I can’t post overt there for some reason but my first thought was “while all the time they’re f***ing us over”. Some people want him as PM. We don’t need any of these people as MPs let alone PM.

    South African traveller in Howard Springs quarantine tested for new Omicron COVID variant, as Katherine moves from lockdown to lockout

    Separately, another case of COVID-19 — a traveller from South Africa — has been recorded in the NT from an international repatriation flight that arrived on November 25.

    Ms Fyles said health authorities were still waiting to find out if the person was carrying the new Omicron variant of concern.

    The United States, Canada and parts of Europe joined the United Kingdom in tightening border restrictions around citizens returning from parts of Africa and temporarily banning foreign travellers from entering their countries.

    The Omicron strain has now been detected in Belgium with an unvaccinated traveller testing positive on Friday afternoon who returned from a trip to Egypt via Turkey.

    Israel confirmed it recorded a new case with the variant in a vaccinated traveller who returned from Malawi.

    Omicron is now detected in 9 African countries.
    Plus Belgium.
    And Israel.

    Maybe Australia.

    It could well have been travelling to other countries before it was detected, this week. Just like Delta, we will be told it is all under control and the case is in quarantine.

    Then, a fully injected person will catch it and pass it on. And we will be back to QR codes and lockdowns till 95% of population gets Injection Boosters Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6.

    Rossini, it will be watch and wait to see how these Vaxx Passports actually work, long-term.

    Your case, today, was a flat phone. There will be places with poor reception. Then, there’s poor weather causing lines to go down. Some times people rush out to pick something and leave their phones at home or in their cars.

    Businesses will have to decide how many customers they are going to turn away.

    Petitioner has sought prosecution of AstraZeneca’s (Covishield) manufacturer Bill Gates, his partner Adar Poonawalla and other Government officials and leaders involved in the murder of a 23 year old man, who lost his life because of vaccination. The deceased took the Covishield vaccine by believing in the false narrative that the vaccine is completely safe and also owing to the compliance requirement set by the Railways that only double vaccinated people would be allowed to travel.

    The Government of India’s AEFI (Adverse Event Following Immunisation) Committee has recently admitted that the death of Dr.SnehalLunawat,was due to side effects of the Covishield vaccine. The said report has exposed the falsity of the claim made by vaccine syndicatethat vaccines are totally safe.

    The filings have begun. Once the trials start, there will be more cases joining in.

    Mr Morrison said the legislation would “ensure that Australians are safe online,” and hold tech giants accountable.

    Is it the safety of children that he is concerned about? Or is it now about building “safe spaces” for adults?

    There are cases of harassment and bullying and defamation that need to be tackled. But otherwise, if adults can’t deal with trolls and bots and bigots, they should avoid the online/digital world.

    The only problem from the sexting “scandal” should be a private one:
    How Tim explains his behaviour to his wife, whether she accepts it, and at a later stage questions from his children. But they wouldn’t have had any way of knowing about it, if it had been a private, personal issue not one played out in the media.

    If the naming convention is following the Greek alphabet so as not to discriminate against the country of the variant origin, why did it jump from Mu to Omicron and skip two in-between?

    So it was Mu (Mooo as in the public are dumb cows?) and now Omicron which means they are morons?

    Why did the cowards skip Xi? Wouldn’t that have been fitting to the country where this began?

    Oh dear, do they have fainting couches over at D’over cat?

    Birdy would love Veritasium’s latest, as an Oz Engineer said on his YouTube assessment of the puzzle – it’s a fundamental physics problem, not Engineering, he’d probably enjoy the thought experiment.
