    Witch-hunt: E. Jean Carroll

    I hadn’t followed this case or paid much attention for it. As I understand, it was a sexual allegation case by a woman named E. Jean Carroll against Trump.

    Trump says he had never met the woman. But:
    Giuliani says: It was sexual assault, not rape.
    Work that out – sexual assault is okay. And it can happen if the accused person says he has not met the accuser.The case ended with Trump having to pay Carroll $5 million.

    Most people in this situation will be advised by their lawyers to keep their mouths and opinions shut in public. If you are in your home with trusted people, go ahead and spew your anger and say what you want. But, sadly, Trump can’t keep his mouth shut or his thumbs off his phone. So he said what shouldn’t have been said and ended with a defamation case. The verdict last week: he has to pay Carroll $83 million + other damages.

    Sounds over-the-top and excess amounts for a defamation case.
    So how did this happen?

    Con Inc media and grifting influencers will be telling you how unfair and unjust it is. And if you only read these sites that view Trump as god, you will believe that it is a witch-hunt against an innocent man, a victim. But if you want the truth, try to read other sites as well. The lefties will say that Trump is the villain. Read more and you will find the facts in between the two sides.

    I watched a video with this explanation.
    The most important people in a courtroom are not the lawyers, prosecutors, victim, spectators etc. The most important people are the 12 members of the jury.

    The jury members are paying close attention to what is taking place in the courtroom. They are listening to what is said and done and how the people involved behave and react. Good lawyers will coach and warn their clients on every possible situation/question and advise them on how and what they say and do.

    Did Trump have a lawyer capable of dealing with this case?
    And would he listen to any advice given to him?

    He believes he is above everyone and doesn’t have to care about what he says or does. His Maga followers will bow to him and applaud him no matter what. The rest of the world doesn’t work that way.

    A Newsweek analysis of FEC records found that between February 2022 and June 2023, Habba’s New Jersey law firm, Habba Madaio & Associates LLP, received $3,586,350 from Save America and Make America Great Again PAC, two Trump-aligned political action committees.

    This is Feb 2022 – June 2023, we don’t know what adds up in the seven months after.

    Following the verdict, Maga was full of praise for Habba who was treated so badly in the courtroom defending the god etc etc etc. Habba posed for photos which got tweeted and retweeted in Maga world.

    Easy to throw out allegations. Except when they backfire.

    What happened at the trial? In point no 2/ above, I mentioned the jury and their role. As well as how a client and lawyer need to prepare for a case.

    But over all, that is the story.
    Why am I laying it out? For truth-seekers.
    The headlines in Con Inc media, and I suppose in Maga world, would have been how unfair the left is, and the witch-hunt and so on. Decide for yourself.

    I have not followed the case and the details. I do not have enough info to make a judgement. Carroll may be telling the whole truth, she may be lying totally, or there may be parts that are true and parts that are false.

    The case I have laid out is not about Carroll.

    Trump and Maga are calling it a witch-hunt and blaming everyone else. Sure, it is in New York and the decks may have been stacked against him. There may be jury members and judges who are left-leaning.

    But, say, it was a similar case of a Conservative man facing this accusation. If the client had a good legal team and followed their advice, it would have played out differently. He should have left it to his lawyers to handle it and kept out of it. At least publicly. He wouldn’t have ended up with the defamation cases and the $83 million payout.

    The jurors could have had doubts about Carroll’s testimony. But watching the drama from Trump and his team – in the courtroom, outside it, on social media, plus the deposition – would have changed their minds.

    The United States military has launched air strikes against targets in Syria and Iraq in the first retaliation for a drone attack that killed three soldiers at a remote US base in Jordan, US officials confirmed following media reports.

    Australia offered two squadrons of retired F-18 Hornet fighter aircraft to Ukraine, the Ukrainians said they didn’t want “Australia’s flying trash”.

    Later on they changed their mind and said they wanted them but Australia had already scrapped them.

    I wish I knew that we were scrapping these aircraft, I would have loved to have one sitting in my driveway.

    Here’s some very interesting information about the downfall and jailing of Imran Khan from Professor Sachs. Apparently Khan told the US Ambassador to Pakistan that Pakistan was a neutral nation that wanted to have good relations with the US as well as Russia and China.

    Neutrality isn’t acceptable to the US State Department.

    Don’t know if this happened in real time or is a skit to deliver a message.
    This is the education that should be taking place in schools and unis. It is also the method that should be used in discussions and debates.

    This is utterly brilliant. A student accuses jk_rowling of being transphobic. This teacher skilfully dissects the claim and challenges it by asking questions.

    He teaches not what to think, but how to think critically.

    A few comments:

    – Who is this teacher and can he teach other teachers how to be teachers?

    – Let’s build an AI version of this teacher. Duplicate him as many times needed and have everyone learn and understand “how to think”, not “what to think”.

    – This teacher seems to be going beyond teaching critical thinking, into deprogramming from a pervasive herd mentality. His skill is in giving the student room to reason without feeling attacked

    – This guy is absolutely brilliant, now that’s what I call a real teacher, he teaches people to think for themselves.

    Gus has restabilized, but we had to take the meds back up that we weaned through the night. He’s hypertensive, but stable. Please continue to pray that our team is able to address his vasoplegia effectively going forward. This kid is puzzling! Thank you for praying, friends.

    It doesn’t need much explanation. It is the Dems who have been making allegations against Trump, issuing indictments, interfering in the election process, trying to keep him off the ballot.

    Now, we see that the witch-hunts (or the claims of them) against Trump come from the Democrats or the left-side. We can say that these are untrue, not fair, unjust, interference and so on.

    But the ones instigating the hunt are on the Dem side. They are the political enemy of the GOP and they are doing what they can, by fair means or foul, to win. May not be the right thing to do, but at least they are doing it to their “enemy” on the other side of the political divide.

    Until around September 2022, DeSantis was this great governor of Florida. Then, because he didn’t bow down and give Trump what he wanted, RDS was put on the black list. And so did his Magadonians.

    Just a few days before the election in November 2022, when DeSantis was focussed on his re-election not the Presidency, Trump started on his petty attacks with the nickname DeSanctimonius. He didn’t care that the party he belongs to needed to win the election in Florida, he couldn’t place the party over his own need for revenge; he would probably have been glad if the GOP lost Florida. Without this party, he wouldn’t have had the privilege of becoming the President of the US.

    When RDS “endorsed” him last month due to the pledge he had signed, Trump claimed that the nickname would now be retired. It was like a school yard bully who will kick up trouble until he gets his way.

    Recently, we’d been informed that Charles the King would be having surgery and were given details about it. Yesterday, we hear the news that he has cancer but get no details on that. Also, he has started treatment, but no details on that either.

    When I hear the news that someone is ill, my response is to wish them a quick recovery.

    But skimming through social media has raised some questions. Is it just a coincidence that we hear the news about Charles and his cancer this week, and only a few days before that we’ve been reading about this?

    Kremlin confirms Carlson has interviewed Putin

    Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US journalist Tucker Carlson on Tuesday for an interview, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a daily media briefing on Wednesday. The American had announced the imminent release of the footage hours earlier.

    The Russian official declined to say when exactly the public will be able to see the interview and would not comment on its contents. He noted that being an American, Carlson was neither pro-Russian nor pro-Ukrainian in terms of his attitude to the Ukraine conflict, which is expected to be the focus of the interview.

    Nonetheless, Peskov pointed out that the interviewer’s position contrasts with the one that dominates Western media, which is why the Kremlin had granted his request. The Kremlin spokesman added, however, that Carlson is wrong when he claims that Western news outlets haven’t bothered to seek an interview with the Russian leader.

    Western mainstream media cannot claim “even the appearance of impartiality” on Ukraine and “all have a one-sided position,” Peskov explained. Moscow has “no desire” to communicate with them and doubts that anything good would come out of it, he said.

    Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that Carlson will likely publish his production on Tuesday, citing “people familiar with the matter.”
