Instead of quickly ripping it off our government seem determined to forever slowly peel off an eternal band-aid.
This is Tartarus level stuff. Where Sisyphus is forever rolling his stone up the hill just to see it roll down again, Tantalus racked by thirst and hunger eternally trying reach the cool waters around his feet or the plump fruits of his tree only to have them retreat just out of reach with each attempt, and Orpheus’ daily agony chained to his rock watching but powerless as the eagle daily tears at and eats his liver only to have it grow back again overnight.
Then there are the millions in Sydney watching as the Virgin Queeg and her minions take slices from their lives, and however meagre and seemingly pointless what remains appears it is a new torture to watch them return slice again. Every day.
They seem to believe that despair breeds compliance.

The experimental Pfizer ‘vaccination’ is already out of date and failing. They’ve lied (“98% effective! Prevents transmission! Two jabs and it’s all over!” becomes “sometimes effective, doesn’t prevent transmission at all, infinite jabs and it’s never going to be over”), as always and it got rubber stamped by tame and easily corruptible ‘authorities’ who weren’t in the least bit interested in getting the real data out of the companies, as always, and the public were had, again.
If you’ve had it perhaps you can take it back for a refund.
But know this, if you get and keep getting the ‘boosters’ they’re suddenly telling us everyone will need forever, your immune system will be less and less equipped to deal with the virus without the aid of the ‘jab’ if you ever decide you don’t want to take their products anymore.
Quite the catch for a company.

From the spectator.
Israel has been held up as the “gold standard” of how to conduct the coronavirus vaccine rollout. It has seen approximately 70% of its population receive the jab. The Israelis have relied in the main on the Pfizer vaccine. However, recently the country’s Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, stated that the Pfizer vaccine is ‘significantly less’ effective against the so-called Delta variant. This follows on from a statement last June by Ran Balicer, who leads an expert advisory panel for the Israeli government, in announcing that the country might end up in lockdown again. Balicer and other officials said that 90 per cent of the new cases were caused by the Delta variant.
Now an Israeli doctor has revealed a bombshell during a television interview. In the interview on August 5 with Israel’s Chanel 13, Dr Kobi Haviv, medical director of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem, stated that the majority of coronavirus patients in an Israeli hospital are fully vaccinated, including those with severe disease.
Dr Haviv further specified that: “95% of the severe patients are vaccinated,” adding “85-90% of the hospitalizations are in fully vaccinated people” and the hospital is “opening more and more COVID wards.” This has led him to conclude that “the effectiveness of the vaccine is fading out.”
Of the 72 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 25 patients were in “critical condition”, 38 were in “moderate” condition, and 9 were in “mild” condition. There were two deaths reported at the time of the interview.
Data from the Israeli Minister of Health released on July 22 declared that the effectiveness of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at preventing COVID-19 has plummeted from 90 percent to only 39 percent, coinciding with the spread of the Delta variant in the country.
All this begs a significant question as far as Australia is concerned. After National Cabinet on July 30, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that there will be “special rules” for people who are vaccinated because they present “less of a public health risk” However, in light of the above, why are our politicians and health officials insisting on this rhetoric, and that vaccinations are the way out of these ‘Delta’ induced lockdowns, when evidence is mounting to the contrary?
A Covid-19 outbreak in a Massachusetts county in July primarily occurred among vaccinated people, sparking fears that a variant of the virus can impact that population more than other strains.
Of the 469 cases detected in Barnstable County, 74 per cent occurred among the fully vaccinated, according to a new study published by the CDC on 30 July. It also emerged last month that 49 fully vaccinated people in New Jersey died of coronavirus.
Across the Atlantic, early analysis from Public Health England suggests vaccinated people infected with the Delta variant may be as infectious as their unvaccinated counterparts. The PHE technical briefing indicates that that “whilst vaccination may reduce an individual’s overall risk of becoming infected, once they are infected there is limited difference in viral load between those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated.”
What is even more concerning is that, as alerted to by the Doctors for Covid Ethics, a Freedom of Information request to the Australian drugs regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Administration that granted provisional approval to the Pfizer vaccine, confirms that it has never seen the study data.
In other words, the TGA never saw or requested the patient data from Pfizer and simply accepted their reporting of their study as true. This means that when the head of the TGA John Skerritt said that “the safety evidence is pretty thorough” on February 6, his words would ring hollow to most Australians who have assumed, rightly or wrongly, that the TGA had actually looked at the patient data before granting any such approval. As noted by Doctors for Covid Ethics on its website, it is currently not known whether any of the major government agencies around the globe (FDA, MHRA or EMA) has independently verified, or attempted to verify, Pfizer’s data, before proceeding with provisional/emergency authorisation of Pfizer’s mRNA therapy vaccine.
For any government, either by itself or via corporate proxy, to attempt to mandate vaccines in circumstances where there has not been adequate testing and analysis of risks as well as benefits would constitute not only a violation of the principle of informed consent (which Prime Minister Scott Morrison has stated he believes in – see this press conference as an example) — but a violation of Australia’s obligations under international law with respect to medical experimentation.
Indeed, after National Cabinet on August 6, Scott Morrison indicated that mandatory vaccination could breach privacy laws, discrimination laws, and Australia’s policy remained that vaccines should be voluntary and free. In particular, he declared: “In our country, everyone has choices and they have choices that are supported by the rule of law and simply making the point that those choices have to be exercised, are consistent with the rule of law.”
Let’s just see if these will simply be more hollow words from the hollow man.

Nissan’s light diesel (YD25) has diminishing returns. Thirsty, service heavy and tuned so hard so they feel like a ‘normal’ car that they’re pretty sensitive to bad fuel and anything else.
Expensive to service too if they have a DPF and require low SAPS oil > $100 for four litres and you need 5 – 7.

The low-tech, relatively poorly equiped and trained Taliban are giving western armies a lesson on how to win a war.
Doesn’t matter how skilled, brave or well equiped your military is, if you conduct a war in a half-arsed fashion, you will lose. And so it is playing out. When your focus is on enforcing rules of engagement on your own soldiers, rather than winning that engagement, then the enemy know you are not serious. When you continue to use failed tactics such as COIN, then the enemy gets a huge advantage. When you continue to focus on diversity at the expense of warrior culture, then the enemy can’t believe that they are opposed by such weak clowns.
And when you send investigators to ask you to dob in your troops for war crimes, even though there is no humour in Islam, the Taliban can’t help but have a good old gut-busting laugh. All the way to Kabul.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has angered her state counterparts after announcing she could deliver an early lockdown reprieve before reaching the vaccine threshold target set by National Cabinet, according to a report on Sky News Australia.
State and territory leaders last week agreed to use lockdowns to contain COVID-19 until at least 70 percent of eligible Australians have received the vaccine.
The possibility that Ms Berejiklian may shift the vaccine goal posts for NSW could jeopardise the united front presented by National Cabinet on the ongoing management of COVID-19.
Under the plan COVID-19 ravaged communities would only exit stay-at-home orders after 70 per cent of the state’s population had been vaccinated.
So they’re openly telling us they all agreed that australia would be locked down until everyone capitulates and gets vaccinated.
Like I said a month ago. This, what is happening suddenly since the end of July, is an agreed upon “strategy”. Nothing to do with “cases” or covid, From Canberra to Dubbo to Cairns – it’s to make the population so miserable that they go out and get the vaccines.
Ideological. A military style shock-and-awe campaign. I wonder whose big brain though this up.
Also “National Cabinet” is clearly acting as a supra government with zero oversight. It’s a legitimate constitutional crises.

Doesn’t matter how skilled, brave or well equiped your military is, if you conduct a war in a half-arsed fashion, you will lose.

It is impossible to ‘win’ any war against Muslims except in the Queen Isabella fashion.
Their entire religious system has to be destroyed. They have to become Christians, in other words. If you’re not prepared to do that, forget about occupational wars. If retribution is needed for specific outrages against your citizens and interests, kill the leaders, bomb their assemblies, destroy their infrastructure and then bail until next time. The Afghanistan War was always going to end like this.

I have noticed on Who Wants to be a Miyonair(Sic!) most contestants aged under 30 have no idea about anything that happened before they were born. Older contestants, especially those in their 50s and 60s have much better ideas of what happened hundreds, nay thousands of years ago, and the 30 – 50 generally know what happend in their lifetime, and maybe back to the start of the 20th century and in same cases the 19th

You mean when you metaphorically grovelled on your hands and knees tp LL et al, licked his boots, and lied your face off for him?
Cassie, there was nothing “private” about our email exchange. It was simply an offshoot of an ongoing conversation between an email group NFA set up the time of the lockout – “straycats@ . . . At the time your label of “Gang of Four” was openly endorsed and discussed.
Several of those Cats were here when you made your lying comments the other night, and several of them are online now. I don’t know which is more disheartening – you now lying your face off to support LL and the Gang of Four, or the continued silence of those who were part of the straycats network and who know you are lying your face off now.
Still not that the reasons for their kowtowing matter anymore. LL in his many guises plus his sycophant followers have managed to well and truly hijack and dominate this forum, just like they did the old one.
In truth I only came here to keep an eye out for Ellie, in case she showed up and copped a pile on like she has so many times before. I can do that without bothering to comment on a blog now run by a group determined to control it, and populated by commenters too gutless to speak out against it.
Have fun, folks.

CL, have a look around the used ute markets for a tray back/cab chassis.
Plenty of ex town tradie utes on the market with <150K kms on the clock going for around $7 – 10K. If you are only using it for round town use and tip runs etc. should last for donkey's years.
Toyotas command a top price for a very good reason, but Nissan DXs are pretty sound and way cheaper on the used market.

As a politician what would be less damaging, economically billions down the drain or thousands sick and many dead ? Some deaths in lockdowns will be hidden but hospitalisations for everyone to see. This is the dilemma facing Scotty and co given what is happening in Israel . Has Sweden had Delta variety yet or has herd immunity protected them? Dead are here and now billions even trillions of dollars are beyond most’s comprehension.

Weird that scomo totally capitulated on covid the moment his hillsong mate that his government helped get out of the country got charged with pedo charges.
Seeing leftwing propaganda influencers starting to stir that little problem around the place right now.

It’s their job to know these things.
But what you write about the historical ignorance of younger generations generally is true, Dio.
I’ve been trying to interest my children in the family tree; we are directly descended from a major historical figure who is my 22nd great-grandfather and through him to several significant figures and families central to British history. But if there’s no inheritance to be had they’re not interested!
I’m documenting it all in case they want to pursue it in the future.

CL: this 4WD Triton tray might suit your purposes. Reckon you could shave down the asking price a bit too.

I own a 20-year-old, low mileage (190k) 4WD Mitzi Challenger and recently decided not to replace it, as it still pulls like a Mallee bull. Cannot recommend them enough — great engines, solid gearbox — and if we weren’t in bloody lockdown mine would be somewhere in the Flinders Ranges about now. That was the plan anyway.

Very occasional that is.

I haven’t really done the numbers but I started to think that day hire once a month might be cheaper than rego & TP and basic bomb insurance.

And they want that, in turn, because ‘vaccination’ shifts all responsibility for what they’ve done to the victims – the public.

Scomo will be thrilled to hear that the snaggle-toothed schoolyard tough kid, Albo, has endorsed the masking and lockdown policies.
What the federal government defends now that they would want to disown at the next election was a possible weak point. Labor, not having to make any of the decisions, could at that time insist that whatever the new wisdom is next year was their wisdom all along.
Labor has again helped to shore up a Liberal government.
As for the state Premiers complicit in the whole fiasco – they could have lied about being forced into it by the Feds. The MSM and people in general will not check, they will just believe it.
