New South Wales government ministers are calling new advice on how to behave in workplace “PC insanity,” after they were told to quit using the word “mate.”

I’ve bookmarked that for later viewing. My own health experiences have taught me the importance of consuming salt (good quality sea salt).

We keep being told – salt bad. That is not true. Unless a person has a specific medical condition and has to keep off salt (sodium), cutting down on salt can have negative effects on health.

    Forever wars come to Europe:

Zelensky meets Pelosi and Adam Schiff. Lucky guy!

U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi made an unannounced trip Sunday to Kyiv, Ukraine, where she met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Video captured the moment Zelenskyy met the Democratic delegation, which included Reps. Jason Crow, Jim McGovern and Adam Schiff.

Zelenskyy shook the hands of each congressional representative, telling the group: “You all are welcome.”

During a recorded meeting later in the day, Pelosi affirmed the United States’ commitment to helping Ukraine.

“We believe that we are visiting you to say thank you for your fight for freedom. We are on a frontier of freedom and your fight is a fight for everyone,” Pelosi said. “Our commitment is to be there for you until the fight is done.”

Zelenskyy tweeted after the meeting: “The United States is a leader in Ukraine’s strong support in the fight against Russian aggression. Thank you for helping to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state!”

What is George Christensen’s career plan?

He worked well with Craig Kelly during the Covid scam. Then, he said he was quitting politics. He gave his farewell speech.

    Then, he quit LNP.

Then, he told us he has joined One Nation because their policies are aligned to his. He only realised that after his farewells?

If he had made his decision earlier, he could have run in his seat of Dawson for One Nation with a good chance of winning that seat. Now he is number 3 on the Senate ticket. Not a high chance of winning that, but he will get around 105,000 for losing.

The decision to run from an unwinnable position – rather than retire – would entitle Christensen to a $105,000 resettlement allowance available to MPs who lose in their bid to return to Parliament. He said that was not his motivation.

He says it is not about the money. Will he donate that money to a worthy cause?

No, he said as he was elected as a member of the LNP, he wouldn’t change sides mid-stream. He was in the National Party, he said that the Liberal / National Party merger was wrong.

Just a guess, but I suspect that he took that position to bolster Pauline’s chances of re-election. Depending how the Queensland Senate election goes, it might end up a tussle for the sixth seat if the LNP and Labor parties win the first five places. Then it’s a battle between Pauline and Clive for the sixth spot. George is highly respected among a lot of voters so he signed up for an unwinnable position to bolster Pauline’s chances against Clive. That’s my guess anyway.

Last year, George Christensen said that he would be retiring from politics and returning to journalism. He also said that voters had elected him as a member of LNP and he would stay with the party.

But, months ago, he could still have carefully looked at the options and decided to stay in politics and join OneNation after the term ended. He could have announced his resignation from LNP and joined OneNation without the farewell.

The MSM has simplified this war as one side bad, other side good. But there is a history behind this, and unless we are prepared to be open to learning, we will stay small-minded and ignorant.

In the interview Jacques Baud says:

The underlying thinking is that we can only achieve peace if we have a more balanced view of the situation. To achieve this, we have to go back to the facts. Now, these facts exist and are abundantly available and accessible. The problem is that some individuals make every effort to prevent this and tend to hide the facts that disturb them.

    Faces of the Forgotten:

    STORY:

Edith Howard Cook was a child that died at the age of 2 years 10 months. Her cast iron coffin and mummified body were found in 2016 during a home renovation project in San Francisco, California. At the time of the discovery, her identity was unknown. However, it was known that the modern residence was atop the former location of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows cemetery, which was in use between 1860 and 1901.

The Odd Fellows cemetery was initially on the outskirts of the growing city of San Francisco, but was closed around 1903 and all bodies were exhumed in the 1930s to make way for new residential neighborhoods. Nearly all traces of the former cemetery, including headstones, were removed at that time.

An archaeoforensics investigation was able to identify her name using genealogy, mapping, stable isotope, and DNA analyses.
