My sister is very conservative, very right-wing…..she now loathes the Liberals with a visceral passion. She’s said she’s going to split her vote in the senate between the Lib Dems and One Nation. She will write Donald Trump on her lower house ballot paper. My nephews, one quite libertarian and one a Liberal party member, have said that they will now both vote Lib Dems.
The anger is real and palpable. I actually feel physically sick when I now think of the Liberal party.
Further to my comment at 10:17, I think most people think they an comply their way out of this by getting their jab(s). I expect them to end up disappointed, that might change people’s views.

That’s the point. Subdue the enemy (now their own voters) without firing a shot. It works because there are so many reasons not to come to the attention of the authorities.
