  1. Apparently the ‘Yes’ argument is proving effective in convincing people to vote know.

Also in a recent survey, those inclined to vote ‘Yes’ were less certain of their decision than those inclined to vote ‘No’.

This is very sad. They’ve been excellent for years, the very antithesis of the ABC

It may be sad, but it is not surprising. In his Goodbye post, David Hiscox writes:

As readers have probably figured out by the lack of content the last fortnight, The XYZ is shutting down.

Speaking personally, I am burnt out and I will do other things. I will no longer write or edit The XYZ, but will leave the site up for posterity. I have ended all irl activism, will no longer do livestreams, and all XYZ social media has been shut down.

I can understand what The XYZ blog owner means when he says that he is all burnt out.

Blogging/finding content for a site to keep it running is time consuming and exhausting. Some sites have bloggers working there full time and depend on financial contributions from their readers. Others, like this one, have contributors who are busy in other roles and come in when they can.

It is possible to win the war against the WEF and their plans for the New World Order. But that requires people to shift from inaction, apathy, disinterest, fence-sitting, lurking and passivity to action, taking part and getting involved. Those who read this blog will be familiar with my rants on blog participation.

If the battle – whether physical participation in protests and rallies, posting comments and responding on blogs, or other methods of fighting back against the despots – is dependent on a few, the ones who do it will get weary and burn out at some stage.

But a “Just don’t vote” campaign might be too hard to muster.

It is not just for America but may well apply to all democracies. Most voters will only understand what went wrong when the entire system is razed to the ground. Who knows? Then they may listen – really listen – to the truth speakers.

That these are strong men who are defending what it is to be a real man?

I was wondering why there was so much interest in the military coup in Niger. Why was Macron so upset, why did Victoria Nuland fly to Niger to demand the restoration of the former president, why does the USA have two military bases in Niger?

It’s a dirt-poor dusty sub-Saharan nation which shouldn’t be of interest to anyone, and it’s in a corner of the world where we see three military coups every week, so why all the fuss about Niger?

The answer I think is the Trans-Saharan gas pipeline which is planned to take natural gas from Nigeria through Niger and Algeria into Europe, thus replacing the Russian gas which was transported to Europe via the Nord-Stream pipelines with American corporation owned gas in Nigeria.

If Niger turns off the gas then they could expect retaliation from America and Europe, another NATO war for justice and democracy and all that stuff.

Sam Bankman-Fried will head to jail on Friday after a judge sided with a request by federal prosecutors to revoke the FTX founder’s bail over alleged witness tampering. Bankman-Fried was remanded to custody directly from a court hearing in New York.

Judge Lewis Kaplan denied Bankman-Fried’s request for delayed detention pending an appeal. Unless the appeal is successful, he is expected to remain in custody until his criminal trial, which is due to begin on Oct. 2.

“My conclusion is there is probable cause to believe the defendant tried to tamper with witnesses at least twice,” said Judge Kaplan during his ruling.

As the court marshals took Bankman-Fried into custody at the end of the hearing, the defendant took off his blazer, tie, emptied his pockets, and appeared to remove his shoes. Bankman-Fried’s parents were both in the gallery. His mother had her face buried in her hands for much of Judge Kaplan’s lengthy ruling.

Sandy, the caller, is an indigenous lady and she spoke for around 15-20 minutes. I did make some notes on what she said so that I could share it here on the blog. But I have decided not to do that. There was a request from callers for the recording to be made available, and the host of the show said that he would look into it.

I will keep a lookout and if it gets posted somewhere, I will share the link here.

I would advice the NO campaign to forget about all its other ad material and focus on getting this call out to the public, in every way possible. Twitter might be a good place to start, with links provided on campaign advertising.

I wonder exactly what these insane viewers thought they were viewing.

A French player managed to miss an open goal from six yards out in the first ten minutes.

The fact that it took 21 penalties to get a result might be high drama, but you have to question the quality.

I will most likely watch England vs Australia on Wednesday, but I am under no illusion of what I am watching.

Protest song by a Virginia factory worker

    Oliver Anthony
    Rich Men North Of Richmond

With a background working 12-hour factory shifts six days a week, he paints a vivid picture of rural, hardworking Americans who feel they’ve been forced to sell their souls to work long days, including overtime hours, “for bulls**t pay” only to “waste” away their lives and see their meager earnings “taxed to no end cause [of] the rich men north of Richmond.”
