You can add to the list Somalia and Libya.
The point is they lied every single day. Not just one lie. Vietnam and Afghanistan was unrelenting lies.
The New Atlas interview of Mark Sleboda made a good point about NATO trained troops: such as in Afghanistan and Iraq and how quickly they surrendered to the bad guys. The latter was such as disaster that the RAND corp did a study Will to Fight: Analyzing, Modeling, and Simulating the Will to Fight of Military Units and never got to the obvious reason.

Kremlin says it wants to see cool-headed leadership in Slovakia
Russia said it is watching political developments in Slovakia after the pro-Russian populist, and former prime minister, Robert Fico won a parliamentary election at the weekend.
When campaigning, Fico promised to halt military support for Ukraine and called on Kyiv and Moscow to reach a compromise to end the war.
On Monday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was ridiculous that European politicians like Fico were labelled pro-Russian.
“Now anyone who thinks about the sovereignty and independence of their country are getting called pro-Russian. We would surely like to see experienced and cool-headed leaders in Slovakia,” he said, in comments translated by NBC.

Reserve Bank of Australia governor Michele Bullock has spared borrowers from a 13th interest rate rise but warned at least one more increase may be necessary as the central bank tries to stamp out the worst inflation outbreak in decades.
Announcing the cash rate would be left at 4.1 per cent for the fourth straight month, Ms Bullock said on Tuesday the decision to keep interest rates unchanged at her first board meeting as governor was made in light of uncertainty around the economic outlook and signs the economy is cooling.

If you are unsure about the veracity of a news item, ask yourself:
Who is narrating the story?
Do they have an agenda?
What you see reported in the media should not be swallowed as factual. Most would agree with this when it is the MSM. But in the context of the US Elections, the caution applies to both Legacy and “Conservative” media from all sources. I have explained this in last month’s US Elections thread. I will get to it again in the next few weeks/months.
Had the outcome not been of great global concern – who will win the WH in 2024? – this ongoing drama would provide much entertainment. It also continues to shed awareness and enlightenment on the main characters and their supporters.
I am repeating this – I try to verify but I can’t spend too much time. Some of the info/links are the facts, some not yet verified, some to be taken with a grain of salt. As for the memes floating around on social media, I keep tossing up whether I should share them on the blog or not.
Use your discretion when reading what gets posted.

When it comes to campaign funds, we are told that his donors are Rinos or that his donors are dropping off because he is doing so badly in the polls.

This is what I like about this blog. There is a set of rules that allows free speech but not the low level abuse or ridicule of commenters. Disagree, debate, yes. But not abuse. At the old Cat, to find comments with news required scrolling past abuse, trolls and in-fighting. That is all okay for those who are on the blog 24/7. But if you just want to catch up with news and good comments, you had to wade through pages.
I’m done with trying to encourage others to participate in a blog that is free from trolling and insults. Using this opportunity of this platform to share and speak freely, within the blog rules. There is so much happening in the country and the world that can be shared and discussed.
