He who must not be named. It appears the W.H.O. has skipped the next Greek letter after Nu to name the new variant. The next letter is Xi. The concern is that W.H.O. is again avoiding any discomfort for the Chinese government. So they named it Omicron…
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Friday that Israel is “on the threshold of an emergency situation” after authorities detected the country’s first case of a new coronavirus variant and barred travel to and from most African countries.
Israel launched one of the world’s first and most successful vaccination campaigns late last year, and nearly half the population has received a booster shot. Israel recently expanded the campaign to include children as young as 5.
The Salvation Army has followed the lead of other woke organizations in entering the establishment media-manufactured race war and is asking donors to offer a “sincere apology” for whiteness, as detailed in a resource guide “developed to guide The Salvation Army family in gracious discussions about overcoming the damage racism has inflicted upon our world.”
The Salvation Army’s International Social Justice Commission crafted the guidance, which seeks to urge donors to “understand and acknowledge the definitions of race and racism and how the social construct of race has affected society” and ultimately “lament, repent and apologize for biases or racist ideologies held and actions committed.”
Separately, another case of COVID-19 — a traveller from South Africa — has been recorded in the NT from an international repatriation flight that arrived on November 25.
Ms Fyles said health authorities were still waiting to find out if the person was carrying the new Omicron variant of concern.
The Australian government has banned flights entering into the country from nine African countries with residents returning forced into supervised quarantine as more cases of the Omicron variant are reported in more countries.
South African government officials have described the response of countries that have put flight bans in place, following the emergence of the new coronavirus strain, as “knee-jerk and draconian” while early investigations were still underway.

The Omicron strain has now been detected in Belgium with an unvaccinated traveller testing positive on Friday afternoon who returned from a trip to Egypt via Turkey.
Israel confirmed it recorded a new case with the variant in a vaccinated traveller who returned from Malawi.
Did anyone see the Bob Katter video were he alleed7 of his office staff were vaccinated ,2 died 2 are crippled for life 2have ongoing medical problems and the 7th staff member is in ICU!
Was it a bad batch ? or is Katter lying? I strongly suspect the latter .
Omicron is now detected in 9 African countries.
