I support long term goals that the MAGA movement thought were Trump goals but on which Trump went to water. ie stricter immigration, border protection.
Even after getting shot, Trump had no momentum, and the RNC was a total flop. Trump hired his old campaign manager from 2016 as the base had tuned out. Trump needs to get pressured continuously by the AFers to give some commitments to their agenda otherwise they don’t give Trump their vote.
The last week Trump has done well in waking people up to certain issues. It’s that movement I like – where Americans become aware of policies such as race replacement. Replaced by voodoo practicing Haitians with an IQ of 67!
Does Trump move things forward or back? If he subsumes the AF ideas from 2016 then spits them out when becoming Prez then obviously it’s of no use.
At the moment he is flying around America with Laura Loomer. He’s trying to get the feel of those that are withholding their support, problem is Loomer is a crazed Jewish Zionist but has an image of being ‘based’.

Cats, Dogs and Election Debates
1/
All these long, detailed comments – which include putting together what I have read, learnt and analysed – are for the benefit of rational readers. For those who think critically and are truth-seekers.
The election debate (10 September). Immigration is a major issue. Instead of going in prepared with the facts: what is happening at the border, the numbers coming in, the illegals and the problems caused, Trump reacted to the bait and pulled out something unverified “They’re eating the dogs, the people that came in, they’re eating the cats,…..”
After the debate, the Democrat side started trolling with memes and videos about cats and dogs. Fine.
The Maga side could have had their memes about Kamala at the debate. Fine.
But after the first 1-2 days, the focus should have returned to the big issues of the election: economy, inflation, real immigration problems, border and so on. Instead, Maga have rushed in to protect their god with memes and viral videos – because it is not about facts, but whatever he says has to be accepted as fact – without any care for the consequences to anyone else.

This is good, kaysee, thank you. I don’t believe or trust anyone on the political stage or in the MSM, so don’t really take any of their “news” seriously. It is okay when a tussle is between groups that have equal advantages. But what happens when the innocent become targets? Imagine going to school as a 9-year old and your classmates ask you questions about your food? Or evacuations due to bomb threats?
Or being wrongly accused of stealing pets, killing them and eating them?
A joke for a day or two in the heat of the moment and then passes on is one thing. But to make it take centre-stage and be treated as real, what’s that?

I came across Andrea’s account a couple of months ago and have been checking her regularly.
I am not hooked on to the internet all the time. I listen to the radio off-and-on and hear the MSM news. When I get round to the internet, I check the news and if possible, verify the bits I heard on the radio news and talkback.
Once of the best sources of news at this stage is twitter. But herein lies the trap. Twitter sets algorithms to display the posts from accounts it wants to amplify. And it shadow bans the accounts of “conspiracy theorists” and truth speakers. I don’t bother to follow the big name accounts or what twitter recommends. I have a different method.
In my browser bookmarks, I have created a “Twitter” folder. I have saved here the accounts of posters I have found to be worth reading. It has been a trial-and-error process and is a bit tedious. If I have come across a poster who posts tweets that fall into the categories of well-researched, intelligent, give me food for thought or help me learn something, I save that account. If the poster turns out to be a fake or a waste of time, I delete that. If I find new good ones, I add them. It is not about agreeing with everything from those posters – but their overall content.
I don’t keep checking for the latest tweets being dropped in 24/7. When I have the time, I check these accounts and pick up the news and info there. And, of course, I share as much as possible here. I’ve found this system works well because I can quickly read through what’s there and gain from it without losing too much time. I also don’t let myself get caught up in the useless trolling and unpleasant exchanges that take place.

We don’t have a follower, donor or subscriber system on this blog. But, like Andrea, I will say the same. If you don’t like what I post, feel free to scroll past. I don’t post my opinions and analysis to be popular or liked.
I care about what is happening in the world and passing on the truth so that those who want to learn and are similar truth-seekers can gain from my reading and research. The same as I gain from those who are also reading, researching and posting here. Many previous commenters on this blog decided this was not the comfortable space for them, especially with our comments on Trump and the Gaza war.
As Andrea says, those who prefer the comforting lies and the biased commentary can go to sites where they can find it. Those who want to join us here in the posting of uncomfortable truths or discussions on them are welcome to do so.
This was originally the comforting lies meme. I converted to a Cat meme which I posted here, last year. I am on my own there but will do some image-shopping to add anyone else who wants to sit under the Catallaxy banner.

Addressed to any serious readers who want to take part in the blog, as regular contributors, but are hesitant or don’t know how to begin. Here are some suggestions:
There are many important topics to post on, but just three of us here on a regular basis cannot handle it. In a comment in last month’s thread, I listed a few topics.
It is a choice to take part or lurk. There is no shortage of news events taking place.
Covid, climate change, cost of living, electric vehicles, wokeism, economy, politicians, Census 2026, elections, gender ideology, wars, DEI, corruption, free speech, digital ids, WEF, globalism, or any other politics or non-politics topics.
If you want to get into the active participation, pick any issue that you are familiar with and post one comment on that topic every day, for one week. It can be your opinion, analysis, experience or a link to some info. At the end of the week, every serious reader on the blog will have learnt something on the topic you posted. That’s what this blog is about. Sharing for others to learn.
Try it for another week. Use the same topic or pick another one. Initially, it may feel awkward. Once you commit yourself to regularly posting on the blog, it gets easy. It will also give you the experience of being on the other side; an involved, active poster, not a passive, lurking reader. You will experience what it is like to spend some time in research, and then to post what you’ve learnt. It is easy to be a passive reader/lurker, but participating takes some effort, and it is a choice.
Don’t expect responses to what you post. You may get replies or not. You may get some who agree or disagree – that is free speech.
So if anyone wants to take up the challenge and try it out, you’ll find that after the initial weeks, it is easy to get into the serious blogging cycle here. And you’ll learn a lot about the subjects you post on.

mh, you mentioned Melania the other day. Melania has been missing from the campaign trail even though her husband is running to be President.
It is 6 weeks to election day and early voting has probably begun, but she has been busy with more important matters – the promotion of her book. It couldn’t be launched at any other time. It would seem that the main buyers of her book would be Magadonians.

2020 US Elections: Who won?
There was an article on the Sky News website about ex-PM John Howard’s opinion on the two candidates in this US Election. He said he could not support Trump or Harris. The reason he would not vote for Trump, if he was an American, was due to Trump’s refusal to accept his loss at the 2020 election.
Now scroll down to the comments. Poor Aussie Magadonians have a dilemma. Is Howard is a liberal party hero, or does that change now because he is not supporting their cult-hero Trump?

There were lawsuits filed but they did not prove the election was stolen. If there was evidence of fraud why were the courts including judges/justices appointed by Trump – federal and supreme court – not able to reach this conclusion?
If Trump had taken the advice given by his team and accepted that he had lost, the matter would have ended there. But he attempted to pressure Mike Pence to break his oath and do the wrong thing, organised a Jan 6 rally and urged his supporters to march to the Capitol (justifying it with “peacefully” doesn’t make it okay). They were led to believe the election was stolen and the only response was a mob protest.
Mike Pence had done what was right by his oath and the Constitution – yet his own life was in danger. The mob had baseball bats and pepper spray and chanted “hang Mike Pence”. Trump called him a “wimp”. Yet, he did not flee to safety but stayed to see the completion of his task as Vice President.
If a Vice President has the power to disregard the election results, then in November 2024, Kamala, as Vice President, can do the same if the Democrats lose.

For the past year, my focus of posts/comments on this blog have been around 2 topics:
– the US Elections
– the Conflict in the Middle East.
What are the reasons for the attention on these 2 topics?
1/
The media, especially the Conservative media that I used to trust for the facts and unbiased reporting, have been selective in their truth-telling when it comes to these two topics. They are fairly good on the other issues like wokeism, global warming and so on, but their biases on the election and the conflict are obvious. To bring about the balance, even though this is a tiny site compared to the MSM, I have thought it necessary to use this blog as a means of providing the facts.
2/
The US Elections and the conflict in the ME are not separate issues but interwoven to form one central issue that affects the entire world. The US and other western countries are changing their laws and rules to favour one side. If any other country had done what Israel has been doing for decades, and more so in the past year, there would be an outcry. But the western world is not just silent, it provides aid (not just monetary) to Israel and calls it “the only democracy” in the ME.
The war and bloodshed could have ended. Why hasn’t it?

Who might be the prime offenders in relation to eg Covid “vaccine” mis/disinformation? Not ordinary citizens. The very idea of public – rather than individual – health is controversial.
