    So who exactly is Agrawal?

Starting his Twitter career as a software engineer in 2011, Agrawal quickly became CTO in 2017. There he was responsible for the company’s technical strategy, advancing machine learning across the business. His next big jump was to CEO, effective immediately at the end of November 2021.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak‘s wife could save herself £280m in UK tax thanks to a loophole created by a treaty between the UK and India dating from the 1950s.

Akshata Murty has “non-dom” status, meaning she does not have to pay UK tax on income earned abroad.

Non-dom status “wears off” after 15 years and the person is subject to all tax requirements of a UK citizen – including on their estate.

But there is an exception for Indian citizens around inheritance tax.

A technicality means that even if Ms Murty agrees to pay UK taxes on her worldwide income, but retains her non-dom status, she can still benefit from a provision in a 1956 treaty that was designed to stop Indian citizens being double-taxed on their estates in the UK and India.

Ms Murty earns money from shares in an Indian software giant founded by her billionaire father.

Paul Weston – Putin V The New World Order – Introduction

The next time you encounter a virtuous I-Stand-With-Ukrainer, ask them whether they are also standing with Yemen. Paul Weston has drawn attention to this other war in the Middle East.

There are two wars on in the world. The Western world is focussed on the war in Eastern Europe, between Russia and Ukraine, started 24 February 2022. As of today: 45 days

For more information on the other war, I checked this article. Listing some data as points to note on the other war:

1/ Middle East: between Yemen and Saudi coalition started in 2015, as of today: 7 years.

2/ Yemen’s neighbour Saudi Arabia was alarmed by the prospect of the Houthis taking control of Yemen, fearing it would become a satellite of its rival, Iran.

3/ In March 2015, it and other Arab states began an air campaign aimed at ousting the Houthis and restoring Mr Hadi’s government.

4/ The coalition received logistical and intelligence support from the US, UK and France.

5/ The civil war in Yemen, one of the Arab world’s poorest countries, has grown even more violent since the start of this year.

6/ The Saudi-led coalition backing the country’s official government has spent seven years fighting a rebel group called the Houthis, using mainly air strikes They, in turn, have used drones and missiles to attack both Saudi Arabia and its ally, the United Arab Emirates.

7/ Because of the war, Yemen is now facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

8/ The United Nations says the conflict in Yemen has produced the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with 24.1 million people – 80% of the population – needing humanitarian aid and protection.

9/ It predicts 19 million Yemenis will go hungry in the coming months, while more than 160,000 of them will face famine-like conditions

10/ The UN estimated that by the end of 2021, the conflict in Yemen would have caused over 377,000 deaths, with 60% of them the result of hunger, lack of healthcare and unsafe water.

11/ It says more than 10,200 children are known to have been killed or wounded as a direct result of the fighting.

Clive Palmer: The most important speech for Australia
    Apr 8, 2022

With all the millions Palmer is spending, can he not get some skilled conservative PR/marketing person to oversee the campaign? And to advise?

Palmer has previously said that he writes the UAP ads. That may be good for his ego, and it is his money. But if he wants to see results and wins, he needs to get in professionals. He can well afford that.

That Press Club speech is labelled the most important speech for Australia. Craig Kelly is sitting there, in a slouched/casual pose chewing gum or whatever, as if he is just an observer, not the leader of the party. Palmer rambled on about the economy. Instead of one issue, he should have split his speech on a number of important topics, including freedom.

The campaign is not for the benefit of the UAP supporters who understand the issues, and do not object to Palmer and Kelly. The focus has to be on getting the swinging voters, and for many Clive and Craig are not draw cards. Can’t they find one or more candidates or party members who will attract the undecided?

There were questions on the money Palmer has and what he will be spending. To some people that will sound obscene – people are struggling to pay bills, and here is someone talking about millions to spare. He should handle the subject of the money he has, a bit more carefully and sensitively.

Clive Palmer has his own agenda for his involvement in this election. Whatever it is, it can’t be worse than the Lib-Lab-Nat-Grn traitor coalition. If the UAP and other freedom parties can break the monopoly and get enough balance-of-power seats in both houses, that will be the best outcome we can hope for.

There was a question about a pro-Putin supporter. Palmer said he was expelled from the party? Who was that? Is it Aussie Cossack or someone else?

My take on cats is that they are permanently annoyed they can’t eat their owners. They see themselves as a top predator and humans are just oversized meat burgers. It is made worse as they have to be friendly to get food from humans. Except when torturing a mouse or lizard, they are in a state of domestic humiliation. I was at a Italian restaurant in the early 90’s and the place was starting to go south. The bloke who got me the job as pot washer left after a few months of me being there when the family owners situation became intense; constant arguments.

One particular evening it was on for young and old. Brother and sister just went ballistic. Brother had a carving knife in his hand and just launched into a tirade against his sister…I cannot remember the exact details as to what triggered it. I remember their mum just bursting through the doors to the kitchen and bear hugging him to restrain him whilst in his mental state. It scared the living sh*t out of me. I actually bolted for the back door.

It eventually calmed down, however, all the customers just got up and left. You have to understand this was a massive family barney and it rattled me to the core.

Had a good time at the place with their mother teaching me how to cook pasta sauce and fresh pasta…but FMD, I thought I was going to be involved in a crime scene. Got on my bicycle with an umbrella, getting abused from all the night revelers in Northbridge as I peddled home in the rain.

The place eventually folded. Anyone who was in the restaurant at the time would have been scared sh*tless.

    This clip is tame.

United Australia Party not preferencing Greens

United Australia Party Chairman Clive Palmer affirmed today the party would not be preferencing the Greens in the coming election, describing media reports to the contrary as fake news.

Mr Palmer said that at his National Press Club address this week he had responded to a loaded question from an ABC journalist with a tongue-in-cheek reply, noting that the Greens had never been in government so were not directly responsible for the nation’s debt.

“I made a tongue in cheek remark because I was responding to an ABC journalist that, like the ABC, I may preference the Greens before the others. The fact of the matter is the party executive has unanimously agreed that the Greens will be last,’’ Mr Palmer said.

Mr Palmer made it clear in the original exchange that Labor, the Liberals and the Greens would occupy the bottom three places of United Australia Party how-to-vote card.

“The comment has been taken wildly out of context and twisted by some media outlets. It is nothing more than fake news,’’ Mr Palmer said.

“The notion that United Australia Party would preference the Greens is as ludicrous as them giving preferences to us,’’ he said.

Mr Palmer has already affirmed that neither the Liberals, Labor, Nationals or the Greens would appear on the party’s Senate preference ticket.

“Each individual voter determines how they order their preferences. How-to-vote cards are simply a guide from each party – all the power rests with the voter,’’ Mr Palmer said.

“All United Australia Party members, supporters or undecided voters can rest assured that the United Australia Party will not be preferencing The Greens.”

My battle against the cashless society is to shop, wherever I can, with cash.

The supermarkets and some of the stores have reduced the Cash payment self-serve checkouts in the past two years. The goal being that people will switch to cards.

Sometimes, I have to wait for the Cash checkouts to be available, and it would be easier and quicker to just use the Card checkout. But I think waiting in the queue for a few extra minutes is a small price to pay, to let the stores know that Cash is still a mode of payment and it should be retained.

Mt. Ebal “Curse Tablet” Discovery: Bigger Than the Dead Seas Scrolls?

We can only ponder the significance of this discovery. In ancient Israel the Israelites, then united, gathered to reaffirm the blessings (on Mt. Gerizim) and the curses on the opposite Mt. Ebal.

The united tribes of Israel separated many years later and formed into two groups, the House of Judah (today’s Jews) whose capital remained in Jerusalem, and the much larger House of Israel (or the House of Joseph) whose capital was Samaria.

The House of Israel were exiled by the Assyrians around 800 BC, and they were relocated to the fringes of the Assyrian Empire in Anatolia, around the Black and Caspian Seas, and Persia. Many had already left the land of Israel and they established a Mediterranean empire based at Carthage.

These people eventually migrated westward and their descendants are now found in western Europe, Scandinavia, the British Isles and around the world in the Anglosphere.

These people are still subject to the covenant and they have received the promised blessings, does this discovery at Mt. Ebal signify that the time of the curses is now upon us?

which confirmed the splitting of the rock and said that it may have cracked because of rain and freezing temperature.

“It’s natural, so it can’t be helped, but it’s a shame because it’s a symbol of the local area,” said one local.

Looks like some scratch marks on the inside of the boulder.

    *spooky*

Became quite a sprawling interview due to Zuby being low info on Ukraine.

Deliberately oblique to avoid woketard flak?

Zuby seems to give a lot of whistleblowers a platform – kudos.

You won’t recognize the nine tail fox as it is disguised as a red haired woman with almond shaped eyes and a mischievous smile. Like this

I took a Rapid Antigen Test a couple of hours ago.
    Test result positive.
Saturday I was feeling like I would develop a heavy cold, something I always dread as the common cold always knock me around.
Went to bed last night with the shivers, woke up in a ball of sweat, but now back to feeling about 90%, with a bit of a tickle left in the throat.
Obviously being unvaxxed and shaking this off so quick is good news.
But then Gladys warned that you can feel fine in the morning and be dead in the evening. Thanks Gladys, I’ll bear it in mind.

This is a rather damning criticism of nursing in the UK.

    *******

    Doctor Vernon Coleman:

    Where Nursing Went Wrong.

Traditionally, nurses are beyond criticism. They are ‘angels’ and they have always received a ‘good press’. But nurses have changed. And they have changed a good deal. The result is that today’s nurses are nothing like their predecessors. If they are to be forced back into doing what they should be doing then they need to be criticised – and their shortcomings need to be identified.

The big problem is that today’s nurses are too self-important to carry out any of the traditional tasks entrusted to nurses. Modern nurses don’t like to bother much with caring, touching, feeding or comforting. They regard themselves as above collecting bedpans or plumping up pillows. Nurses are now too self-important to feed patients or to lift them and too protective of their past to let anyone else do these things either. It is a tragedy that as nurses have become too important to nurse, no other group has been allowed to take on the most essential caring tasks. Auxiliaries, for example, are not allowed to do anything with, to or for patients and the result is that there is no one on the average hospital ward to wash, feed or care for patients…

mh might be idea to get flu vaccination though. A bout of flu can put a person off work for at least a week. Also it is completely safe, nothing to worry about in the future, and actually prevents an illness. Just like a vax is supposed to be.

Been through same a fortnight ago.
    Stock Moronic variant?
Double Frankenvaxxed (AZ), as you can’t get work as a contractor without it, even though I likely had the Wuhan variant from Chatswood back in January 2020.
Seems you can’t get an AZ booster without referral from a GP – some Big Pharmas are more equal than others?

Daughter says she’s been recommended NovaVax as a booster alterative to the Pfizer that did all the damage.
