    Getting worse for PaedJoe

I’ve just struggled through a John Houston film the Kremlin Letter (currently free on yousetube). It is about the intelligence service and written by an ex member. The fundamental job of all the intelligence agencies is to find (or fabricate) some deep dirt on everyone and use that as power. This completely fits with Biden, Epstein, Robert Maxwell and the rest and why they are so infuriated with Trump. I sort of knew this, but the film truly exposes their MO. I now wonder about our politicians and public service czars.

    IMHO.

For referenda, accept only either ‘yes’ or ‘no’, nothing else, as per the legislation.

For elections, optional preferential voting (number as few or as many as one wishes) should be permitted. (The Uniparty will never allow this, of course!)

In both cases, it is not compulsory to vote per se. One only gets fined for not having one’s name crossed off the roll and, once this is done, one can eat one’s ballot paper or tear it up and throw it in the bin, if one wants.

    Isaiah 5:20

A man, who, as a priest, 50 years ago sexually abused a teenage boy, rose through the ranks to become a Cardinal in the Catholic Church. He was defrocked in 2019 following a Vatican investigation which found him guilty of sexually assaulting several victims.

In his criminal case, a judge ruled last month that this 93-year-old former Roman Catholic Cardinal is not competent to stand trial after both prosecutors and defense attorneys determined he suffers from dementia, and dismissed charges he sexually assaulted a teenage boy in Massachusetts decades ago.

McCarrick is guilty of sexually abusing minors. To decide that the charges can be dismissed because he has memory gaps is not justice for the victims. His rights do not matter. Why does his competence taken precedence over the trauma suffered by his victims?

He probably has friends in high places – the earthly ones.
Woe to those who call evil good by deciding that his mental state matters and he can be let off on grounds of not being competent to stand trial.

    From the comments:
    – This man represents the very worst corruption in the Church and the state. Sickening the victims get no justice in this life.

    – McCarrick will soon face the Just Judge…be sure that he will be held accountable.

    ………………..

    On the other hand,
Woe to those who call good evil

    Also in the Catholic Church
The future of a good and faithful bishop – Bishop Joseph Strickland of the diocese of Tyler, Texas – is being discussed in the Vatican, and he may be asked to resign.

Why? Because under the current regime at the Vatican, if you are a good Catholic shepherd who upholds the teachings of the Church, you are deemed bad. Now, if you fly a Pride flag in your church, are pro-Covid vaxx, support Net Zero, abortion and the rest of the NWO agenda you will get a promotion.

Rate raises have now hauled the central bank’s main deposit facility from -0.5% in June 2022 to a record 4%. A key reason for the hike Thursday appeared to be upward revisions in newly-published staff macroeconomic projections for the euro area, which see inflation averaging at 5.6% this year, 3.2% next year and 2.1% in 2025. However, it also indicated that further hikes may be off the table for now.

The meeting is the latest step in a campaign by Musk’s Jewish friends and allies, and executives of his social media company, to stave off the mounting controversy, according to five people familiar with the situation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to share behind-the-scenes conversations.

This summer, Netanyahu smoothed things over in a conversation with Musk after the X owner repeated antisemitic tropes about Jewish financier George Soros. Netanyahu’s government minister tasked with fighting antisemitism made of point of saying that Musk’s comments were not antisemitic, despite widespread outcry in Israel.

Matches never used to go beyond 5 minutes of extra time.
Under the new rules the video folk keep track of all stoppages and time wasting .. add them up and they become extra time .. most games nowadayz run between 3 and 8 minutes for both halves ..
During the WWC one of Germany’s games ran 21 minutes extra time 2nd half because the Germans kept fouling the opposition as they needed a win to stay alive .. didn’t work .. LOL!

Have the women filed their complaints with the police?
Or is it with the media?

It is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
So we wait and see what happens next.

The problem is that the AEC have announced that a tick mark will be accepted as a Yes vote, but a cross mark won’t be accepted as a No vote, it will just be an invalid vote. The AEC does NOT have the authority to make this decision!!!!!!

    Nelson_Kidd-Players

If the AEC made a statement that if a cross cannot be accepted then a tick also cannot be accepted, then they would have projected a strong dedication to neutrality

Why isn’t there a legal challenge?

The referendum booklet which contains the section Your official guide to the 2023 referendum has the AEC logo and the last page has samples of the ballot paper with the Write YES or NO instruction as well as the box having a YES on one sample ballot paper and NO on the other sample ballot paper.

The AEC was responsible for the content in that section of the booklet and is responsible for the ballot papers. If the instructions in the sample are not exactly what will be accepted as a valid vote, someone in the AEC has to be held accountable.

    Thanks, mh.

It should be easy to make the case. Clive won’t need to spend too much money. That last page of the booklet should be enough.

The ballot paper could have had the vote marking options in this way.

    For this Sunday.

Today’s Gospel reading (Matthew 18:21-35) is on the subject of forgiveness, and includes the parable of the unforgiving servant.

What does forgiveness mean? I have struggled to understand this fully in the Christian context. At a personal level, I have felt a conflict swinging between the

I came across a video that explains the many dimensions involved in the breakdown of relationships and what forgiveness means. This has helped me to understand the process and feel a sense of peace with my decisions.

Now I don’t want to be called paranoid, but given the obvious success with dogs, the new power of childless wimmin and the soppy young males we see around us, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is not already happening. Soy Latte anyone?

Thanks shatterzzz, I did not know that. I just looked at the EPL table. What a gulf between the big clubs and the rest. I did like this quote

Brighton’s starting line-up cost less than £20m in total, while Man United spent more than £300m on theirs.

3-1 to Brighton. Bye bye Ten Hag.

I am sure that if you contact them and query the existence and validity of Sec 95 paras(8)and (9)(Which approves the use of the letters Y or N to signify a valid YES or NO vote) you will be told that this is indeed a true option but the AEC WILL NOT inform the electorate of this option in any way prior to the vote.

Something I wasn’t aware of in Premier league is there is a cap on total transfer allowance per club .. your transfer limit is decided by the amount of outside sponsorship you have (naming rights, jerseys, boots ect) the bigger your sponsorship contract(s) the more your allowed for a total tranfer budget ..
ie .. the new Toon shirt deal with Adidas added an extra 75 million pounds to whatever their total already was .. they are now 3rd highest amount behind Manchester City & Manchester United …….

So a type of breed commits a disproportionate amount of violence

& the solution is just to remove them from society?

Why not try integrating them into neighborhoods with less violent breeds

Bring more of them in from overseas and house them in gov funded kennels so they learn
