Anzac Day – 2023

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

    A few days after Anzac Day, I was listening to talkback radio in Melbourne. Apparently, while he was the sitting member for Kooyong, Josh Frydenberg would always use his mailing allowance to send out a mailout for Anzac Day- a full colour brochure providing background & giving details for local commemoration ceremonies. The caller was a bit disgruntled that the new member, Teal Monique Ryan, had not seen fit to do anything similar.

  4. Monique must be saving her allowance for that all-essential emergency numbers fridge magnet that everyone ignores.
