    ■ BRAZIL, RIO DE JANEIRO: I’ve always preferred markets and street food over restaurants and modern shopping malls. The price is better, you’re outside and you get served instantly without a wait. But what does it take to operate as a street vendor? Who are the entrepreneurs who go through the hassle of having to wheel a business into the desired location day after day, year after year? And what is it like to be an entrepreneur in a bureaucratic mess of a country like Brazil where there are more rules, laws and regulations on the books than citizens? A couple of days ago I was introduced to Oberdan Santos by a mutual friend of ours. Mr Santos is an entrepreneur, father and volunteer at his local church, who a little under two years ago, left his hometown of Manaus to live in one of Rio De Janeiro’s many favelas looking to improve his plight and job opportunities. He started selling food and candy for established street vendors as he had done back in his hometown Manaus but quickly excelled to the point where he decided to start for himself selling Acai, an ice-cream type of snack popular where he was born. As soon as he told his story I asked if I could tag along the following day to document his daily life as an entrepreneur on one of Rio’s most famous beaches: Leblond. This video shows everything that transpired on said day….

    Dot,

No, you’re not taking the fucking blame for it. ? He made all these enthusiastic promises and the site ended up with Bird making deplorable blood libel accusations against the Tribe and threatening to kill people, en masse, who didn’t agree with him. He let that crap go on for weeks and then, he finally posts a long laborious comment about how he’s busy running an online candy store and moving his family to another state. He didn’t have 15 minutes a day to clean up the shit Bird had sprayed over the walls and start a new open thread. Give me a fucking break.

You, JC and others who sat on sinc’s cat for a great deal of the night, regularly interacted with & made excuses for Graeme Bird’s flooding Sinc’s cat with Jew Hate.

His posts and other’s friendly interactions with him would all sit there all night (day for so many others around the world), then when Sinc found time in the morning, he’d delete his posts.

Now when G.B. did the same thing on AdamD’s cat, you all jumped on AdamD for not having a ‘report’ button, which he did set up (but Sinc never did), but that wasn’t good enough, you wanted him to make ban hammer wielders out of a bunch of you (something you didn’t trash Sinc for not doing), and offered a whole host of other ways he could keep Bird out (ways that never even got tried by Sinc and aren’t 100% even here at Dover’s), but it isn’t about Your Friend Graeme Bird is it.

At this stage I’m not sure that people think about that in general.  If they were vaccinated it is the non-vax who are passing it on to the good guys,  and if they were not vaccinated it serves them right is the general stream of belief being passed on and around.

Australians are terrified either way.  K-Mart are shutting their doors to the unvaxed and office staff in various organisations won’t work with the unvaxed.  I think by Christmas we will see 90% or more vaccinated people.

The fear in Australians is simply so  huge and there is the terrible situation of no-one being interested in research into  treatment options, just vaccines as a preventative cure-all.   All eggs in one basket.

    That’s just logic.

We also know that these jabs will destroy your immunity.

Struth…you are right we are in a sense at war. We are at war over our democratic rights and the preservation of our way of life.

I cannot believe that so few people can understand the significance of what has been conceded in the name of a pandemic that is increasingly being revealed as overrated in terms of mortality.

This morning breakfast TV revealed that a WA court has gaoled the 2 guys who illegally entered WA to attend the AFL Grand Final for 10 months with a 3 months non parole sentence. Incredible. And the 3 presenters LAUGHED.

Monica Smit, a dissenter against the Melbourne lockdown, was arrested for being outside her 5km zone & sentenced to 21 days solitary confinement when she refused onerous bail conditions involving searching her house & confiscation of property. It took a QC to get her out.

Again, a casual news item that WA is banning the display of “colours” by bikie groups with severe fines as punishment. All body tattoos to be examined for offending signs.

Sadly, I think we have changed radically as a nation. Our education system has long ago leached the syllabus of our description, let alone celebration, of our past and the achievements made possible because of our freedom.

My husband and I are seriously preparing for a changed society & are consolidating our assets to make sure our grandchildren will survive materially.

    STORY AT-A-GLANCE
 A recent report details a SARS-CoV-2 Delta outbreak in an Israeli hospital where 238 out of 248 (96%) of the exposed patients and staff had been fully vaccinated with Pzer’s mRNA vaccine
 Of the 238 fully vaccinated individuals, 39 (16%) were infected, as were three of the 10 unvaccinated individuals who got exposed
 While all of the sickened staff recovered, five infected patients died and nine turned into severe or critical cases. All of the dead and severe/critical cases were fully vaccinated. Two unvaccinated patients that got infected only had mild illness

 This outbreak tells us that the COVID shots cannot create herd immunity. It also suggests vaccinated people may be more prone to serious and lethal infection than the unvaccinated
 Of 41,552 hospitalized patients in the U.S., 73% of the unvaccinated, 71% of the partially vaccinated and 72% of the fully vaccinated received a diagnosis of COVID-like illness (CLI) between January 1, 2021, and June 22, 2021
