As for Roe vs Wade, it was a constitutional law issue, not a moral one. It merely (correctly) returned abortion law back to the States.

It wasn’t Trump’s decision, and in the hierarchy of achievements of the Trump Presidency, it is well down the scale.

As he said recently (paraphrased), fanatical anti-abortionists are electoral poison.

This video addresses the “earthquake prediction” made and presented on youtube by a few well known youtube channels including Dahboo77 among others (not trying to single out dahboo just that his is the largest channel repeating the zerohedge/quake prediction channel report).

This game of telephone on earthquake reports references a twitter channel called “earthquake prediction”….. notice the terminology mistake right up front?! (prediction is for horse races, and forecasting is for natural processes).

This “quake prediction” twitter page puts out unsigned earthquake warnings on twitter—- “predictions” made using a methodology I don’t know much about (if anything exists at all i do not know).

However, I do indeed know (from looking at their page) that the earthquake prediction channel has issued many warnings for large earthquakes which don’t pan out. They appear to have a very low success rate — obviously low if you check their twitter page with hundreds of California warnings like this one now (and their channel is several years old at this point).

Never say never, but I am not taking the “prediction” seriously unless I can at least repeat the method they’re using!

    johanna,

I was clarifying that it was my opinion not someone else’s. I have not taken it negatively as some kind of attack. My words, my accountability.
And now, I proceed to defend my case.

I am not speaking on behalf of conservatives; I am stating my analysis of the current situation regarding the election in 2024, based on what I am reading at various sites including Conservative Christian ones that are staunchly pro-life, pro-traditional marriage and values. They are not happy.

And they are the voters – the ones who will decide who gets their vote. I posted 3 articles on the previous page as samples.

It doesn’t matter that Roe v Wade was a constitutional law issue and not a moral one. In fact, if the pro-abortion, pro-choice lobby understood that difference, there wouldn’t be the continuing harassment of pro-lifers.

a/ Trump won the 2016 primaries and the election despite many conservatives being put off by his lifestyle, number of marriages and some of his locker-room comments on women. They still voted for him because of his promise to appoint pro-life justices and get Roe v Wade overturned. Without those voters, Trump would not have won 2016.

b/ He won and he appointed the required Supreme Court justices who together were responsible for the correct change to the law which handed the issue back to the states.

c/ That law has resulted in the saving of lives. For pro-lifers (who are voters) that issue was at the top of their voting decisions in 2016. For that they are grateful to Trump.

d/ In trying to distance himself from the poorer than expected mid-term results, Trump is blaming the “abortion issue”. This will not go down well with pro-lifers.

Add to that, he wants to tear up the Constitution. He held a gala for LGBTxyz when the “Marriage Act” was passed and declared “We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard,” Just before the mid-term election, he picked a spat with DeSantis and threatened to reveal his secrets.

This outburst from Trump has only come up in the past few days. Watch for the reactions from pro-life groups in coming days.

Anti-abortion activists say Trump will still need to win them over in 2024

Anti-abortion proponents who believe Donald Trump’s crowning achievement was the overturning of Roe v. Wade say the newly declared 2024 contender will still have to earn their support in the upcoming Republican presidential primary – and he may be off to a rocky start.

Though the group did not mention Trump by name, its message was clear: No matter what he did to advance the anti-abortion cause during his first term, he must continue to prove his commitment as he seeks a second term or risk losing some conservative coalition support.

“Trump betraying the pro-life cause on Dobbs has been telegraphed for a long time and is a huge opening to bash him in the 2024 stakes which I expect several candidates to seize,” Mr. Domenech said. “Finally, think how stupid it is for Trump to run left on the pro-life issue. This is the biggest win of his presidency. Huge vested goodwill from pro-lifers. And what does he do? Call them quislings and say they’re too radical! Very dumb.”
