Apparently McCallum and Charlie met while working on The Great Escape. McCallum was then married to Jill and brought her out during filming. Charlie told McCallum after he was introduced to Jill that he was going to steal her and marry her. Which is what he did. What a guy.

NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller has told his officers he won’t hold them to account for wrongly issuing COVID-19 fines in a call to prioritise health order enforcement outside emergency duties.

In a recent video to the force, Mr Fuller urged members to put community policing aside during its blitz on lockdown breaches, issuing a challenge to them over the course of Operation Stay at Home to “go high-level enforcement”.

A directive to issue false fines and punishments based on ‘the vibe”.

What, Charlie stealing Jill? This is what McCallum said about it:

As a young actor trying to make your name, having your wife stolen by your mega-famous co-star is the kind of thing you’d imagine would eternally be deemed unforgivable.

Not so for David McCallum. His Great Escape co-star Charles Bronson romanced then married David’s then-wife Jill Ireland but David is remarkably sanguine about it.

“I never hated him, Charlie was always a good friend,” he says. “I find that when problems come along, worrying about them and getting anxious and negative is quite unnecessary. You can solve them, usually amicably. That’s what happened.”

He might be positive about the split now but he does admit: “It was an extremely difficult time, not least because we had three children.”

McCallum seems like a decent bloke. Unless you’re a talifuck when a sheila decides she’s out there’s not much you can do.

I takes quite a bit to get me extra cross, but watch out if you do. As I don’t take much notice of a lot of what goes on with the Dash-Cat right now no one here should be afeared (I see Bird is back again, making no sense but with no J word).

Struth, I am not a paid agent of anyone, I simply form my own views on scientific matters from evidential data. Others are free to form theirs. I do not think lockdowns are a good ‘solution’ to epidemics in general and have been on record re that for many months as a medical signatory to The Great Barrington Declaration. Our current lockdown needs to end sooner than Gladys will allow, even given that we are still a population with a large proportion of unexposed and unvaxed people. Some will die, certainly: that will doubtless happen anyway soon enough for those with weak immune systems vaxxed or not once the virus becomes generalised in the community.

Good to see some old friends here. There is that. 🙂

🙂 the funny thing is struth, that I’m not out to unequivocally declare any particular poster or their socks as proven WEF Agenda Propaganda Pushers, but I do know enough of them personally, in the real world, to recognise how they do their job, so I describe their ways & methods for others to watch out for, then bang, I get attacked by those who behave that way the most, and when I point that out as yet another typical behaviour of propagandists, they go even more nuts & get even more vicious.

Meanwhile, the Jab Pushers are ignoring the, “Jab Makes You Free”,
“Freedom Plan” that Governments are already announcing against those who do not comply with what the Jab Pushers are pushing for Governments –

    https://www.theguardian.com/business/grogonomics/2021/aug/19/australias-latest-wage-figures-are-terrible-and-we-cant-blame-the-pandemic

This mong is 100% for increasing public serpents wages while they are running around with hammers flattening and private business in 1/2 of Australia.

And is somehow confused as to why the private sector might be lagging.

    …

    Couple of nuggets though.

“…A major reason is state governments putting off wage negotiations and scheduled wage rises until some uncertain period after the pandemic. The federal government’s move to also limit public service workers’ pay rise to no more than the private sector growth has also begun to take effect.

The annual growth of public sector wages of just 1.3% is the lowest ever recorded….”

So pubic serpents have recieved the lions share of wage rises in Austfailure “ever recorded”.

Re Bell’s Palsy: the old man got it once, at the same time as he was having an attack of shingles, which is a recurring, nasty variant of chicken pox. It seems quite likely that it was triggered by some dysfunction of the auto-immune system in his case.

“… Justin Langer … was a tough little bastard … has apparently alienated some of the princesses in the serially-underperforming Australian team.

Langer’s former opening partner Matthew Hayden, quite rightly, believes this state of affairs to be a load of shit:

” Test great Matthew Hayden believes any Australian cricketer offended by Justin Langer’s intensity should be thankful they were not born 30 years earlier. …”

Well summarised Knuckle Dragger – I am unsurprised and delighted that Matthew Hayden has spoken so clearly at these donkeys; and made his point about Bob Simpson and Allan Border.

The current lot have likely never heard of them. They will be unaware that, post cricket, these blokes could not shake off their reputations and credibility – followed them around for decades – allowed them to enjoy personal and commercial success for life.

Today’s players will not experience anything like it, they will leave cricket with zero integrity. Village idiot Watson and Lara Single set the standard for them a decade ago. The big money is their most prized applause.
