will spend tens of millions of dollars trying to convince miners and farmers that the National Party is selling them out at a time when they are most exposed.
For the Nationals, the Palmer strategy – mirrored by Pauline Hanson and Bob Katter – is a massive threat to their ongoing electoral success.
The reality is that people like Senator Matt Canavan and Resources Minister Keith Pitt will not preside over the demise of these two industries.
They can’t, and they know it. This is where Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Joyce must use all of their political expertise and skill to ensure Palmer-Hanson-Katter does not cut the National Party’s voting grass.
Make no mistake, seats based on coal production and farming will determine the outcome of the next election.
There are about seven or eight coal seats in play. The Labor Party are in trouble in seats around the Hunter as miners desert them because of their radical climate change policy. That’s why seats in Central Queensland and the Hunter swung violently to Morrison and Hanson as they didn’t trust Bill Shorten.
But with the Coalition agreeing to the 2050 target in Glasgow, miners and farmers are now looking to the politicians who can save their bacon, because coal fired power stations would have to be phased out and vegetation management policy up-ended.
This is where the Nationals have no choice but to go it alone on climate change. Everybody wants to save the planet, but at what cost to regional communities?
The problem for Labor, dominated by the Left, is that its climate change policies will kill the bush. Now, it may not have a problem with that because most of its supporters live in the cities.
But as any politician will tell you, ignore country people at your peril. Labor leader Anthony Albanese might well want to cater to the chardonnay socialists in inner city electorates, but it’s the bush where he will lose the next election.
Similarly, if the bush turns on Morrison he’s history. The Nationals know this. They also know that the one thing voters want from their elected leaders is conviction.
For the Nats, Glasgow was a charade. The say the PM rolled the arm over. They also know that politics is about winning and Labor will say and do anything to win.
They will rely on farmers and miners being reasonable and practical people. They work hard and just get on with it. They vote for the Liberal-National parties because they expect that in times of trouble, they will be there for them.
The Coalition must today start explaining how they will look after these people, based on the current frenzy around reaching 2050 targets.
If they don’t do it properly and prove to the bush that they can count on them, they will be punished, and with the inevitability then of a Labor Government, so too will the rest of us.’

Your Dad just doesn’t know the modern incarnation of what’s been around for centuries. Klaus is the protoge of Kissinger, who was the driving force behind Bilderberg.
From 2015:
A home for a global elite
‘Despite the lack of public trust in banks and financial institutions, Davos remains devoted to protecting and expanding the interests of the financial elite. In fact, the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum (its top governing body) includes many representatives of the world of finance and global financial governance.
Among them, (as this infographic makes clear) are Mukesh Ambani, who sits on advisory boards to Citigroup, Bank of America and the National Bank of Kuwait; and Herman Gref, the CEO of Sberbank, a large Russian bank. Ernesto Zedillo, the former President of Mexico who is also a member of the board, currently serves as a director on the boards of Rolls Royce and JPMorgan Chase, international advisory boards to BP and Credit Suisse, an adviser to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and is a member of the Group of Thirty and the Trilateral Commission as well as sitting on the board of one of the world’s most influential economic think tanks, the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
Also notable, Mark Carney, the governor of the Bank of England, is a member of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum. Carney started his career working for Goldman Sachs for 13 years, after which he was appointed as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada. After a subsequent stint in Canada’s Ministry of Finance, Carney returned to the Bank of Canada as governor from 2008 to 2013, when he became the first non-Briton to be appointed as head of the Bank of England in its 330-year history. From 2011 to present, Carney has also been the Chairman of the Financial Stability Board, run out of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland.
Apart from heading the FSB, Mark Carney is also a board member of the BIS, which serves as the central bank for the world’s major central banks. He is also a member of the Group of Thirty, a private and highly influential think tank and lobby group that brings together dozens of the most influential economists, central bankers, commercial bankers and finance ministers. Carney has also been a regular attendee at annual meetings of the Bilderberg Group, an even more-exclusive “invite only” global conference than the WEF.
Though there are few women among the WEF’s membership – let alone its leadership – Christine Lagarde has made the list, while simultaneously serving as the managing director of the IMF. She previously served as the French finance minister throughout the course of the financial crisis. Lagarde also attends occasional Bilderberg meetings, and is one of the most powerful technocrats in the world. Min Zhu, the deputy managing director of the IMF, also sits on the WEF’s board.
Further, the World Economic Forum has another governing body, the International Business Council, first established in 2002 and composed of 100 “highly respected and influential chief executives from all industries,” which “acts as an advisory body providing intellectual stewardship to the World Economic Forum and makes active contributions to the Annual Meeting agenda.”
The membership of the WEF is divided into three categories: Regional Partners, Industry Partner Groups, and the most esteemed, the Strategic Partners. Membership fees paid by corporations and industry groups finance the Forum and its activities and provide the member company with extra access to meet delegates, hold private meetings and set the agenda. In 2015, the cost of an annual Strategic Partner status with the WEF had increased to nearly $700,000. Among the WEF’s current strategic partners are Bank of America, Barclays, BlackRock, BP, Chevron, Citi, Coca-Cola, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Dow Chemical, Facebook, GE, Goldman Sachs, Google, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, PepsiCo, Siemens, Total, and UBS, among others.
Depending on its finances from these sources, as well as being governed by individuals from these and others institutions, it is no surprise that Davos promotes the interests of financial and corporate power above all else. This is further evident on matters related to trade.’

I’ve no troubles with a country feeding it’s citizens. But, when you do this; sinking of the boats is justified. No doubt, a lot of CCP ca$h is preventing action.

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) getting desperate – We are writing to you because you are a practitioner on the temporary Ahpra pandemic response sub-register (the sub-register).
This email is to ask that you take action now to opt out of the sub-register if you’re not available or intending to be part of a surge health workforce to help the COVID-19 response.
Health authorities are increasing their contact with practitioners on the sub-register as part of their workforce planning in response to the opening of domestic and international borders.
Health practitioners on the sub-register are listed on the Register of practitioners and are flagged as being registered on either the 2020 or 2021 sub-register, which indicates when you were first added to the sub-register. You will continue to be listed on the public register unless you opt out.
About 10 percent of practitioners on the sub-registers have returned to practice and, while small in number, the surge workforce is important in helping our communities and health services get through the increased pressure from the pandemic.
You may be contacted by representatives from your local health department to see if you are available to work.
I’m sure you’re all aware of the threats of deregistration AHPRA has made to practitioners who go against the narrative. Perhaps they could all resign as an actual incentive. Still lots of docs and nurses to walk rather than get jabbed shortly.

Pat Cash weighs in. I guess you would have to have Instagram to see the whole video but his point is made.
