I’ve put together what I imagined would be a fitting end to the final episode of Better Call Saul 6×13 – Saul Gone. Combining all 3 main characters’ endings in a final farewell to the Breaking Bad universe, accompanied by ABBA – The Winner Takes it All, the song Jimmy and Chuck sang in Season 4 of Better Call Saul.

Better Call Saul & Breaking Bad are some of the best TV I’ve ever seen, incredible work!

I did this as my appreciation for the series, I’m not making any profit from this video nor own the rights to this media.

Vaccines Never Prevented the Transmission of COVID

In late 2021 and early 2022, it was commonplace for journalists and public intellectuals to demonize and shame “the unvaccinated,” a group that in the United States was disproportionately low income. The New York Times ran pieces like “I’m Furious at the Unvaccinated,” and “Unvaxxed, Unmasked and Putting Our Kids at Risk.” The Los Angeles Times published a column titled “Mocking anti-vaxxers’ COVID deaths is ghoulish, yes—but may be necessary.” An opinion piece called “The Unvaccinated Are a Risk to All of Us” appeared in Bloomberg, and The Washington Post printed a piece called “Macron is right: It’s time to make life a living hell for anti-vaxxers.”

Hancock Prospecting has announced it is withdrawing its netball support.

The company issued a statement on Saturday announcing the decision.

“Hancock and Roy Hill do not wish to add to Netball’s disunity problems, and accordingly Hancock has advised Netball Australia… that it has withdrawn from its proposed funding partnership effective immediately,” the statement said.

“Roy Hill, majority-owned by Hancock, will also be discontinuing its sponsorship arrangement with Netball WA… to be the principal partner of the West Coast Fever.”

    Little Brother:

Jane is an activist, best-selling author and a Nobel nominee who speaks out against the tyrannical government of Iran. She has been persecuted in the past and is now an ex-pat, but when she travels back to Iran to gives a no-holds-barred interview on TV, the very government she speaks out against decides to take action.

Little do they know, however, that Jane has a powerful weapon at her disposal. And with its aid, Jane will throw the latest salvo in the war against oppression, exposing the secret actions of the government in a way no one anticipated.

Written and directed by Cyrus Saidi and Gautam Pinto, this short sci-fi thriller plays for high stakes, blending incendiary dialogue, committed performances and provocative ideas in a fast-moving, ambitious narrative. It charts the rise and fall of an activist committed to speaking out at any cost against an oppressive government that commits human rights violations with impunity.

The film has a visual sleekness and coolly futuristic sheen, with dynamic camerawork and a chilly color palette, but ultimately this is a story of ideas, using the centerpiece of a high-profile media interview to explore its main character’s rhetoric of freedom, rebellion and revolution. Interwoven throughout the interview are detours into Jane’s dark, haunting memories, mixing past and present along with Jane’s inner landscape and her actions in the world, particularly as they rub up against the government’s growing repression against its people.

Actor Natalie Brown plays Jane with a righteous conviction, with a steeliness at her core. She’s charismatic, and we can see as an audience why she serves as the face of opposition to terror. When she makes a crucial choice — essentially a sacrifice — in service of her cause, it’s believable even though it is extreme. After the bombshells of her high-profile interview, she faces yet another interrogation — and another sacrifice to make for her beliefs.

Thought-provoking and engaging, “Little Brother” was shot in 20–. But it resonates with current events now, with political rebellion fomenting in Iran, proving that the film’s heroine and her rhetoric of rebellion and revolution are almost prophetic in their power. But, taking advantage of its non-linear storytelling, the film is also astute in examining the role of technology in exposing the corruption of the system and those in power. The ability to capture and then transmit almost instantly evidence of political abuses of power has ignited many recent revolutions around the world, including current-day Iran. Though surveillance can be turned against people, its tools can also be appropriated for justice and truth — and keeping the flames of hope alive, even when they seem to be dying out.

    Sponsor hypocrites back off

Article courtesy of Guest Author Clinton Wolf, the managing director of National Indigenous Times and non-executive director of Madalahof the National Indigenous Times, and the National Indigenous Times.

He would have to be indigenous to hold all those titles.
A few sections of the article:

The subsequent hypocritical negativity from critics against Hancock Prospecting being a sponsor is puzzling to say the least.

There are a number of Indigenous charities doing their absolute best to ensure that Indigenous students have the best possible chance of succeeding and making a better life for themselves, their families and the wider community.

Madalah Ltd is one of those Indigenous Children’s Charities.

Madalah was particularly grateful when at the instigation of Mrs Rinehart, the Roy Hill Community Foundation developed the Hanrine Futures Program and approached Madalah to partner with them in supporting Indigenous kids to secure scholarships.

The Roy Hill Community Foundation quickly committed to a multi-year, multi-million-dollar funding arrangement to ensure that many Indigenous kids could now have the opportunity they so desperately needed.

Did Madalah agonise over partnering with Mrs Rinehart and her companies, absolutely not.

Many of the students who were provided scholarships are Traditional Owners of land on which mining activities are taking place and it is their families and communities urging the students to take advantage of the opportunity of a lifetime.

Madalah is not going to throw Indigenous children’s futures away because of criticism of our sponsors by individuals or entities that have their own agendas.

Madalah does not have the luxury of callously disregarding the hopes and dreams of young Indigenous Australians.

    That outcome is completely unacceptable.

There has been much criticism of Mrs Rinehart because Lang Hancock was her father.

Since when do we judge someone because of who their parents are or were or what they said?

What people perceive about someone is often the exact opposite of who that person actually is.

Axalp delivered again! We had some surprise visitors from the Italian air force in their fifth generation F35 Lightnings. They dropped into the humid air in the mountain and showed us how they Vape.

I’ve also included the high speed pass from the Swiss Air Force f18 demonstration with schlieren effect. The memory of 1:59 in the video is something I will treasure.

A male lion named olobor attacked a hyena clan that had surrounded him. Olobor showed the characteristic of a fearless male lion even though he was outnumbered. The hyena clan was trying to defend its territory from the fearless male lion but instead they lost a clan member trying to defend their territory in vain.

If anyone is following that bloke’s ride from Perth to Cape York on the back roads, he’s just put out another video. He finally got to the tip of Cape York in his previous episode, he’s now on the return journey.

In this episode, he travels from the tip via some back road to Cooktown then on to Cairns. He drops his bike in a creek at one point but it didn’t do any damage.

That rainforest country up north is quite remarkable.

That bloke who is riding from Perth to the tip of Cape York on all the back roads has put out a new video. He arrived at the tip in the last episode, he’s now on the return journey.

He rode from Cape York via some back road to Cooktown, then on to Cairns in this episode. He dropped his bike in a creek but it didn’t do any damage fortunately.

That rain forest country in FNQ is quite spectacular, I don’t think I’d like to camp out there though in the open with cassowarys walking around in the bush.

Depends on the sim, but if done correctly could show, in the absence of war, eventual economic collapse.
Just like taking the other side in an air combat sim.

3 days of deliberations on a case with no evidence (Drunkney Hoggins). FMD. Mind you, I was a juror on a histerical sexual assault case which was thrown out by the judge on day 2 as there was no evidence. We were in and out of the court room every few minutes. Even in early jury room conversation some were convinced of his evil. “Where did he touch her that was sexual?” we asked. Didn’t matter so convinced are the poisoned minds and those with personal experience.
