    Economic predictions for 2023

I’m thinking 2022 was more 2007, and the big economic shocks are still to come.
2022 saw US tech stocks and crypto get wrecked.
2023 will see the main share indexes tumble further.
House prices will continue to decline everywhere that the cost of credit rises.
The US economy will likely fall into recession at some time in 2023, however Fed will be unable to lower rates due to inflation remaining high as US government spending shows no signs of reducing – ref 1.7 Trillion omnibus bill.

    Here’s what was printed…

My sincere thanks go to Rita Panahi (“Covid censors exposed”, 30/12) for cracking the dam that has been blocking the truth about Covid.

It has been incredibly frustrating for those of us with scientific and research training, and who attempt to share truth with our fellow Australians via newspapers, to have been called “crazy conspiracy theorists” and locked out – in my case for two years.

The fact is nobody needed to die of/with Covid. Nobody needed to be coerced into injections with known side effects. There was no need for lockdowns or masks or distancing or hysteria.

There were existing well-known safe drugs that cured Covid. Our own Professor Thomas Borody told us this in 2020. Our governments, in lockstep with the globalist controlled WHO, blocked their use.

Those who think there’s no such thing as a globalist cabal, despite them meeting in plain sight in Davos as the WEF, need to change their thinking quick-smart.

And here’s the part left off…

They control the UN and the WHO, and the whole Covid debacle was planned and implemented by them.

If you don’t want your children and grandchildren living as serfs under a global dictatorship, if they’re allowed to live at all, you must take action now by telling your ALP-LNP-Green UNiparty MP that you know what they were part of – and never electing any of them in future.

A boy who was unable to read had a score of 34/36.
He was related to Anne Dennis – the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group president & the NSW Aboriginal Land Council chair for the North West region.
Nathaniel Train was trying to get NAPLAN tests observed to prevent cheating. It required a staff vote to do this.
It’s uncertain from the documentation whether this occurred.
The NAPLAN cheating scandal is much bigger than Walgett.
It is a HUGE scandal & mainstream media have been quiet about it. Could this be corruption from high places!?
It would seem that educating Australian Indigenous children is secondary to making (a lot of) money. This is (part of) what Nathaniel Train was trying to expose.

I had planned to start off my Open Thread postings, for this year, with some light stuff.

But as I was not here when the death of Pope Benedict was announced yesterday, around 10 pm our time, (he passed away 9.34 am, 31 December 2022, Rome time) a brief comment on this.

Benedict was 95 and ill. So the news should not be a surprise. He was a faithful shepherd of the Church – not perfect, as none of us are – and now gone to his eternal rest. I had hoped he would be here for at least a few days of the New Year 2023.

As long as he was on this earth, residing there in the Vatican, Benedict was a reminder to the NWO-WEF globalist, marxist, modernist cabal in the Church that they are on the wrong path.

His death marks the end of an era in the Catholic Church. Eternal rest to the soul of Joseph Ratzinger / Pope Benedict XVI.

What happens to the Catholic Church from here on?

Perhaps the seat of Peter is now vacant.

The Most Famous New Year’s Day Hymn, ‘Amazing Grace,’
    Celebrates 250 Years

Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 is the 250th anniversary of this famous hymn written by Rev. John Newton, an Anglican priest and former captain of slave ships, who later in life joined William Wilberforce and worked to abolish slavery in the British Empire.

Newton wrote “Amazing Grace” for his Anglican congregation — St. Peter and Paul Church in Olney Buckinghamshire, England — to sing on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 1773.

    Why Christians Overwhelmingly Backed Trump

Despite predictions to the contrary, Trump won among conservative women and evangelicals. Abortion may have been a major factor.

….And despite the vulgar language Trump was heard using in the Access Hollywood tape, which many social conservatives found off-putting, 81 percent of white evangelical Christians still voted for Trump, as did the majority of people who attend religious services once a week or more. (Catholics were slightly more divided than born-again protestants, but 60 percent still went for Trump.)

Trump’s embrace by these groups might signal the importance of abortion—an issue on which at least a fifth of Americans say they will not compromise when voting. In 2015, 21 percent of Americans said they would only vote for a candidate who shared their abortion views, up from 13 percent in 2008.

Vice-President-elect Mike Pence’s abortion stance is well known: As governor of Indiana, he signed one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the nation.

Trump’s lasting legacy grows as Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade

When he ran in 2016, he promised that he would appoint conservative and pro-life judges to the federal courts starting with the U.S. Supreme Court. And he kept his word,” said Ralph Reed, an evangelical leader and chair of the The Faith and Freedom Coalition, who was criticized in some corners for his embrace of Trump. Those in the faith community that felt it was worth taking a chance on Donald Trump in 2016 have been vindicated.

For the fall of Roe v. Wade, thank Donald Trump

Overturning Roe v. Wade has been the overarching, seemingly impossible goal of the pro-life movement for almost five decades. Now that it has finally been achieved, four words should be on the lips of every pro-life conservative today: Thank you, Donald Trump.

Looking back on Trump’s chaotic presidency, some understandably ask: Was it all worth it for a few conservative justices? To which I answer: Yes. A thousand times, yes….

No, this doesn’t forgive Trump’s behavior after the 2020 election. But knowing what I know now, am I grateful for Trump’s four years in office? You bet I am. Millions of precious unborn lives will be saved as a result of this decision. And Trump made it possible.

My comment wasn’t directed at you, Kaysee. Why did you think it was?

OK, you have clarified that it was your opinion (which wasn’t clear from the original).

My comment stands. You don’t speak on behalf of ‘conservatives.’ No single individual does.
