    I thought of posting this on Sunday for any of the blog readers who may want to join in, but then, decided against it. However, this has been trending on twitter, today, so I’ll explain it here.

    With all the problems taking place in the world as well as in the Catholic Church, one of the bishops, Cardinal Raymond Burke, last month, called upon all Catholics to join him in a nine-month novena seeking Our Lady’s intercession.

    This is a Worldwide Call to Prayer from 12 March to 12 December to Our Lady of Guadalupe whose feast day is 12 December. It is trending today, because it is 12 March, the first day of the novena, in the US.

    Although it is an appeal to Catholics, anyone who is concerned about the problems in the world can join in. It is a prayer, reading it takes just 2-4 minutes of your time, each day. If you want more info, check the site. I came across a post on twitter that says over 120,000 Catholics have already pledged to join this 9-month novena.

    If you want to join in, Catholic or not, don’t worry about being a day late or that you cannot commit to 9 months. Set some kind of a reminder and do the best you can.

    During the GOP primaries there were battles between the main candidates – Trump, DeSantis, Haley – and their supporters.

    It must have seemed a great deal of fun for Maga with Trump brainwashing his worshippers. They cheered the name-calling DeSanctimonius, Birdbrain and the lying about the rival candidates.

    Now Trump is the GOP nominee and Maga has taken over the RNC. They are cleaning it out and getting rid of the Rinos. According to Trump Adviser Lynne Patton RNC Is Officially Trump Country.

    The media will tell us that Trump is leading in the polls. Polls don’t matter – what will count is the voting in November. From accounts that I read, many Conservatives have left the GOP and now call themselves Independents.

    3 weeks ago Angela and I picked up our son, Sam at the airport after a 9 month deployment to Somalia. 2 weeks ago Angela went on Hospice care. 1 week ago she passed away after a year and a half battle with stomach cancer. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. 😪

    Putin thrashes Communist Party opponent

    Incumbent President Vladimir Putin is expected to win this year’s presidential election, with nearly 90% of the vote, Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has reported.

    According to the CEC, more than 80% of the votes have been counted as of 1am Moscow time and Putin is leading the race with an estimated 87.15%.

    His opponent from the Communist Party, Nikolay Kharitonov, is expected to come in second with 4.2%, followed by Vladislav Davankov of the New People party (4%) and Leonid Slutsky of the Liberal Democrats (3.2%).

    The Houthis are continuing to cause havoc to shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, they now have hypersonic missiles which the western navies cannot shoot down.

    A week or so ago a Russian defence spokesman warned the British Royal Navy about reprisals to the Royal Navy’s attacks on Russian ships in the Black Sea, the RN is behind the “Ukrainian” sea drones which have attacked and destroyed three Russian Navy ships.

    The spokesman warned that two parties can use proxy forces to do damage to each other, hence the Houthis have sunk three British ships so far. I’d bet that the British ship owners and Lloyds of London would be knocking on the door of 10 Downing Street to tell Rishi to stop poking the bear.

    A lot of problem people shoved into Woodridge. Some very bad incidents over the years. Doesn’t change much. A lot of welfare, and poverty.

    The Logan Central area (Woodridge, Kingston) does have ethic fights like the vid touches on, Islander vs Aboriginal, etc.

    The rest of it is just kids playing up for the YouTuber, Spanian. Marsden isn’t a “hood”. It’s just another Logan suburb that is a bit more affordable than other places outside of Logan. The kids are just copying American urban culture.
