People thinking they are the modern equivalent of the White Rose are more delusional than Frostie.
Frosty’s rantings about those historical events have reminded how much.
Poor poor pitiful meing.
——————–
Rosie, sweetheart, you’re not the one to call others delusional, love.
If you feel the urge to tell someone they’re delusional, please, do it in front of a mirror.
For the record, other than making me extremely angry, the government actions have not impacted me personally.
Pre-covid I was pretty much a hermit.
I actually go out more now than I did before covid – to be non-compliant.
I’ve not worn a mask, used a QR code, signed in, had a jab, stayed home, or otherwise obeyed any socialist edict.
Nor have I suffered financially.
So there’s no “pity me” in that equation.
No – I’m driven by anger.
Anger at those who seem to have unravelled the success we had in WWII, after serving in which my Dad lived out his life in pain and with ill health.
He’d be rolling in his grave right now.
And I’m driven by an urge to wake the sheeple up that we need to stand up to tyranny and be prepared to defend our gullible old ladies, like Rosie, who seem unable to think clearly because of the adrenalin from the fear response coursing through their veins.
We forgive our women for their fear for it is natural.
It also makes us very proud of our women who overcome their fear to stand with us or behind us in support roles – as the situation requires.
So, Rosie – how about making some sandwiches?
The men and women posting flyers this morning will be hungry upon our return.
The least you can do for our protection is play a small supporting role.

Gripping new podcast starts today
The Australian today launches a new podcast, Yuendumu: The Trial, covering the murder case against a decorated young cop for shooting an Indigenous man in a remote outback community.
EXCLUSIVE
Claire Harvey

@chmharvey
12:00AM August 9, 2021
RACE, violence, justice and two young men’s lives: these are the explosive elements that will make the murder trial of policeman Zachary Rolfe the most significant court case of the year.
Today The Australian premieres a new podcast — Yuendumu: The Trial — providing daily news, analysis and insights as a Darwin Court decides whether to imprison Rolfe for life.
Rolfe shot dead a young Aboriginal man, Kumanjayi Walker, during a 2019 arrest for assaulting police and breach of parole.
Walker, who had already threatened police with a machete, attacked Rolfe and his partner with scissors; Rolfe pulled his Glock and fired three shots in a matter of seconds and Walker died.
Four days later Rolfe was charged with murder, in the shadow of the global Black Lives Matter movement and against a backdrop of deeply entrenched intergenerational disadvantage in Yuendumu, one of Australia’s most famous remote communities.
Co-hosted by investigative journalist Kristin Shorten and Sky News’ Matt Cunningham, with special guest appearances by The Australian’s Northern Correspondent Amos Aikman and produced by multimedia editor Lia Tsamoglou, the podcast will begin with a two-part scene-setter on Monday 9 August and Monday 16 August, before the trial commences on Wednesday August 18, with an estimated duration of three to four weeks before the jury retires to consider its verdict.
A new episode will be available every morning, wherever you get your podcasts.
For the first week of trial the podcast will be available in The Australian’s mobile app and free on all platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Play.
From Thursday August 26, the podcast will be exclusively available to The Australian’s subscribers via our app and website.
Subscribers will also have access to our unrivalled coverage of the trial and its ramifications, including Aikman’s up-to-the-minute reports from inside the Supreme Court in Darwin.
We will take audiences from the courtroom to the outback, with special reports from Yuendumu and gripping multimedia packages, plus expert post-trial analysis and reaction from the families and supporters of both young men.
We will explore the verdict’s impacts on remote communities, tactical policing, remote emergency medicine, politics and race relations in Australia, putting the shooting and its aftermath in context for a global audience.
The stakes are high: Rolfe faces a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment with a 20-year minimum term behind bars if convicted of murder.
Rolfe faces two alternative charges: manslaughter and violent conduct causing death.
Manslaughter in the NT carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment but no mandatory minimum sentence. The other charge, violent conduct causing death, carries a maximum sentence of 16 years but no mandatory minimum.

AFLD’s
1. They are not acting like vaccines, according to the common definition of a vaccine.
The investigational COVID-19 vaccines were granted emergency use based upon reducing symptoms only and not based upon preventing transmission of SARS CoV2. Once the trials are completed, Moderna October 27, 2022 and Pfizer January 31, 2023, the data will be analyzed and at that time it may be possible to know if either or both vaccine candidates reduce viral transmission. There has never been a situation where a vaccine candidate was rolled out to millions of healthy people under such a bizarre set of facts.
2. The experimental vaccine only lessens symptoms.
The effective rates reported of 90% or above, refer to minimizing the symptoms of COVID-19, not immunizing you against the SARS CoV-2 virus. That is why the CDC is still recommending wearing the mask after you take the experimental “vaccine.” You are still at risk of getting the virus. It is similar to taking Tylenol to reduce the pain of a headache not a cure or avoiding of the headache.
3. You do not need to be vaccinated if you have already contracted COVID-19.
Typically people who catch an illness develop natural, life-long immunity and there is no reason to think SARS-CoV-2 is different in this regard. Persons who already had COVID were excluded from the initial trials (which is strange given that they now recommend it to people who already had the illness.) There is evidence the covid vaccine might actually be more dangerous for persons who have already had the illness in that they seem to develop an exaggerated reaction to the vaccine.
4. The experimental vaccine uses new technology never before used in a vaccine.
All current and past vaccines use antigens, something the body detects as foreign to us. In total contrast, some of the COVID-19 vaccines use modified RNA to program our cells to make an antigen. Then, after our cells make the antigen, our immune system fights against it.
For the first time, the immune system is trying to attack something our bodies have made. Will the body consider it “self” or “foreign?” This needs to be studied dispassionately and carefully before dispensing to millions of healthy people worldwide. We know autoimmune disease will occur as it always does in some percentage of standard vaccines. But we are concerned it will be in much higher percentages with this new technology.
Understand, you are agreeing to be in a medical study when you take any of the COVID-19 vaccines.
5. The “vaccine” may make you sicker than if you hadn’t taken it, especially the elderly. The vaccine may cause a paradoxical reaction, called ADE Antibody-Dependent Enhancement. These enhanced antibodies are extremely dangerous to people as they actually help the virus get into the cell! If the vaccinated person with ADE is later exposed to the virus, they will have a much more serious reaction than if they hadn’t taken the vaccine. Studies show that the elderly may be more prone to ADE.
The previous unsuccessful attempts to create a vaccine against SARS-CoV1, MERS-CoV and RSV, all coronaviruses, all failed due to this antibody-dependent enhancement, or ADE.
6. Inflammation at the placenta of pregnant women who receive the vaccine have been reported. Caution if you desire future pregnancies.
The “vaccine” is designed to create antibodies to attack the viral s-protein. That protein is very 5. The “vaccine” may make you sicker than if you hadn’t taken it, especially the elderly. 7. There are effective, safe, affordable prevention and treatment medications for COVID- 19.
During the pandemic, well over 250 studies have shown that hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin is a safe effective affordable medication to prevent and treat COVID-19. Additional supplements including Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Zinc and Quercetin have all been found to beneficial in the treatment of COVID-19.
For the cost of over-the-counter supplements, and a generic medication, usually less than $25, the majority of people can be treated. We know it makes much more sense to take medications that have been used billions of times across the world, that have been FDA approved for decades with unimpeachable safety record, than to try an experimental new technology.
The non-Western world uses hydroxychloroquine liberally and enjoy 1% of the COVID-19 death rate of Western nations.
8. Deaths due to COVID-19 simply do not justify the use of any “experimental vaccine.”
We now know the death rate for COVID-19 in all ages in the US. According to the CDC, the chance of surviving SARS-CoV-2 without any treatment at all: age 0-19 (99.997%) 20-50 (99.98%) 50-69 (99.5%) and >age 70 (95%.) 80% of deaths are over the age of 70 with an average of 2.6 other serious medical conditions. Only 6% of deaths occur in persons without known serious problems. The average age of death of a COVID-19 patient exceeds the average national life expectancy. Thus, most of the reported COVID-19 deaths died with COVID-19 not from it.
The death rate is very low for most people, similar to the seasonal flu. Would you be willing to take an experimental medication that reduced symptoms only for the flu? We should focus on the high- risk groups for deaths from COVID-19, those 70 years or older with multiple diseases.
9. The known risks of vaccines can be serious.
Vaccines currently available have reported known risks including neurological diseases such as transverse myelitis, Bells’ Palsy, multiple sclerosis, autism, and Guillain-Barre. These have already been reported with the new COVID-19 “vaccines.” The FDA limited the Phase 3 trials and shortened the traditional trial periods and now, the entire world’s citizens are the subjects of the study.
We are administering the vaccine to people at low or exceedingly low risk of death. These risks need to be known and weighed before someone decides to take the vaccine.
10. The experimental vaccines should be compared to other therapeutic medications to accurately determine their risk vs benefit.
Whenever you take any medication, ask yourself, is the risk of taking this medication worth the benefit? If the “vaccine” can only lessen symptoms, it should be compared to other medications that do the same, like Tylenol or hydroxychloroquine.
The latter two win the risk vs benefit comparison hands down.

Israel experience vs vaccine freedom hype.
Beilinson Hospital near Tel Aviv. “The unit has 16 beds, but the treatment of coronavirus patients requires isolation, protective gear and staff turnover – so now we have only 10 beds for the rest of the patients.”
She notes that transforming the internal medicine wards into coronavirus wards reduces the number of beds available for other patients by at least 38.
Patients in even worse condition need the ECMO machine: about 250 coronavirus patients so far, nine in the current wave. “The first patients in this wave weren’t vaccinated, and slowly vaccinated patients began arriving who needed an ECMO,” said Dr. Yigal Kassif, the head of ECMO services at Sheba Medical Center and the head of the Israeli ECMO society.

Thanks for pasting that.
I usually reserve judgement on these type of matters until I’m able to gather more information, but I am curious about the prosecution case. I don’t know about N.T. law, but is the pre-requisite for murder not proving intent (to the jury at least)?
It’s very obvious what the salivating ferals in the mesozoic (print) media are trying to do; using the same old tropes and language.
The phrase fired three shots in a matter of seconds is both provocative and absurd at the same time. When you are being attacked, you’re not going to fire three shots over a period of hours, are you?
I know we’ve had the debates on here about the stopping power (or otherwise) of a .22. While I’ve never been in such a critical situation, I am familiar with how fast people in an abnormal state of consciousness can advance and close the distance. It’s a matter of blinking, and suddenly you have to make a decision about how to respond. Again, I emphasise that I’m not talking from a law enforcement experience, but I imagine that momentum would continue to propel the assailant toward you, even after deploying (if you were quick enough) a non-lethal or lethal response.
Having written the above, there may be evidence we the public are not aware of, but I have no doubt those media animals are staining their pants at the thought of it all. Regardless of the outcome – which will be positive for no-one – they will flog themselves silly emphasising their role as a vital filter for which the dregs should be grateful. A vile, parasitic infestation that needs to be (metaphorically, of course), scoured with acid. The sooner the mesozoic media realises its irrelevance, the better.

This apposite and deserves repeating.
A vaccinated person is, as a consequence of their decision, in an irreversible frame of mind. Once the vaccination has been injected into a persons body, there is no turning back; the Rubicon has been crossed, the event horizon closes, there is no retreat. Any conversation or debate about vaccine efficacy or long-term consequences with a person who has accepted the vaccine must be weighed accordingly.

Notafan nobody cares that after pretending for six months you weren’t going to get the vaccine you immediately went and got the vaccine.
It’s that at every step of the way for the last 18 months, when someone says “they’re going to do X next’, you mock, hen peck and cloroform any discussion about it, then when X, and Y and Z happen, you pretend you were always against X, ignore Y and Z and carry on.
So for example a couple of weeks ago, I said, based on what we’re being told, we’re going to be in a (always planned) situation where unvaccinated people aren’t allowed to leave their houses while vaccinated people can. Vaccine passports are going to be the authentication and enforcement mechanism for that social order. You called me ‘hysterical’.
Today: Although Ms Berejiklian has shied away from implementing state-wide mandatory vaccines, the premier has suggested incentives – such as the ability to work – would be offered to those who roll up their sleeves. . Aka unvaccinated people won’t even be allowed out to work.

Indeed but it seemed like a timed hit, I’m trying to figure out if there was a reason for it to be published at that moment. Seemed political.

UPDATE: after telling my work I would not be able to comply with the mask mandate, I was called back to work by my manager the next day who said that they did not want to lose one of their best employees, and that I could return to work without a mask. They will be having a company wide meeting about it on Monday, so this may only be temporary, but I think it’s a HUGE win! Since taking my stand, DOZENS of other employees and whole departments have also started refusing to wear a mask, and they may now make the mask mandate optional for all employees. Even people in the kitchen have stopped wearing masks all together despite the order still being in place. Sometimes it just takes one of us taking a stand to make a difference! Don’t be afraid to push back, especially if you also have health issues relating to masks and vaccines.
Courage is contagious and I pray any of you facing the same situation I was finds the courage to stand up for your values and your God given rights so that others may be inspired by you too. It seems like the government has all the power but they don’t, we the people have the power and if we choose not to comply or consent to be governed by people who restrict our rights—WE WILL WIN!

Not sure about “winners” yet, Gilas.
Those with skills kindly gave their time and efforts to give the Cat another life. This forum is not without its problems. I can’t help comparing it to the “Clockmaker” theory of creation, where God wound the whole thing up and just let it run. Won’t work. Tom says it best up thread. I would like to see one of the talented Cats give AdamD some support and bring the site* up to scratch technically.
And, as he has a job, perhaps take on some form of moderating/troubleshooting function.
There I am, acting as if I’m still recruiting tradies and structuring a business. 😀
* as for Nilk’s site, it may work quite differently – I haven’t been there since my first attempt to enter.

‘Tis a slippery slope, my friend.
I used to at how endearingly childish it was to see people use emoticons in Teams chats.
Then I allowed myself to respond with a ‘thumbs up’ or ‘smiley face’ and found scrolling back how many times I did.
Then I clicked on the emoticon icon and saw there were armies of them. I immediately closed it because I new I would fall prey to ‘puking’ emoticons, ‘exploding bombs’, ‘brain surgery’ ones.
It is an ongoing struggle. No matter how long you abstain the hunger remains as demanding.
You just have to take it, one day at a time.

I can only add to that, that it is reasonable to wonder about the motivation of someone who so prolifically & viciously attacks those who not only are against having The Jab, but even those who share information that calls for more cautious study before putting faith in Governments’ ever changing & contradictory mandates.

That’s a qualified agreement from me.
I suspect that these individuals are tolerated because of the misapprehension that with patience and rationality, they can be reasoned with, and their behaviour modified. It’s akin to teaching a goldfish to use a vacuum cleaner.

If you want to see how the government nudge ‘messaging’ sausage is made, someone leaked a ‘guide’ from the “UK Behaviour Change Unit” sent out to ‘help’ everyone involved in talking to the public, broken down by group into how to best manipulate them to accept vaccination.
Behaviour Change Unit, in partnership with PHE
and Warwick Business School Optimising Vaccination Roll Out – Dos and Don’ts for all messaging, documents and “communications” in the widest sense
Just in case you thought the government was speaking to you candidly, no. One message, from everyone, all at once, carefully tailored by behavioural psychologists just for you, appealing and manipulating your ‘pride’, ‘altruism’, ‘egoism’, etc.

Funny you should mention that….
I understand that the change in rule for those who work all day in an office environment is causing many problems. The punters are not happy and are letting their management know.
Consequently, the management are whinging to Qld Health who say there is nothing they can do but pass on the comments.
We’ll see how this goes but there is plenty of disquiet from those who must now wear a mask all day.
By the way, I know of one organisation that has told their office workers they may work from home for the next 2 weeks such was the pushback by those office workers.

Another couple of cases appears and this lot maybe another Greek letter strain , and back into lockdown we will go . How can businesses survive another closing down not too many likely to get through this one in Victoria ?
I also think builders who have been caught in the combustible panels replacement orders to fix in 2 years. will go under, so more devastation .

Those “anti vaxxed” are the bulk of Australians.
Those that are vaccinated are so in the minority that it’s fantastic to think only 14% of the population are demanding the other 86% of the nation be refused their rights.
That you hear from them and not the unvaccinated proves how one sided the media are and how fanatical that small minority of noise are.
Keep it up suckers, keep it up.

Society respects the unvaxed’s decision, but it gives them consequences when they start impinging on others’ freedoms.

They keep it all bottled up inside, instead of confronting a problem immediately.
Then finally they explode.

For some, it was. They sincerely believed they would contract a deadly disease and die unless vaccinated. I would place my parents in that category.
Others have co-morbidities that they were told would make them highly vulnerable, eg. The Beloved.
Others still think that by being vaccinated they will “stop the virus”. These are people if goodwill who trust the government and believe the msm. They are not old or infirm, simply altruistic.
Then there is the final group – those who are happy to receive vaccination on the promise that they will get something they previously took for granted as a reward – freedom. These are the ones I have the least time for as they will be the ones who turn on the recalcitrant and blame them as the stick dangling the carrot gets longer and longer.
All of these types are mirrored here.
