Thanks Mark and Johanna at least something to laugh at . Emperor , King, and Country   Well our Country who is sounding not only angry but  agitated , is about to put in more restrictions which will make lockdown longer than the siege of Stalingrad .  At least the Russkis fought back . I originally thought we’d still be in lockdown at Christmas  now maybe next year unless there is a rebellion .
Mother Nature is helping as we have a lovely sunny day  just life still frozen . I’m off to see Grand daughter 3 in the park later . She is leaving for NY on Monday to do Masters and who knows when she will be able to get back in here.
Apart from the isolation, even though a real senior cit ,  I am fortunate to have a great apartment with a view of the city, the park and people walking to the park, phone and Zoom and no financial stress . There will be many out there who are going to need unbelievable resilience and fortitude to get through . Those with underlying anxiety issues ( last research 40% of population) will be harmed the most.  Colleagues  are  busy working on Zoom, however how many can afford to pay a psychologist these days?

    Shock loss of teacher

    MARK MURRAY

Cairns school teacher and mother-of-two Sara McCarthy, 45, died suddenly in Cairns after returning from a jog. Picture: Supplied

A FAR North family is devastated after the sudden death of a fit and healthy 45-year-old mum who collapsed on a Cairns street returning from a jog.

Freshwater State School teacher Sara McCarthy was found unconscious on a footpath and rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where she underwent emergency blood clotting procedure related to a stroke.

She slipped into a coma and died on Friday.

Her death has stunned her loving family, friends and the school where she was “well loved by staff, students and admired by all.”

Ms McCarthy – a mother of two – was almost back at her front gate after a 10km run when tragedy struck.

She was in training for a half marathon.

Her heartbroken brother, former KAP candidate Daniel McCarthy, said the family was in a state of shock.

    “We are devastated,” he said.

“There are many hearts and lives that she has touched and influenced in a positive way.

“The outpouring of grief across the community just goes to show what a wonderful person Sara was.”

Mr McCarthy said his sister was an inspiration to her children, family, friends and colleagues in 2019 when she lost 58kg following the death of their mum. She had transformed herself into a supremely fit athlete.

“She did an amazing job through hard work and discipline,” Mr McCarthy said.

He said the circumstances into her death were gut-wrenching. “She had a stroke while she was running,” he said.

“Someone found her and rushed her to the hospital. She slipped into a coma on the way down to the Gold Coast and never came out.”

Tributes are pouring in for the “best mother” who was “loved fiercely” by her two children Georgia, 14, and Jack, 12. She was the youngest of four siblings.

“This sudden loss has shocked our community, and we want Georgia and Jack to know they have our immediate and ongoing support,” her friend Katie Williard said.

“Sara always provided opportunities for her kids, helping them to become the independent and confident people they are today, and we know she would want them to continue doing the things they love in her absence,” she said.

    Probe into jog death

    MARK MURRAY

FRIENDS, family and colleagues of a fit and healthy Far North primary school teacher have called for an investigation into her sudden death.

Cairns mother-of-two Sara McCarthy had a stroke and collapsed after a jog on August 4.

The 45-year-old (right) was flown to a Gold Coast hospital where she had emergency blood clot procedures but never recovered. She died on Friday, August 13.

Ms McCarthy – who was training for a half marathon – had complained of severe back pain leading up to her death. She had been fully vaccinated, having her second dose of Pfizer on July 28.

Federal health authorities have issued a new warning to the product information of the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine and possible “inflammation of the heart” and “of the membrane around the heart” as a rare side effect of the jab which may occur “within 10 days of vaccination”.

The conditions, known as myocarditis and pericarditis, can in severe cases lead to stroke or heart attack due to blood clots forming in the heart.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration has received 188 reports of suspected myocarditis and/ or pericarditis following vaccinations with Pfizer as of August 15. A spokeswoman said there had been no reported fatal cases of myocarditis in Australia as being linked to the Pfizer dose.

News Corp is not suggesting Ms McCarthy died as a result of the Pfizer vaccine, only that there are investigations into possible links between its side effects and, in rare cases, stroke and other heart conditions.

“She had extreme back pain on the same day she had the second Pfizer shot,” friend Kate Willard said. “Sometimes extreme pain can be an indicator of stroke, but we just don’t know.”

A Queensland Coroners Court spokesman said Ms McCarthy’s death had been reported to the Northern Coroner “and will be investigated accordingly”.

Ms McCarthy’s brother, Daniel Mc-Carthy, said the exact cause of his sister’s death was in the hands of the coroner.

“We need to wait and let the experts do their job, and we’ll deal with whatever the outcome is,” he said.

Joh, I have a friend who works in a medical environment.  Also a stitcher (of fabric, not people – although she’d be a dab hand at pulling them out).

She was telling us she’s stitching masks for two year olds, seemingly oblivious of the serious health and psychological risks to the little ones.  She must be aware of this, but signalling compliance is more important.’

I know, calli. People often wonder at how the populace fell in with the Third Reich and other dictatorships, as if it was aberrant behaviour. It’s not. It’s entirely predictable in a created atmosphere of fear and/or grievance.

Cats and Kittehs are able to peruse many sources of information. Your average punter, not very interested in politics, gets info from the heavily censored social media and MSM.

No surprise as to why they react as they do.

You would hope that somebody would stand up for the little kids, irrespective of politics. Putting masks on them is just plain cruel, as well as ineffectual at best.

This is the one long article you should find 10 minutes to read and digest today.

Covers a lot of ground but i think his basic idea, the ‘elites/managers’ are in a world of hurt is probably correct.

    https://tinkzorg.wordpress.com/2021/08/16/farewell-to-bourgeois-kings/

It is not just that the elite class is incompetent – even kings could be incompetent without undermining belief in monarchy as a system – it is that they are so grossly, spectacularly incompetent that they walk around among us as living rebuttals of meritocracy itself. It is that their application of managerial logic to whatever field they get their grubby mitts on – from homelessness in California to industrial policy to running a war – makes that thing ten times more expensive and a hundred times more dysfunctional. To make the situation worse, the current elites seem almost serene in their willful destruction of the very fields they rely on for legitimacy. When the ”experts” go out of their way to write public letters about how covid supposedly only infects people who hold demonstrations in support of ”structural white supremacy”, while saying that Black Lives Matter demonstrations pose no risk of spreading the virus further, this amounts to the farmer gleefully salting his own fields to make sure nothing can grow there in the future. How can anyone expect the putative peasants of our social order to ”trust the science”, when the elites themselves are going out of their way, against all reason and the tenets of basic self-preservation, to make such a belief completely impossible even for those who really, genuinely, still want to believe?

    Thanks TFM

I find it very likely that most future historians will put the date of the real beginning of the collapse of the current political and geopolitical order right here, right now, at the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

They won’t dare put it at the 3rd November, 2020 and the days thereafter.

That was when the American eagle faltered – and its right to any moral authority over any other country on the globe.

    They did it to themselves.

Their proposed Royal Commission must question every Premier and State CMO for their scientific evidence which supports compulsory masks, lockdown and curfews. These people must stand in the dock and be forced to explain their actions.

In particular, they must be compelled to explain why they didn’t provide alternative therapeutics which would have saved some / most lives, I’d expect charges of manslaughter to follow this commission.

Young people, those hardly at all at risk from the virus itself, seem to be most at risk from the vaccine.  On the other hand, of course, if large numbers of the elderly die in a nursing home, whose to say whether it was the virus or the vaccine.

    David Elliott.

    Controversies
In November 2019, Elliott was cleared by police following an investigation into an alleged road rage incident involving a 17-year-old P-plate driver.[22] Elliot had told the P-plate driver he “worked for the cops”.[23]

Also in November 2019, Elliott responded to revelations police strip-searched 122 girls by stating he would want officers to search his own children if “they were at risk of doing something wrong”.[24]

In December 2019, he attracted attention for an offensive post on Facebook, in which he told a “mate” that he’d “rip your head off and s— in the hole”.[25]

In December 2019, Elliot was denounced for deciding to take a holiday to Europe during one of the worst bushfire disasters in the country’s history.[26] He faced heavy criticism because of his role as New South Wales Emergency Services Minister, with New South Wales being by far the worst-hit area of the country, with bushfires throughout NSW destroying almost a thousand houses and killing or displacing a billion animals,[27] with nine people killed, including three firefighters.[28] He was not helped by the fact that just a week earlier, the federal Liberal Party leader and prime minister, Scott Morrison, faced similar criticism for going on a holiday to Hawaii.[29]

Elliott responded to the claims by saying he would keep bushfire-affected communities and firefighters in his thoughts whilst on holiday.[30] After public pressure and criticism following catastrophic fires on 31 December 2019, Elliott “apparently” backflipped and returned home from his European trip.[31]

On 9 March 2020, the NSW Police announced an investigation into whether Elliott’s use of highly restricted firearms broke the law.[

    Taken from elsewhere:

Public School Sexual Abuse is far worse than in Catholic Schools

This may shock a lot of people but the facts bear it out.

Here is an Associated Press article on sexual abuse by teachers for reference:

    http://www.washingto npost.com/wp-dyn…2100144_2.html

In it, we get the following statistic:

4,400 of 110,000 priests were accused of molesting minors from 1950 through 2002.

That is a rate of 4%. And its just the accused, not convicted. And the 4,400 is over a period of 50 YEARS.

Now let’s look at some public school statistics:

Taken from CBS news, we get this data point from a federal government report circa 2009:

the federal report said 422,000 California public-school students would be victims before graduation — a number that dwarfs the state’s entire Catholic-school enrollment of 143,000.

How many students are enrolled in California? I can’t find the 2009 numbers, so lets’ use the 2012 numbers. Enrollment has grown in those 4-5 years which will give us a lower percentage than it really is, but let’s use it anyway. I’ll take the number of 6,294,131 from the state of California government website, which is the projected enrollment

    http://www.dof.ca.g ov/research/demog…/k-12/view.php

    422,000/6,294,131 = a rate of 6%

The John Jay Report (engaged the John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York to conduct a study analyzing allegations of sexual abuse in Catholic dioceses in United States) determined that there were 11,000 allegations over a 50 year period from 1950 to 2002. Not all of these allegations were true of course. On average about 220 reported allegations per year.

And yet the media focus is on the Catholic school sexual abuse and not the public school sexual scandal, which is larger is size and frequency.

Yet, during the first half of 2002, the 61 largest newspapers in California ran nearly 2,000 stories about sexual abuse in Catholic institutions, mostly concerning past allegations. During the same period, those newspapers ran four stories about the federal government’s discovery of the much larger — and ongoing — abuse scandal in public schools.

This is yet another example of how the media lies to you and presents a liberal view of the world. They use lies of omission. When there is news that promotes their agenda, they repeat it over and over again, with huge headlines and front-page stories. When news hurts their agenda, they almost never report it. The genius of the propaganda technique is that that cannot be accused of outright lying, they just used lies of omission. Furthermore, by running 4 stories on public school sexual abuse, they can shout down anyone who says they never report it….because after all, they did report on it FOUR times….compared to the 2000 stories attacking Catholic schools.

Amplify, repeat, stigmatize the target. In this case, religion. Rarely report on the parts of the issue that don’t fit the media’s agenda. Do that for 30 years, and people who get their news from nowhere besides the liberal press begin to think the Catholic church is a sexual menace and there is nothing wrong with public schools. They begin to believe big government works. And that is how you turn young minds into mush.

And this isn’t the only sphere the liberal press uses lies of omission. Its all over the place, in almost every issue. They distort the facts constantly to make it appear liberalism works. This is just one glaring example of it, which is it easy to spot since we have hard data.
