    Trump on Hannibal Lecter:

If you have a twitter account, the comments below the second clip will provide further amusement. Here are a few:

    – Trump’s lying AGAIN! Liar, liar, pants on fire! Per Anthony Hopkins, aka Hannibal Lecter. “I refuse to comment in public about U.S. politics and world events because the opinions of actors and actresses simply aren’t worth anything!”

    – Hannibal Lector wasn’t an actor, Donald

    – It’s highly embarrassing that grown adults worship this blithering idiot

    – Thats his entire personality summed up in one sentence, right there folks. Narcissist

    – This is a presidential campaign? Never has anything to say that’s good for the country. It’s all about what’s good for him. How can he help himself. Or, it’s about everyone who is going to be punished for going against him. How does he live with himself.

    – North Korea figured this out. In fairness, though, so did many of our enemies, just say “I love Trump” and he goes absolutely gaga. It is like talking to a five-year-old, do you like me? I like you, we’re friends.

    – He is so insecure it’s sad

    – He would put Hannibal Lecter in his cabinet if he said enough nice things about him. That why he’s constantly surrounded by yes men, clowns and hustlers.

    – Narcissistic lunatic

    – Lecter was thinking Trump would be a tasty accompaniment to his fava beans and his nice Chianti when he said he loved Donnie.

    – Frontrunner for the GOP in 2024 is fundamentally a carnival act.

-I believe Hannibal Lecter is a fictional character….which tracks with tRump’s story.

-He meant, I love the taste of Donald Trump..ewwwww.. Wait no, not even Lecter would like that. Way way to greasy.

Old bloke, the public were coerced into taking the jabs due to various threats to their jobs or freedoms. It is not just something that happened in the past. They are still pushing the jabs as I’ve posted in the other thread today.

There needs to be Nuremberg 2.0 to get to the bottom of what really happened and why some in government, politicians and those in the medical field don’t want scrutiny.

Blowback: How Israel Went From Helping Create Hamas to Bombing It

Hamas wants to destroy Israel, right? But as Mehdi Hasan shows in a new video on blowback, Israeli officials admit they helped start the group.

Mehdi Hasan, Dina SayedahmedFebruary 19 2018

What do you know about Hamas?

That it’s sworn to destroy Israel? That it’s a terrorist group, proscribed both by the United States and the European Union? That it rules Gaza with an iron fist? That it’s killed hundreds of innocent Israelis with rocket, mortar, and suicide attacks?

But did you also know that Hamas — which is an Arabic acronym for “Islamic Resistance Movement” — would probably not exist today were it not for the Jewish state? That the Israelis helped turn a bunch of fringe Palestinian Islamists in the late 1970s into one of the world’s most notorious militant groups? That Hamas is blowback?

This isn’t a conspiracy theory. Listen to former Israeli officials such as Brig. Gen. Yitzhak Segev, who was the Israeli military governor in Gaza in the early 1980s. Segev later told a New York Times reporter that he had helped finance the Palestinian Islamist movement as a “counterweight” to the secularists and leftists of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Fatah party, led by Yasser Arafat (who himself referred to Hamas as “a creature of Israel.”)

“The Israeli government gave me a budget,” the retired brigadier general confessed, “and the military government gives to the mosques.”

“Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel’s creation,” Avner Cohen, a former Israeli religious affairs official who worked in Gaza for more than two decades, told the Wall Street Journal in 2009. Back in the mid-1980s, Cohen even wrote an official report to his superiors warning them not to play divide-and-rule in the Occupied Territories, by backing Palestinian Islamists against Palestinian secularists. “I … suggest focusing our efforts on finding ways to break up this monster before this reality jumps in our face,” he wrote.

They didn’t listen to him. And Hamas, as I explain in the fifth installment of my short film series for The Intercept on blowback, was the result. To be clear: First, the Israelis helped build up a militant strain of Palestinian political Islam, in the form of Hamas and its Muslim Brotherhood precursors; then, the Israelis switched tack and tried to bomb, besiege, and blockade it out of existence.

In the past decade alone, Israel has gone to war with Hamas three times — in 2009, 2012, and 2014 — killing around 2,500 Palestinian civilians in Gaza in the process. Meanwhile, Hamas has killed far more Israeli civilians than any secular Palestinian militant group. This is the human cost of blowback.

“When I look back at the chain of events, I think we made a mistake,” David Hacham, a former Arab affairs expert in the Israeli military who was based in Gaza in the 1980s, later remarked. “But at the time, nobody thought about the possible results.”

    They never do, do they?

Thanks Johanna, my comment was based on the commentary of that Australian Agenda video I posted.

I think that the tax deductibility for corporations is a rort. If gigantic mega-corp XYZ Corporation has numerous subsidiary corporations, for example a mining company, an airline company, a gas and oil company, and a media company, and those businesses contribute to the Yes campaign, then they can claim those contributions against their tax liability.

However, if those contributions go to their media company for newspaper and TV advertising, then XYZ Corporation’s ledgers remain unchanged, it’s really just an internal fund transfer from one or more subsidiary’s to another.

If I was to transfer money from my saving account to my cheque account, I can’t claim a tax deduction for doing so.

Just to toss in my ten sheqalim worth. It seems the new rulers of a country have three options if they want to survive:
Ghengiz Solution: slaughter everyone, destroy their history and graze your horses on the graves.
1920s Solution: move the population en-mass to another country. Used by the Turks. I believe Stalin did a knock up job.
Conversion: convert the existing population to your religion or else pay tax and be second rate citizen with no legal rights. Early Islam was the expert on that one.
Anything else and the country has a festering group that can be used by politicians and kept as perpetual victims.

1920s Solution: move the population en-mass to another country.

First used by the Assyrians in 800 BC. When they conquered the northern tribes of Israel, they moved the entire population to other recently conquered territories on the fringes of their empire, in the Caucasus, Steppes and Persia.

There the relocated tribes had as neighbours people with whom they shared no language, religious nor family connections with whom they could plot against Assyria.

    Used by the Turks.

Ancestry.com recently published a DNA report which shows that half of the Turkish population is actually Greek. The Turks were a central Asian people who invaded Anatolia and forced conversion to Islam on the Greeks. The Turkish government complained about this report to Ancestry.com took it down.

Conversion: convert the existing population to your religion or else pay tax and be second rate citizen with no legal rights. Early Islam was the expert on that one.

Early Islam and current Islam. After the American invasion of Iraq the local Muslim strongman started calling on the small Christian and other communities to pay the Jizyah tax. How long before we start seeing the same demands in other places, Sweden for example.

Since the weekend, I have been consuming the main topic of news. Photos, videos, stories, reports. I think anyone following the news will have seen images. Some are being censored due to the graphic content or have a warning attached. People need to see what has taken place.

    How can it be described?

The politics of the Middle East is complex and I have a limited understanding of it. But we don’t need to be historians to understand this – innocent civilians going about their lives have been wounded, tortured, raped, murdered, taken as hostages. Children, women, men, elderly. There is no justification for this kind of massacre involving thousands of innocent people.

I have been thinking of how to post comments here on this subject. I want to avoid the images but not because they should be hidden away. They need to be viewed to understand the depth of the brutality that took place in Gaza a few days ago. But there is so much unfolding as a follow-on. Reactions, reflections, opinions. I want to share what I am picking up in the media, the same as some of you here on this blog have already been sharing.

I won’t post the links to everything as it gets hard to manage. But if you read something I have posted and want the link, let me know and if I have it, I’ll post it.

There are times when we can take individual “tiny” stands and our protest will count. We can do a solo “resistance” as discussed in the Resisting the Reset post.

Sometimes, a group resistance is required.

They organise a protest and do it as part of a crowd.

We make the mistake of going solo.

The Anglican clergyman is right. We cannot give in to fear. But instead of doing it alone, he could have sent a message to some parishioners asking if they would like to join him.
    Easy to do.
Then ten or twenty or fifty could have stood on the steps of the Cathedral with the flag.

The same with the Jew. He could have got a few more to join him.

The police would then have to decide how they were going to manage one group’s freedom to protest against another group’s freedom to support in this multi-culti-diversity-faith city.

The left know how to unite even when they are wrong.

Time to move on to other aspects. Seeking the answers and the truth. Questions are already being raised.

In early 2020, we started to get glimpses of the Covid hoax. At that time, most believed the media and government propaganda. Slowly, some realised that they were being conned. But some stayed with the fakery and did as they were told.

Here we are in October 2023. What is the truth about what has happened this weekend? Some opinions are being posted.
    Conspiracy theories? Or truth?

    Some comments:

    – Israel has to look internally as well, as this was one of the worst intelligence and security failures in the history of that young nation.
    Massive Intel failure.

    – not only Mossad, but the CIA. You would think that at least one of the best intelligence agencies in the world would have caught wind of the attack. My supposition: complicity. One or both knew of it and purposely kept quiet.

    – 100% failure of the IDF, the intelligence apparatus and the PM. If BB does not fire any of the senior leaders for this, he will be gone. This is the most disastrous battlefield defeat Israel has suffered. Now we got little kids in cages in Gaza. The nightmare only just began.

    – We are at war. First we destroy the enemy, then we will ask questions and investigate the reasons!!

    – I’m from Lebanon and we have the border dividing us. We cannot approach kilometers in Lebanon from the border of Israel because of its level of security. They even send helicopters in the middle of Beirut, not the border only, to check on us. This event is premeditated

The No are blokes, probably retired or self employed so they can’t be fired. I thanked one No bloke and was yelled at by a Yes gal. The Yes is on a moral crusade and therefore beyond the Law. Scott Ritter gone wild!

Scott is a very excitable person who is right on most things but not all. He doesn’t seem to notice that the Hamas Charter calls for the death and removal of all Jews from Israel, you can’t sit down and negotiate with such people.

He also seems to be unaware that the bulk of the Arab “refugees” voluntarily left Israel in 1948. After the UN vote which established the state of Israel, the surrounding Arab nations called on the Arabs within Israel to leave before they attacked. They were told that the Arab armies would kill all the Jews, then they could come back and get all the Jew’s stuff. That didn’t work out for them.

All the Jews in the mid-east were driven out of the countries were they had been living for hundreds of years, over a million Jewish refugees poured into Israel and had to leave all their stuff behind. Around 400,000 Arabs left Israel in 1948, they didn’t have to be “refugees”, they could have taken over the previously Jewish owned houses and businesses etc. which the Jews were forced to leave behind but none of the Arab states wanted them there.

The Prophets said that the Jews would return in 1948 but they would only control a small coastal strip and would never find peace, that won’t happen till Yeshua returns in His role as Messiah ben David.

1/ Consume the info only from the Legacy media and accept what they say as the truth.

2/ Consume the info from all sources and get confused.

3/ Ignore all info – just wait till it is confirmed and verified weeks or months later.

4/ Follow all info, be aware of what is being discussed and use your analysis and discretion.

My option is number 4. I am reading, watching, listening to input from many sources. Some of it is true, some may or may not be true, some to be filed away until there is more detail.

This is like Covid. In the early stages we thought that masks and social distancing would protect us from the virus. Then there were clues that it could not be true, and later the scientific papers gave us the answers.

Covid personally affected each of us but the Middle-East conflict is in another part of the world – at least for now. Are they unconnected or is there something to the “conspiracy theories” now floating around? The truth may not always get presented to us on a platter. We may have to pick bits and pieces from different posts, articles, videos and so on and then set them together to see the final answer.

I’ll “take that on notice” and get back to you. From memory, it was one of the “Z” prophets who prophetised about the House of Judah, Isaiah and Jeremiah were focussed mainly on the House of Israel and Ezekiel was 50/50.

The prophecy was given after the Jews returned from their 70 year exile in Babylon, the prophecy said that if they annoyed God again in the future they would be exiled again for a multiple of 70 year cycles.

A former UK Police Chief of all people, it may have been Sir Robert Peel, did a study of the last exile starting on the recorded date when the Romans sacked Jerusalem in August 70 AD and destroyed the Temple. He used that date and worked out that the Jews would regain the land in May 1948 based on x number of 70 years.

He calculated that date based on 360 day years, not 365.25 days on our present calendar. Prior to some cosmic event which occurred around 4,000 years ago (see Immanuel Velikovsky’s books), all ancient calendars were based on a 360 day year, and a 30 day lunar cycle.

He used the 70 AD date and calculated the number of days in the X x 70 years cycle and arrived at the May 1948 date, from memory I think he picked the exact date, 14th May 1948.

Depends on the VPN service, the free and cheap ones have only a few IP addresses to offer and it’s dead easy for the webmasters to filter those out and block them.

In the past 6 – 12 months it has become very hard to read/watch/listen to many of my bookmarked, so-called “conservative” sites and blogs. The bias from these “conservatives” is so obvious, it would have puzzled me had I not had access to other avenues that have provided me with clues. When it comes to the candidate for the 2024 election, they have decided on the winner.

If you have not been keeping up with a wide range of news outlets, or are in agreement with the “conservative” pick of the candidate, that is okay. If you seek to understand beyond that, here is an explanation.

    The US: Pre-2015

Americans, esp GOP voters, were unhappy with what was happening in the country with a growing awareness of the Establishment, Deep State, Rinos and so on. Politicians more focused on self-interest and survival than the country and the people.

Suddenly, along comes this guy, a non-politician, an outsider. He has a public profile because he is a businessman, billionaire, television personality. He is not a conservative or a republican, but he couldn’t get into the political scene via other options so he joins the Republican party. Presents himself as a battler for the common man, says all the right things, makes the right promises including that he is going to Make America Great Again – MAGA.

His message and status as outsider and non-politician appealed to the voters and he got nominated. Running against the despised Hillary Clinton, he won the 2016 election.

Moving on to the Conservative media. They had a great job now. Criticise all the known factors: The Dems, the Establishment, Rinos, Deep state as the negatives. And praises and support for this hero, Trump, who is going to save the country.

Their audiences began to grow. People full of hope and wanting to vent their anger at the existing political system and believing in the changes to come. Voters were not just donating to MAGA, the political party, but also to the MAGA media which carried the message. Conservatives gravitated to the media – print, online, blogs, videos, podcasts – anything that was pro-Trump, anti-establishment, anti-pollies.

Anyone on the side of Trump counted as the good guys, the patriots. Anyone who criticised Trump, said anything negative about him, were the bad guys, Rinos, pro-establishment. This was quite easy in the period 2015 – 2020.

This is the MAGA conservative media called the “Influencers” – whichever medium they used. The message was to praise and promote Trump and criticise anyone not in the same camp. Using this formula, they built up a following of millions: followers, subscribers, site-clicks, site views.

All that translates to very big $$$$$$$$.

It worked fairly well from 2017 – 2019. Then Covid brought in some questions about the way Trump handled it, but he continued to have the support of most of the Conservatives into 2020 and the election that year.

    Report comment
  73. kaysee kaysee says:

Beginning with Jan 2021, J6 and the aftermath, there were questions starting to be asked by some. As the year progressed and into 2022, some Conservatives were not happy with Trump and the split began. By the time of the mid-terms, there were further break-aways.

The Influencers had been able to establish themselves under the MAGA brand and build up their name, fame and fortune because of it. Without MAGA they wouldn’t have had a job, an income, a livelihood. They helped Trump and MAGA, and MAGA helped them. Trump achieved a god-like status because they used their megaphones to promote him.

Now, they are in a situation where they know that if they say anything negative about Trump, there will be a drop in their donors, subscribers and hence income generated. So, knowing which side their bread is buttered on, they still support Trump, refuse to call him out when he says or does something that in not in keeping with Christian teachings or conservative principles.

These Influencers have now come to be known by a derogatory term: Con Inc.

When I visit some of these MAGA sites, the impression is that Trump is not just the clear winner of the GOP nomination but also the general election. And DeSantis is failing with single-digit polling and is losing donors. He is a Rino, pro-establishment, etc, etc, etc. There are so many negative tales about RDS, it is easy to be misled and think they are facts.

When I check twitter, it seems like a different picture because there are posts from people telling a different story.

    What’s happening?
Some of the MAGA Influencers/sites are hard-core Magadonians. But there are others who are afraid to say anything negative about Trump. The MAGA movement is a money spinner, a cash cow. For them, it is not whether Trump wins or loses. It is not about their country. It is not about being patriots. It is about maintaining their well-established business.

As for the Magadonians, ask them why they are against Ron DeSantis, and the answer will be:
Ron DeSantis is a RINO, an Establishment guy, has links to Deep State, Soros, WEF, has been endorsed by Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney. He is a “politician”. He is disloyal.

Ask for evidence, they don’t have it. They are simply repeating from the MAGA playbook.

Ron DeSantis is one of the most Conservative politicians in the US. He is not perfect but his flaws are fewer and of a smaller downside than any of the other candidates. The Establishment hate him. The RINOs hate him. The Deep State hates him. He is not their guy.

If DeSantis was a RINO, how come he is not a part of this?

The presidential candidates will address E2 donors in sessions that are not open to press. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), among others, were also invited to attend

The ITV News reporter who originally reported this event has walked back from the report. Similarly, the White House has issued a correction to Joe Biden’s condemnation for this event saying that it was reported by Israel but hasn’t been confirmed.

The US Defence spokesman, Admiral Kirby (creepy looking bloke, wouldn’t buy a used car from him) has changed his tune regarding support for Ukraine. The “as long as it takes” message has been replaced with a message that continued support for Ukraine can’t be assured.

The IMF has told the little green man that he’ll have to increase taxes, that won’t be received well by the Ukrainians.

There’s been another EV car fire in an airport car park, this one in Glasgow, plus a Volkswagen and a Tesla car dealership burnt down.

I’m going to buy a horse & cart, seems much safer.
