    Greg Hunt just announced imminent availability of monoclonal antibody treatment designed for the onset of Covid 19. Fantastic, although they are not without side effects, as I understand.

    But the CMO also referred ever so briefly to the anti-viral “pill” which is currently being developed & hopefully available soon. THAT is the game-changer.

    Fantastic to see Greg Hunt have the guts to announce these, given the mania for vaccination by his colleagues. A good man.

    Ruprecht, the moment when Ellie, a Jewish woman, asked Frosty, an anti-semite, to contact Sinc, a Jew who has been banning Frosty for years, to contact Sinc to help them get together was one of the funniest things ever here.

    I can just imagine the phone call – on the Sabbath.

    Ring ring.

    S: Sinc here.

    Bird: Hey Sinc, it’s Bird. Ellie told me to call you to get her phone number.

    S: What are you talking about?

    B: She said she thought I might be one of her former lovers, and to contact you to get in touch.

    S: I’m not a dating agency. Go away. (Polite version of last words.)

    Brrrrrrr.

    B: (To himself) Oh well, back to the magazines and videos of white girls with a bit of a tint and prominent noses. Pity, she coulda been a contender.

    As it becomes increasingly clear that the Big Pharma vaxxes are not holding the efficacy their marketing Dept’s promised when the billion$ checques were rolling in, we now see the beginnings of alternative treatments, many already available, getting legitimate investigation for future anti-covid treatments.

    Pfizer is developing it’s oral/pill anti-viral. And more here;

    “A new study finds fenofibrate, a high cholesterol drug, can be a potential treatment against COVID-19
    The drug was found to reduce the number of virus-infected cells in the body by up to 70%
    Drug showed that it could prevent virus spike proteins from attaching to ACE2 receptors of cells and infecting them.
    Two trials are underway, one in the U.S. and the other in Israel, testing the drug as as a Covid treatment
    Fenofibrate could join the four therapies that are currently approved by the FDA to fight the virus

    Fenofibrate, sold under brand names such as Triglide and Lipofen, is already approved for use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the team is now calling for more trials into the drugs effectiveness against the virus.”

    He’s not a good man, but he is smart. Had dealings with him early in his career, and can attest that he is much smarter than the average Minister.

    What they are doing is not only avoiding admitting that they were wrong about proven remedies, but setting up a pathway for Big Pharma to make more gazillions at public expense for miracle cures that are no better, but much more expensive, than those we have already.

    Helpful to politicians, everybody wins except the public.

    I’ve always thought that the argument that bureaucrats are, in the long term, more trustworthy than politicians is pretty thin.

    You only have to look at the Left’s takeover of bodies like ICAC in NSW to see what happens when unelected bureaucrats can destroy elected Ministers.

    That argument is so thin as to be completely transparent. And, yes, much of this process has been perpetrated by cowardly politicians attempting to construct a wall of “impartiality” between them and difficult decisions (with the intent, not always achieved by the more conservative) to ensure that only “safe”, “people like them” end up holding the power. Instead, the nominal conservatives inevitably hand a bludgeon to the fascist lefty bureaucrats who gradually take over.

    Utterly stupid, if they are not willing to take the political heat, then resign and make way for those who are. But that would mean losing their places at the trough, which are much more important (to them) than the good governance they were elected to achieve.

    This crap has happened again and again throughout human history, and all this self-indulgent ‘it’s the fault of The Permissive Society/Immigration/fill in your preferred option’ nonsense is just a way of avoiding what is happening by blaming someone or something.

    We are clearly in a time of change, and what is important is hanging on to the things that will endure. That means family and friends, private property and personal autonomy.

    I’ve just been re-watching the excellent series ‘Fall of Eagles’ on youtube, 12 parts about the fall of the seemingly invincible royal houses and empires of C19th Europe.

    We are not used to what was recently common for our European ancestors. Turmoil, uncertainty, rape and pillage – we are not far removed from that stuff.

    I kept telling them that it was not about science, it was about politics and popular opinion. Some of them didn’t take it kindly. That was ten years ago, and here we are with stupid and unachievable targets about electric cars, and now Coles claims that they will be ‘carbon neutral’ soon, presumably by shunting the blame back up the supply chain.

    It was a great site, though, thanks to Andrew Montford for hosting it.

    CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH
    Note on the morality of using
    some anti-Covid-19 vaccines

    Quote:

    5. At the same time, practical reason makes evident that vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral obligation and that, therefore, it must be voluntary. In any case, from the ethical point of view, the morality of vaccination depends not only on the duty to protect one’s own health, but also on the duty to pursue the common good. In the absence of other means to stop or even prevent the epidemic, the common good may recommend vaccination, especially to protect the weakest and most exposed. Those who, however, for reasons of conscience, refuse vaccines produced with cell lines from aborted fetuses, must do their utmost to avoid, by other prophylactic means and appropriate behavior, becoming vehicles for the transmission of the infectious agent. In particular, they must avoid any risk to the health of those who cannot be vaccinated for medical or other reasons, and who are the most vulnerable.

    END QUOTE
    —————————

    Ergo: the Catholic bishops of Australia must issue a statement declaring that mandatory vaccination is illicit and immoral.

    Second: note that events have overtaken the Vatican’s statement insofar as the ‘vaccinated’ are also “vehicles for the transmission of the infectious agent.”

    In the more detailed statement on immunisation of 2005, the Vatican made clear that pharmaceutical companies must acknowledge the evil of using abortion-acquired cell lines and work assiduously to create new vaccines free of their evil taint.

    The truth concerning Covid vaccine effectiveness is being revealed again in Israel, the most fully vaccinated nation of size. A correspondent to CMN News described the situation thus — “the wheels are coming off in Israel, the most vaccinated country on Earth”.

    He was referring to a statement by Dr Kobi Haviv, the director of the Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem. Herzog is the third largest hospital in the city. It specializes in care for the elderly. Dr Haviv stated that:

    “95% of the severe patients are vaccinated

    85-90% of the hospitalizations are in Fully vaccinated people

    We are opening more and more COVID wards

    The effectiveness of the vaccine is waning/fading out”

    His statement deals with the lack of effectiveness that is becoming rapidly apparent in his hospital after only 6 months in a nation where the majority of adults have been vaccinated with the Pfizer jab.

    Firstly, let’s presume that our administrative state is merely gullible and stupid and not part of a global plan led by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum to force a world-wide financial and governmental “reset.”

    Secondly, let’s suppose that all the societal and economic destruction wrought by governments in their responses to covid was done with genuinely good intentions guided by misplaced trust in experts who were merely mistaken.

    How do we prevent such an accidental disaster of government happening again?

    Here’s my short-list:

    · replace our constitution with the US one (as amended);

    · maintain our system of locally-counted paper-only ballots and voter ID;

    · introduce citizen-initiated referenda and voter recall;

    · provide for impeachment of politicians and public servants;

    · place sunset clauses on all legislation;

    · divide the more populous states into smaller states to reduce centralisation of power;

    · limit the federal government to defence, immigration, border protection and customs;

    · reduce the public service by 50 percent;

    · reduce public sector pays to the private-sector median for the activity type;

    · delete the redundant public broadcasters.

    Each and every item on this list would be fought to the death by the administrative state – which is why we must implement these changes and more straight after the Covid Nuremberg we must now have.

    There must have been a lot of fuel lying around for a fire to do so much damage to that town in California (CP, 07/08). The fire fuel reduction methods used by our forestry and national parks people (mainly burning off in winter) are the reason we don’t usually see that sort of damage here – despite Australia’s climate being hotter on average than California’s. Australia’s indigenous people practised fire fuel reduction for millennia without the advanced technology available to Californians, so the authorities there really need to lift their game. “Local” vaccine passports (CP, 7/8) are typical of the way the left fights their global battles by adding a local face to their ideas. Every region had a young local girl “leading the way” in the left’s war on plastics recently. The covid tests are inaccurate, the vaccines don’t stop a person catching, spreading or dying from covid, and covid is just a rebranded flu. This whole drama has been about bringing in domestic “passports” to enable central government control of individual movements. We must resist this to get normal life back. We cannot comply our way out of tyranny. Joanne, Manunda
