Incidentally I read Giovannino Guareschi, the author of the Don Camillo books, somewhat quirky account of his time as an officer in the Italian army during World War Two and his subsequent internment in a pow camp inside Germany after Italy surrendered.

Naturally food was in very short supply but of course the German people were hungry too.

He believed that, until the starving Italians were liberated and made their way to the nearest German village, now deserted, in a desperate search for food.

There was food in abundance, and Guareschi admitted to breaking into a house and consuming seven pounds of sugar. I can’t recall if he did so at a single sitting. I can’t begin to imagine being that hungry that seven pounds of sugar would do.

He also mentioned other desperate men, with no idea how to slaughter an animal, cutting the flesh from living animals, such was their situation.

There might have been starving Germans but not everywhere.

Lawmakers to Grill Sky News Australia as YouTube Lifts Suspension for ‘Coronavirus Misinformation’ (6 Aug)

Sky News Australia will face a Senate inquiry after serving a week-long suspension by YouTube over allegations of coronavirus misinformation, the senator in charge of the hearing said Friday.

The news channel is due to come before an upper house panel hearing in Canberra set down for next Friday, AFP reports.

Left-wing Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young, chair of the Senate’s media diversity committee, said her panel had called Sky News Australia executives, YouTube, and the Australian media regulator to appear.

“Australians are rightly worried about the promotion and dissemination of Covid lies and conspiracy theories that put lives at risk and undermine public health,” she said.

She’s the chair of the Senate’s media diversity committee?? Oh wow! “Diversity” obviously means having nothing but green-left lies, propaganda and fake-news all the time on all channels.

Dover Beach is well worth supporting and Rafe will be posting there. I have no desire to support Monty’s site….I don’t mind Monty posting but he’s a troll who over the years has said some very nasty things…..and I can never forgive his description of George Pell…one that he’s never apologised for. As for the the Discord site, it’s okay for a little chat but it isn’t a site for any in depth discussions.

And please note,…I’m not being critical of Adam’s work….he’s been great considering that he (and we) were given such short notice about the original Cat being closed down. But I just can’t tolerate or cope with certain things…one being Holocaust denial or trivialisation of Jewish suffering over the centuries….it’s why my family left Germany and France and moved to the UK. I regard Holocaust denial as no different to those who deny the earth is round. They’re are both indisputable facts.

How did she end up naked? As described by security officer ,when she checked room about 3 in morning and not as Sam Maiden described on ABC as half naked . What was her reason for not telling someone when she left building at 10 next morning ?
After telling friend who advised her to do a Monica and not have dress dry cleaned what was her reason for doing so?
What did she think when she was called into the office after he was sacked for breaking security ?

Yes they had to declare it is over because they got subpoena-ed to court by one man fighting a covid fine, who was, strangely, representing himself.
They played silly buggers but had to admit they could not produce evidence covid existed.
This led the Province’s CMO to have an awakening.
Now there was no proof, if she couldn’t explain why she’d been tyrannising the people, she’d be in deep doo doo.
All of a sudden she’s shocked no one could prove covid’s existence, and actually apologised to the people, trying to use the “I didn’t realise”excuse.
She ‘ll still be thrown under the bus, and watch this space because I believe Alberta is not out of it yet.
    And the reason?
They’ll bury this story and people here won’t spread it far and wide in support of the truth and to help their own cause in doing so, and help Alberta stay free.
This news must be widely circulated.
And your local MP’s must know about it.
They must be asked to produce proof of covid’s existence as a seperate , deadly virus from ordinary colds.
If they can’t supply proof yet are still backing tyranny, we know who to charge in any future Nuremberg style court.

    rocinante,
Any thoughts on the price of gold currently?
Did you suggest that account to prevent losses elsewhere, or will the gold price be moving a lot higher?
    ———————————-
    Good morning mh.

I have no idea what gold price is doing currently. I don’t invest in the stuff, but I do hold some small denomination coins and ingots for if/when the shyte really hits the fan.

I suggest a GoldPass account for these reasons. First, it is a trading bank account (not savings account) with the Westpac Bank provided specifically to trade in gold with the Perth Mint. However you don’t have to do that. You can deposit money into it and simply sit on it as cash, with the added advantage of being able to convert some or all of it to physical gold with minimum fees at any time.

Second, as a trading account rather than a savings account it is less susceptible to seizure under the bank bail in provisions.

Third, the Perth Mint is wholly owned by the WA State government, and they have around $5 billion of physical gold sitting in vaults around Perth, which is currently unallocated and available to back up GoldPass accounts.

It is pretty obvious that either the WA State government acting lone, or in conjunction with the Federal government, is gearing up to introduce a gold backed crypto currency backed by the gold at the Perth Mint. I believe the GoldPass setup is the forerunner, the foundation of that new currency.

. Having a GoldPass account with funds represented as both deposited cash and a bit of physical gold means you are as protected as you can get whichever way the crooks running the country decide to go.

In the past Monty would disappear for weeks on end, only to make an appearance to ‘haha Trump’. The excuse for his absence was ‘footy season/busy running the blog’. Now you’re telling me he has time to be here, run a footy blog, work, look after his family and run the new Cat.

    Yeah, nah, not buying it.

    I’m sticking with Adam.”

All this talk of this blog or that blog, I’m never in favour of division among like-minded people, so for me this is simply an opportunity to read more blogs.

Great work, Adam, and good luck with the Bird attacks.

Is it now? Oh. I’d better cough up my two gorillas and a couple of hungie then.

That is, of course, if you can prove that I am not the owner/operator of a millennia-old multinational global marxist cabal. And that the ABS considers that prosecution would be well worth the months-long (and costly) exercise.

The worst threats are the empty threats.

Is anyone else getting an error page with this when posting?

You have reached an error page on WPX.net

If you are seeing this page, it is because there is no website installed on this domain yet. etc..

    Checked for forbidden words etc…
Any work-around ideas appreciated, Adam D?

No problem in that direction for me Gilas. I have a refresh problem with comment missing from other posters for about an hour then suddenly repopulated. C’est la vie.

    No it isn’t.
    Alberta is a perfect example.
And the idea is to show these pricks it isn’t a done deal, which it isn’t, and they may one day, have to answer for it.

It isn’t a done deal here by a long shot.
The silent majority are creating a Mexican standoff.
    The Government is aware.
And no matter what, letting them think they are totally in control is not a good move.
The government is at war with the people.
    That’s just a fact.
Either we fight or we die.
How we fight is why I am here and I am open to all suggestions, but doing nothing is surely not an option.
Yes, I agree we have to wait until the majority have had enough, something I was criticized for suggesting, but now, as the fear goggles are being removed around the nation and people don’t want the jab, …….it’s obvious that more don’t than do, they’ve got problems.
They need to know about Alberta, and they need to know we know about Alberta.
