I wouldn’t mind Avi’s, he’s about 7′ tall. I put on a lot of talks back in the day ( Lord Monckton twice, Anthony Watts, Bob Carter, Jo Nova etc) and always emphasised security. Never had any problems. Today the alarmists are more emboldened but I think I would have a few ideas. But really public talks do shit, as do one or 2 sceptic pollies; money and media are the 2 essentials and sceptics have neither.

Hello Dr. Frank Gilroy., M. D.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, new rules now apply for workers needing to travel to and from a local government area (LGA) of concern and for people travelling outside of Greater Sydney. You now need to register your travel if you:

are an authorised worker from a LGA of concern and need to leave the area for work
are a worker entering a LGA of concern for work
need to travel 50kms outside of Greater Sydney.

To register, log into or create a MyServiceNSW Account. You will need to provide your:

contact details: name, address, email and phone number
    travel details and dates
dependants name and phone number, if applicable.

When complete you’ll receive your travel registration by email.

You must carry your email confirming your registration when travelling as you will need to provide this to NSW Police if requested.

New vaccination requirements for authorised workers

If you’re an authorised worker from a LGA of concern and you work outside your LGA from Monday 6 September you will need at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to work.

Rapid antigen testing will no longer be an alternative to getting a COVID-19 vaccine.

You are not required to follow this rule if you:

are an authorised worker under 16 years old
    have a medical exemption.

Priority bookings are available for a COVID-19 vaccine. Book your vaccination appointment by selecting the option below that suits you:

    > Authorised workers who live in a LGA of concern

    > People aged 16-49 who live in a LGA of concern

    > Childcare, disability and food workers who live or work in a LGA of concern

    Get vaccinated on Super Sunday

If you’re 16-49 and live in a LGA of concern, book your Pfizer vaccination now for this Sunday to help beat COVID-19.

Wear your favourite sports team’s uniform or gear and take a photo in front of a selfie wall to post on your local club site with the hashtag #vaccinationchampion.

Sports Super Sunday vaccinations are available at:

Sydney Olympic Park – Qudos Bank Arena NSW Health Vaccination
Sydney Olympic Park – NSW Health Vaccination Centre
Macquarie Fields – South Western Sydney Vaccination Centre
New freedoms for those who are vaccinated

If you’ve had both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, you will be allowed more freedoms from Monday 13 September. If you live:

outside of a LGA of concern, outdoor gatherings of up to five people (including children) where all adults are fully vaccinated will be allowed in a person’s LGA or within 5km of home
in a LGA of concern, households with all adults vaccinated will be able to gather outdoors for recreation (including picnics) within the existing rules. This is in addition to the one hour allowed for exercise, outside curfew hours and within 5km of home.

If you haven’t booked in for a COVID-19 vaccine, please book an appointment as soon as possible. If you’ve had your first dose of AstraZeneca more than 4 weeks ago, contact your vaccination provider to discuss bringing forward your appointment.

Empowering and Supporting Local Communities Grants

Community organisations and local services are best placed to know what their local communities need.

If you are a local community organisation or group, you are now eligible to apply for funding between $10,000 and $30,000 for projects that support vulnerable members of the community.

The grants program aims to increase COVID-19 testing and vaccination rates in affected LGAs and decrease the transmission of COVID-19.

Applications close 5pm Friday 3 September.

Yesterday evening Gab received a letter from the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Protest at the United States Capitol.
You can read the letter here.
By way of further background about our company, Gab exists to promote freedom of speech, by which we mean all speech which is protected speech under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. No more, no less.
Accordingly we have a zero-tolerance policy towards threats of violence and unlawful speech. As to controversial but nonetheless legal speech we believe, as Justice Brandeis did, that “sunlight is the best disinfectant, electric light the most efficient policeman.”
We have been boycotted by virtually every company in Silicon Valley because of our adherence to this moderation policy. In their zeal to bend to “woke” political agendas or outside pressure groups, our contemporaries in the Valley forget the social importance of letting off steam and of exposing bad ideas, and bad people, to public scrutiny.
As we are a free to use online publishing platform, it is inevitable that criminal actors will seek to abuse our services, as indeed they abuse all online services. We work hard to ensure that our services are denied to these bad actors.
For example, in the lead-up to the inauguration, we were made aware of a number of accounts which sought to spread division and fear through the use of unlawful threats. All accounts of this type that have been discovered have been banned on discovery, including at least one account which published threats against a number of U.S. election officials and was the subject of significant media coverage, including media coverage which incorrectly stated that we failed to take action against the subject account.
We look forward to getting in touch with the Committee in the coming weeks especially given the recent news that the FBI has found “scant evidence that the Jan. 6 event at the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.”
    Andrew Torba
    CEO, Gab.com
    Jesus is King

We anticipate that responding to this letter will cost a significant amount of money for legal expenses. If you would like to help us cover these costs we would appreciate you making a donation or upgrading to GabPRO to support us.

    Davey Boy @11:01pm.

The behaviour of the PM had stumped me throughout this whole overblown “emergency.” I’m not saying I had any real respect for him or thought him a standout before any of this, but since the beginning, he has steadfastly refused to criticise any of the Premiers or wanted to stand clear of them; in fact his stuck to them like glue.  See,  his refusal to go to the HC over the Palmer WA border closure case, which has seen him look weak and emasculated.

Initially, I thought this attitude was that he wanted to spread the authority far and wide so he wouldn’t be blamed by the electorate- the National Cabinet thingy ad a smokescreen for actual responsibility.

But after reading that article, I’m now wondering if advice sought from the Solicitor-General or other law officer of the Commonwealth meant that he’s known all along that the Federal jurisdiction on bio-security is circumscribed whereas the NSW legislation (and presumably the other states as well) is sweeping.

So Morrison hangs behind them knowing full well that the Federal laws could never have enabled these draconian controls- effectively, the state legislation is providing the Federal Govt cover.

That would be motive enough for him not to criticise or pressure the Premiers.   Under that scenario, his behaviour and attitude toward the states makes perfect sense.

And, Indolent, on no claims to date against the state; me too.

‘Two people have died in Japan after having received doses of the Moderna vaccine from a batch that was suspended as a precaution after some of the vials were contaminated with unknown foreign material.

The victims were men in their 30s, each of whom received their second Moderna doses from one of three manufacturing lots that were suspended on Thursday, the Health Ministry said on Saturday. An investigation into the cause of deaths is underway.

Japan’s rollout of more than 1.63 million doses was halted after the vaccine’s domestic distributor, Takeda, alerted the government about the foreign material discovered in 39 unused vials. All contaminated doses were manufactured at a Madrid factory run by a Spanish firm Rovi, which said that the vials in question belonged to a batch exclusively shipped to Japan.

The composition of the foreign substance was not immediately clear. However, Japan’s TV channel NHK reported that some doses were contaminated with metal particles, citing Health Ministry sources.’

Not long after another man also taking the short cut and fell in the same grave. Like the first guy he tried desperately to free himself. The first guy got tired of watching him and spoke up. “You’re wasting your time, you’ll never get out of here”. ……………But he did!!!

One day three men are out having a relaxing day fishing, when suddenly they catch a mermaid. After hauling the mermaid up in a net, she promises that if the men set her free, in return she will grant each of them a wish.
The first man doesn’t believe it so he says, “Alright, if you can really grant wishes, then double my IQ.” The mermaid says, “Done” and suddenly, the first man starts to flawlessly recite Shakespeare and analyze it with extreme insight.
The second man is so amazed, he looks at the mermaid and says, “Triple my IQ.” The mermaid says, “Done” and the second man starts to recite solutions to all of the mathematical problems that have been stumping all of the scientists in various fields from physics to chemistry, etc.

The third man is so enthralled with the changes in his friends, he
says to the mermaid: “Quintuple my IQ.” The mermaid looks at him and says, “You know, I normally don’t try to change people’s minds when they make a wish, but I really wish you’d reconsider.”
The man responds, “Nope, I want you to increase my IQ times five, and if you don’t do it, I won’t set you free.”

“Please,” said the mermaid “You don’t know what you’re asking…it’ll change your entire view of the universe. Won’t you ask for something else… a million dollars, anything?”
But no matter what the mermaid said, the third man insisted on having his IQ increased by five times it’s usual power.
So the mermaid finally relented and said, “Done.”
The third man became a woman

    And that’s a short list.

I suspect that one or two readers here recognise Molesworth, possibly who even who do not have university degrees, you snob.”

This typically unpleasant, fixated (her old hopelessly misapplied ‘nouveau riche’ ‘snob’ trope again) and foolishly wrong comment about what I write, made by Johanna, comes after she had lobbed into Dover’s New Cat proclaiming with her usual arrogance that the New Cat would sort-of ‘do in lieu’ to drop her load of the usual banal commentary on life in main street Queanbeyan as the Dash Cat was down.  The usual suspects then piled in here re her specious outline above.   I am glad that they seem to be self-coralled in here rather than polluting elsewhere.

I had happily admired her reference to one Nigel Molesworth, whom I stated I had got to know aged eleven at school in England.  Hence, clearly no university degree required to comprehend the reference.  An eleven year old could do it.  I also encouraged her to stay and comment further on the New Cat, for it is a fact that discussions there are more wide-ranging, discursive, less intense in conspiratorial focus, and thus suited such personal anecdotes and enjoyable ‘Nigel’ references as Johanna was making.  Both fora, in my view, have their own strengths and weaknesses and I am happy to move between them, as many do.

Johanna, lacking subtlety as she does, and ever on the ready to take offense, read far more into my innocuous commentary than was warranted.

Talking Heads put it best: ‘same as it ever was’.

Has anyone in any position of authority in Australia happened to mention that this test is being phased out?’

Nope, it’s just another of those inconvenient truths that our polliemuppets pretend not to know about and the compliant MSM never mentions, for the Greater Good.

The polliemuppets have had more positions than in the Kama Sutra over the last 18 months, and every time we are coerced by the State to fall into line with the latest brain-fart.

It reminds me of Lucy with the football – honestly, Charlie Brown, this time will be different.

If the masses knew just how often they have been lied to the whole house of cards would collapse in moments. Thanks to social media censorship and the MSM, they don’t.

    Shouldn’t the PCR test rule?

The PCR test should be binned.  The CDC has admitted that it’s not fit for purpose

That’s the tools the pollie muppets are using.

Antibodies is a secondary test IF you test PCR positive.

If “self isolating” Interstate, you’re still subject to PCR testing several times during that fortnight.

Precisely, so if you’re “self-isolating” with the common cold, you’ll be stuck there until you test negative.

The media are building the story Biden is a tough hero, talking tough about ISIS-K.

He disregarded Trump’s treaty with the Taliban that American soldiers would be protected in the withdrawal, if that withdrawal was conducted by 1st May.

Trump had a plan for the withdrawal and Biden threw it in the bin and only thought about it about 2 weeks ago.   Too busy trying to get little girls to sit on his lap.

So some unknown Afghans are being drone killed and being called ISIS-K terrorists to save Biden.

I think that sums it up?

It must be concerning to Americans that attacks may occur in the States due to Biden’s incompetence.

Public school enrollments down 3% in the US this year.

    Kindergarten enrollments down 13%.

If those trends continue public schools will soon face a funding shortfall and will have to begin to sack teachers and support staff.

Meanwhile, in QLD, in a policy decision that could have been drafted by the teachers’ union, the government has just banned the publication of school “league tables” which ranked schools by academic performance, claiming parents should not take a school’s academic results into consideration when considering where to enrol their children.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. But the abuse, intimidation and naked hate have no place in our democracy. There were mothers with children calling our prime minister “a f***ing asshole”. Come on people, we can do better than that.

The FDA, the CDC, major media & others hope you’ll believe them when they tell you that IVM was meant only for animals, & that it’s dangerous to use for C19. You know what the worst thing is about such a bald-faced lie? It’s knowing that your life just wasn’t worth the truth.

Yup, total baldface lie. One use is for eradicating elephantiasis parasite in ones system. I had it on a number of occasions returning from regions with the disease as a precaution and on medical advice. Never a problem side effects wise.
