I regret to inform you all that I have caved into the pressure and gotten my first jab.

This is because I have certain commitments both financial and otherwise, that – unlike our fearless politicians – I feel unable to ignore or otherwise negate as I gave my word and that means something to me. That means keeping my job, which means getting the vax. For me, there was zero reaction to the first one, second is scheduled for 30/10.

Still pushing various other avenues to bring these dogs to account – Australian Human Rights Commission say they are unable to act against a state government breaching my human rights, only federal government, companies and individuals, and referred me to the Omsbudsman. So complaint in with them. Both my state and federal MPs are “stuck” on the official line, and won’t change – those particular individuals will never get another vote from me under any circumstances, and I have told them so.

If this stuff wrecks my body, then before I go I will wreak havoc on the politicians – physically. That may end up as the the first non organised crime political assassinations in Australia. Hopefully doesn’t come to that, but if the f*ck me, I’ll f*ck them back HARD and screw the consequences.

“Kneel, I respect your autonomy to make bad decisions”

As I said, I take giving my word seriously, and felt I had no choice if I were to keep it. The coercion will keep increasing, of that I have no doubt.

So perhaps you should not judge me just yet – you may also find yourself in an untenable position WRT to this. For me, after speaking with my doctor I judged the risk of the jab vs the consequences of being an “anti-vaxer” and for me, that fell on the side of taking the risk of the jab. You may reach a different conclusion, and that is your choice – I do not and will not take the view that I did it, so therefore you should too. No judgement from me on your personal choices, I would hope to get the same back.

Just wanted to let you all know that even though I am still staunchly against the mandates, I had to make a choice and did so. Absent said mandate (I live in a NSW “LGA of concern” and travel ~40km to work) I would not have gotten it. I am most definitely NOT happy about this interference in my personal health choices – IMO, it is clearly a breach of my human right to medical self-determination.

I am not sure that explains why the American said they have more Constitutional protections than we do. NSW was doing things differently than Victoria until recently.

Indeed, proceed with caution. If the vax has to be boosted every year, it is something to think about first, if you want to do go down that path (that is, if we have any choice left the way things are shaping up).

One year  could turn into every six months?   There is simply no reassurance from experts, no pointers  as to what to expect in the future by government but weekly flip-flopping about policies.  It all just provokes so much anxiety in people, not the least turning people against each other.

Opposition leader Anthony Albanese has come out swinging against those in the community and those in his own party who feel that parachuting Senator Kristina Keneally into a safe – albeit extremely multicultural and economically disadvantaged – electorate in Southwest Sydney is a terrible and disgraceful idea.

“I think they should be looking at Kristina’s inspiring journey to this country, which is not unlike any other migrant story,” he said.

“While some people arrive here by boat, only to be thrown into an illegal concentration camp for a lazy decade in PNG or Nauru, some people arrive to Australia by plane. You can still flee persecution on an airplane. In fact, that’s the only way to come to Australia if you’re looking to claim asylum these days,”

“Kristina Keneally is a migrant success story. Her journey to this country was not all smooth sailing, mind the pun, it was arduous.”

Mr Albanese then cleared this throat and continued.

“They put her in the smoking section of business class. She explicated told the travel agent she was a non-smoker but something must’ve gone wrong. Can you imagine spending 17 hours in a room you can’t leave full of people smoking? Well, before 1990, that was the reality of flying in the smoking section,” he said.

“It’s a journey that could’ve killed an asthmatic. It’s unthinkable now but back then, it was commonplace. So you in the media who say Kristina isn’t fit to represent the people of Fowler, I say look at yourself in the mirror,”

“In other words, this is obviously killing me on the inside but I need to let the Labor Right have this victory to keep the ship on course. I’ll give this win to Timbertop Marles and hopefully he’ll let Penny Wong down into the House of Reps in a few years and she can avenge me when Jimmy Chalmers grows a set and takes a shot at the title.”

Thor, funny thing is when you try to fly something which has engine thrust such that it gets about 0.5 g acceleration it won’t fly in a 1g gravity field. Funny that. 0.5 g is just fine for taking off from the Moon of course and as it is about 3 times lunar gravity the gravity losses are minimised. Do you want me to define gravity loss in this context?

TAKING THE PISS OUT OF COWS

    by mem.15/09/2021

I read today from a serious discussion on ABC,  “The Conversation”, that we are to toilet train cows for the benefit of the environment. Read the full article here, https://theconversation.com/we-managed-to-toilet-train-cows-and-they-learned-faster-than-a-toddler-it-could-help-combat-climate-change-167785

Now, I come off a farm where we ran 200 milking cows and a roll over of 200 fattening black angus vealers for the meat industry. These guys actually think that spending 15 hours per beast training and putting in specialist urinal yards is even viable? What planet do they live on. It reminds me of the book  “Gulliver’s Travels” by the wonderful Jonathon Swift and in particular this passage:
    “Extracting Sunbeams Out Of Cucumbers”
Context: Lemuel Gulliver visits the land of Balnibarbi, where people insist on doing everything in an impractical fashion. Those few who wish to use common sense in their activities are forced by social and political pressure to conform to the impractical. The epitome of the attitudes of the people of the land is found in the Grand Academy at the capital city of Lagado. At the academy Gulliver sees all sorts of experimentation going on. The most striking aspect of the projects is their absurdity, the second is that they all require a constant flow of money, like modern research and development projects. Swift is not satirizing only general impracticality; he is also hitting some of the contemporary follies of the British Royal Academy, whose membership sometimes indulged in activities that Swift, at least, did not approve.

The first projector Gulliver meets at the Grand Academy of Lagado is typical of them all:

. . . He had been eight years upon a project for extracting sunbeams out of cucumbers, which were to be put in vials hermetically sealed, and let out to warm the air in raw inclement summers. He told me, he did not doubt in eight years more, that he should be able to supply the Governor’s gardens with sunshine at a reasonable rate; but he complained that his stock was low . . . since this had been a very dear season for cucumbers. I made him a small present.

Senior federal ministers and their opposition counterparts were involved in top-secret talks in Canberra on Wednesday ahead of a major international announcement on Thursday morning.

Mystery surrounds the highly sensitive matter, which the Herald Sun understands involves Australia’s allies in the US and the UK and which multiple sources said related to defence.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese, his deputy Richard Marles, defence spokesman Brendan O’Connor and foreign affairs spokeswoman Penny Wong were briefed by the government on Wednesday in what the Herald Sun understands was a hastily organised and highly unusual meeting.

Defence Minister Peter Dutton and Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne — who are in Washington for high-level talks with their US counterparts — are believed to have dialled into the meeting.

Scott Morrison’s national security committee has also been briefed on the announcement, which is expected to be made at 7am on Thursday. US President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak about a “national security intiative” at that time.

The Prime Minister has been back and forth to Canberra in recent days for secure meetings which the Herald Sun understands had to be held in person.

Very different policing for these climate activists to last week’s video where UK cops let their dog chew on an anti-lockdown activists head:

    @darrengrimes_

I’ve never seen or heard such pathetic and selective policing in all my life. Are the police running a five-star sodding hotel, or defending the laws of the land and ensuring hard-pressed British workers can get to and from work without some hippy sat in the middle of the road?!
