83% have had one jab and that’s only those over eighteen.
It says to me that our 80% fully vaccinated targets are unnecessary and not supported by real data.
The Doherty model is an educated guess at best. You can’t actually model people’s actions in society as they change with circumstance and need.
The assumptions behind this model should be thoroughly scrutinised. This won’t happen of course.
The Model is now the undeniable medical Quran of government.

”…the only vaccine passport they [US] worry about is the one for overseas holidays.”
Except for New Yorker’s, who need to present proof of vaccination to enter a bar, or a restaurant, or a concert, or a shopping centre et al. Nor can the venue look the other way – failure of the venue to check is also an offense with a multi-thousand dollar fine. Nor can those with a medical reason for not getting the vax claim an exemption.
California is doing the same, as well as DC and other left leaning strongholds.
Of course, Floridians have it much better – vaccine passports are illegal, and mask mandates for schools are illegal, while schools there never closed.
Texans are not quite at the level of Floridians, but also have laws against vaccine passports.
Which may go some way to explaining the exodus from NY, with the Gov considering buying up housing “on the cheap”, together the massive influx to FL and the concomitant housing shortage and house price increase. And the unemployment levels in those states too – NY being about 3 times higher in unemployment than FL.
What it doesn’t explain is why it’s racist to ask for ID when you want to vote, but perfectly fine to demand ID and personal medical information if you want to buy a meal – despite the fact that black people are massively underrepresented in the vaxxed stats.
What it doesn’t explain is why we are following the NY protocols here rather than the FL ones, when NY is near the top in deaths/100k (2nd, IIRC), while FL is in the middle (25th IIRC), and our climate more closely matches FL than NY.
“Get the vaccine to protect yourself and those you love” – sure, just ask the 50 TX reps who fled the state to prevent a quorum, and flew to DC. They were vaxed and got COVID, apparently on the flight. Or Gilbraltans, who despite being 99+% vaxed are seeing a surge of Delta variant cases – the same vaxes that will “get us out of it” here, where we have… a Delta outbreak. Ditto Israel (albeit, a lower vax level, but still >80% in adults).
“There’s no treatments that work on Delta” – sure, ask India. That’s where that variant came from, and they seem to have smashed it pretty flat with “the treatment that shall not be named”, and are even talking about charging WHO people with a capital offense for misleading health information resulting in the deaths of thousands.
None of this is secret, all of it is well disseminated on the net and easily verified. Yet other than perhaps Alan Jones on Sky, is completely ignored by the MSM. Instead, the MSM produce a mountain is fear porn, fail to fact-check the pollies and CHO’s, and fail to even ask any hard questions at all – questions like “Given a significant proportion of health care workers are vaccine hesitant, why have we not done an RCT on preventatives like IVM and HQC during the 18 months since this pandemic started?” and “Given the novel nature of the virus, why have there been no OCT trials of various anti-viral drugs to evaluate their effectiveness?”. Or even “Do you have any evidence that cloth face masks reduce the spread of this virus in asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic cases, and if not why are you mandating their use?” Or perhaps “Do you have any evidence that outdoor spread of COVID is other than minimal, and if not why are you mandating mask wearing outdoors?”
I’ll tell ya why – journalism is dead. It’s all churnalism now. All fear porn and click-bait, no investigative journalism required or wanted – at least by the owners. Not until public opinion changes, which they know it won’t while they continue their click-bait “if it bleeds, it leads” fear porn. With a very few exceptions, mostly low volume news outlets like Epoch Times.

It’s convenient for historians to have specific events that we can pin a tag on, but the nature of the withdrawal from Afghanistan is a symptom of collapse rather than the beginning of it.
The US has been white-anted over decades; the veneer of power, authority and at least a modicum of competence was there for a while but the substance had been consumed.
The fall of Afghanistan is like someone taking a screwdriver to the rotten timber and stripping it away, revealing the decay within.

At the moment, Scommo is toast at the next election. He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but he has some political instincts. The Libs would already be doing private polling and he knows he’s in deep trouble with such a thin majority
He will be praying for ~80%+ vaccinated by the end of the year, promises to re-open international borders in, say, January/February and the state premiers to play along and not shut state borders/lockdowns. Plus, that Australian’s have memories like gold fish.
He needs this to be just a bad memory. He must call an election no later than July but that leaves him no ‘wiggle’ room and he will be wedged by Labor. Notice how Labor are remarkably silent = small target. Don’t interrupt your enemy when they are making mistakes.

Police have arrested multiple protesters and deployed pepper spray in Melbourne as hundreds of people took to the streets to protest the state’s Covid-19 lockdown.
The “Freedom Rally ” protest began at midday, with rallies also planned in every other state capital except for Hobart.
Members of the majority maskless crowd chanted “sack Daniel Andrews” and “no more lockdown” while beating a gong and cheering.
Some of the protesters held signs criticising the lockdown and various government decisions.
One sign read “say no to the vaccine” while another read “no health advice, no compliance”.
A heavy police presence was on Bourke St and around Parliament House, with officers stopping people as they walked across the road.
Police have also blocked off some CBD roads.

The government made this a “crisis” so that they could “fix” it – all for political gain. Labor leaders knew it and played along, incidentally increasing their powers to warlord status along the way.
Now it has blown up like an exploding cigar – inevitable to any sentient being, but somehow eluding the Big Brains of the PM and NSW premier.
So they have done the only thing that irreparably stupid people can do – they have doubled down, hoping for a mysterious circuit-breaker. Something tells me the vaccines aren’t going to be it.

They will agree with generalised statements such as for every Catholic Church Brother or Priest they charge, there are about another nine they do not feel confident with evidence beyond reasonable doubt to do the same. For every charge laid there are about another nine charges there is not sufficient evidence likely to have a jury concur and agree to the guilt of an accused.
Usually the reason why the relatively small number of criminal charges versus complaints is the difficulty in getting witnesses and/or vicitims willing to cooberate allegations. Mainly for fear of social and community repercussions in the form of labelling, stigma and ostracisation.

What a bigoted lunatic. You are literally making stuff up and have no other proof than…”quick, someone agree with me!”…
No one will agree with you. There are retired and serving cops who comment here and NO ONE has supported your ridiculous, know nothing lies.
There are now a growing number of Catholic priests who have been acquitted after police let some complainants habitually make false statements and perjured themselves. There was a recent case in Goulburn where an accuser made the false accusation against a priest who wasn’t at the school/camp at the time.
That’s the *quality* of some of the “strongest” 10% of accusations – then we have a false accusation problem, not an abuse problem, dummy!
John Cain III, Milligan, Kidd, Waller, Wallington, the perjuring ex cop DI Fox and “Jay” should be in the dock for their crimes.
If less than all indictments lead to a conviction…(some are overturned) even with our now utterly ruined jury and evidence system, then the accusations the cops don’t bring forward are weak as piss.

True, there have been attacks (Insiders) but not as prolonged or as sharp as they could be under the circumstances. Labor have a problem in that Dan, Palacechook and McClown are all Labor and are the most rabid of the lockdown gang but Labor would be getting private polling and they know that Morrison is highly vulnerable. When the time comes, it will be all about the money spent and budget blowouts, businesses closed, losses to tourism and hospitality sectors (+ jobs) in particular, farmers needing international pickers and other staff……long list.
For now, let Scommo and Co take all the crap.
And I take your point Calli. But as we know, the ‘double down’ path often carries enormous risk and unless there is some divine intervention in the next few months, the state premiers and their CHOs will derail (whether deliberately or otherwise) any phoenix-like rise by the Libs. The creation of the National Cabinet and allowing the Premiers to get the upper hand was blindingly stupid.
Separately, I’ve often wondered whether the Libs have been ‘white-anted’ by Labor Party operatives or whether the Libs are just stupid and act directly opposite to the advice they have been given. Hard to be sure which it is, but I can’t help sometimes being in disbelieving awe of the stupid policy and/or comments made by the various Lib Ministers. 11.3 Pediatric Use Sotrovimab is not authorized for use in pediatric patients under 12 years of age or weighing less than 40 kg. The safety and effectiveness of sotrovimab have not been assessed in pediatric patients. The recommended dosing regimen in patients 12 years to less than 18 years of age, weighing at least 40 kg, is expected to result in comparable serum exposures of sotrovimab as those observed in adults based on an allometric scaling approach (which accounted for effect of body weight changes associated with age on clearance and volume of distribution).
11.4 Geriatric Use Of the 430 patients receiving sotrovimab in COMET-ICE, 20% were 65 years of age and older and 10% were over 70 years of age. The difference in pharmacokinetics (PK) of sotrovimab in geriatric patients compared to younger patients has not been quantified.
11.5 Renal Impairment No clinical trials have been conducted to evaluate the effects of renal impairment on the PK of sotrovimab. Sotrovimab is not eliminated intact in the urine, thus renal impairment is not expected to affect the exposure of sotrovimab.
11.6 Hepatic Impairment No clinical trials have been conducted to evaluate the effects of hepatic impairment on the PK of sotrovimab. The impact of hepatic impairment on the PK of sotrovimab is unknown.

COVID-19, original or Delta variant is known to be infectious for 3.5 days before a person with it has any symptoms, but in that respect it is actually no different to many other infectious diseases. For example:
Chicken Pox – infectious 2 days before rash appears
Measles – infectious 4 days before rash appears
German Measles – infectious 7 days before rash appears
Mumps – infectious 5 days before swelling appears
Bacterial Meningitis – infectious 7 days before any symptoms

It’s not about white anting, left or right etc. It’s ONLY about the Uniparty and hoodwinking the proles into thinking that there is a great deal of difference between them once they gain power. There are some differences yes, for example Scummo is holding out on global CC commitments but here again, with the nazi Prems going full green and completely screwing up our economy with high energy prices, the effect of a green Federal Govt is being replicated in our pockets.
As the election draws nearer, I expect Scummo will increasingly bend left even more closer to our scumbag Prems positions. Yes and don’t forget that all parliamentarians boost their paypackets so even a basic backbencher’s pay of around $215,000 is boosted by electoral allowances and by getting on assorted committees. There would be very few being paid <$300,000 per annum.
Beyond that, many ‘rent’ a property whilst in Canberra for the parliament sitting days and other official business. So, parliamentarian ‘A’ pays $350 per night to stay in a self contained unit that just happens to be owned by company X of which his/her spouse is the sole director. All legal and as common as dog poo.
Other than having to deal with a few pesky constituents, life as a backbencher could be fairly sweet. Of course, if you want to earn some real money, become a shadow Minister…..

Sotrovimab is another EUA medicine.
《There are limited clinical data available for sotrovimab. Serious and unexpected adverse events may occur that have not been previously reported with use of sotrovimab. 》
https://www.sotrovimab.com/
And click on FACT SHEET – HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS
This shit is never going to end”
From the fact sheet:
“LIMITATIONS OF AUTHORIZED USE
• Sotrovimab is not authorized for use in patients:
o who are hospitalized due to COVID-19, OR
o who require oxygen therapy due to COVID-19, OR
o who require an increase in baseline oxygen flow rate due to COVID-19 (in those on
chronic oxygen therapy due to underlying non-COVID-19 related comorbidity).
• Benefit of treatment with sotrovimab has not been observed in patients hospitalized due to
COVID-19. SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibodies may be associated with worse clinical
outcomes when administered to hospitalized patients with COVID-19 requiring high flow
oxygen or mechanical ventilation”

struth,
what is the alternative?”
..
The alternative is building parallel structures within society of like minded people.
The courts, the parliaments, the institutions, the SYSTEM is rotten through and through.
Give it all up, drop out, tune in, drop off.
Stop supporting any of these farcical things.

That information is incorrect.
Thousands at the melb protest – police could not act in the situation.
Only after 2 hours when the rally was ending did mobs of police discover their mettle to target small bands of their fellow citizens.

You can take Tugendhat MP’s Afgan speech with a grain of salt if you wish, but he was speaking from the perspective of the sense of loss experienced by all who served in the disgusting sewer.
Not good enough for perpetual bitch Ella Whelan. “No granting of emotional space for you (insert pejorative here) warmongers”. “Afghanistan is not about you, it is about women”.
Hard to understand how she can be so consistently awful.

I’m on duty tonight. Starting the prep early.
Kale, fresh raw parsnip and brussel sprouts salad with a wheat grass and parsnip puree drizzle.
Served with a cheeky Kombacha Tumeric extract.

Interacting with any of the Australian parliaments will change the nature of your friends in the LDP more than your friends in the LDP will change an Australian parliament.
That’s what corrupt and dying institutions do.
Why don’t you constitute an alternative parliament?
Like a new stock exchange, or a new union.
Write a new covenant invite the people of Australia to join it.

I used it as a lead in for someone to point out where the freedom protestors were in Brisbane.

After their appalling and despicable efforts last year, I don’t consider any of VikPol fellow citizens at all. It’s crystal clear they are our enemy and the Govt is at war with us all. It’s been years since our Govts actually represented us.

FMD, urban bugthing sprays it pheromones around a gruinaid thread hoping to attract like minded insects.
Article is the usual shit of conflating the actual anti-vax movement with those who despise lockdowns and those who are distrustful of this particular vax.

I could work from home without question, meaning I did not have to call in sick if I was feeling too low to face people.
I could hide my wonky face behind a mask when out in public.
I could hear and breath once again, in my usually beleaguered inner city neighbourhood.
I could see a positive change in perspective within society, as people realised what was important – which was not buying unnecessary stuff.
I could appreciate that the planet had a small chance to recover with the pause in unnecessary human activity.
I miss those early few months.

I’ve told family on the force to quit or f*ck off! He didn’t like being called a member of the Stasi.
If he gets prosecuted in the future for aiding and abetting this crime, long may he languish if jail.
That didn’t go down to well with his wife.
