Some time last year, there was talk of a UN-type “treaty” that was to be administered by the WHO, and which gave that same organisation (WHO) the ability to declare a “State of Emergency” that had to be implemented by the various signatory nations – as in mandatory.

Tedros has gone very quiet on that. I saw his urgent plea for the nations to surrender their sovereignty to the WHO for health pandemic related issues, we won’t know our response till after the election I’d say.

I’d also guess that, regardless of a Liberal or Labor win, Australia, New Zealand and Canada will sign away their sovereignty. Then the PMs and state Premiers can just shrug their shoulders when the mandates come back, it’s not their fault, just complying with an international agreement which outranks the nation’s constitution and laws.

General George S. Patton, a keen observer of the human condition, opined that people cheer likely victors while scorning likely losers. And so they do. Who flocks to a losing cause? Few. People either side with winners, or they side with outmatched contenders who do their darnedest in their own cause—in other words, with pugilists who could succumb yet command admiration and could prevail with help.”

Probably not this treaty, but it will sit as a precedent. If we sign away our sovereignty to the WHO for health related measures, i.e., mandatory jabbing, then the precedent exists to do the same with climate related issues.

A combination of reflections. Anzac day. Add to it the French election. And some personal experiences.

Instead of one long comment, it’s split in three.

    ….

A few months ago, a newbie took up residence, very close to where I live. The occupant turned to be a really noisy character. Most of the time on the phone – yakkity yak, cackle-cackle, on full volume, that carried over to nearby residences. Also the thumping doosh-doosh of “music”.

It got bad enough, so with a bit of research, I was able to work out the right quarters to complain to, and I did so. There was a brief period of peace and quiet after that, but it didn’t last long. Back again yakking-cackling-dooshing.

I was wondering what to do, and decided to watch and wait for a week. I kept a record of the dates and times to provide as proof, if necessary. In the meantime, I think, there was another complaint – maybe one or maybe more. As a result, the problem was taken seriously and the occupant must have got a stern warning.

Result: Peace and quiet for the past few weeks. It shows that complaining on one hand, and action taken by the relevant agency could bring out the right outcome. The same noisy character who believed she could get away with doing as she pleased, is suddenly now living low key – having been warned. If you don’t understand the rules and respect others, the leash may be required to keep you in place.

How long will this last? I don’t know. I hope the warning was harsh enough to keep her in line and deter a repeat. I don’t like having to complain but it was necessary. And I will do it again, if required.

There is another area that I know very well. It is a residential section with buildings all around. Occasionally, there will be a loud mouth or loud music at a volume enough to disturb those next door or a few doors away, but not beyond that. Generally, it is a quiet area. It is mulit-kulti – all kinds of people who go about their own business.

There is one unit, in one of the buildings where a few times a year, there are loud parties. Who are these residents? The muzzic is the identifier. Take a guess. Loud, droning, grim, dreary. And the partiers are sitting in the balcony chattering-clapping-shouting.

The sound system volume is so high, it can be heard down the street, in units a few buildings away. If it can be heard at a distance, what must be the level of the noise for the people who live next door, above and below the unit, in other units in that building, or the next building?

The latest party was a week ago, on Easter Sunday. Christians living in this area would have celebrated this most important feast with family and friends but without disturbing others. Yet this clan have no concerns about interrupting the peace of others. They must have gathered that evening for their noisy communal breaking of fast.

Aren’t people being disturbed? Especially, the ones in close proximity to that particular unit? Of course they are. But they don’t want to stir themselves from their comfort zones. They don’t want to be the “bad guys”. They hope that Someone Else Will do something. They put up with those who break what are Strata rules, and let the breakers get away with it. These rule breakers have come into the country from other cultures, many settle down and form enclaves, and turn it into a mini version of the country they ran away from. If that is not enough, they come into areas that are either western dominant or multi-kulti and take over. A centimetre. An inch. A metre……

    How does that happen?
    Simple. The rest do nothing.

The do-nothingers may whinge and grumble. But in reality, they do nothing constructive to prevent or halt the problem.

They don’t really care. It is Apathy.

    Until it is too late.

So, what is happening in the West? And why?

    Some examples.

    a.
    Spain

Muslims block Easter procession, attack police

Islamic law forbids non-Muslims to make public display of their religious festivals. These young Muslims likely believed that the Holy Week procession was wrong and offensive, and thus had to be stopped.

    .

    b.
    Sweden

Talked to @TuckerCarlson last night about the riots in Sweden. While people in the West have no idea what they stand for, the migrants living here have no doubt: if you burn their Quran, they burn down your entire city. And that’s exactly how the liberal elites want it to be

    .

    c.
    France

A map of the churches** that were destroyed in France over the last 4 years. Yet Emmanuel Macron, who can’t protect the churches from far left activists and terrorists won the re- election

(**The pins on the map don’t just show churches that were “destroyed”; they also include vandalism incidents, like graffiti, as well as theft, violent incidents at churches and religious buildings, plus incidents where priests were attacked or threatened.)

So why bother with the WHO “cover”. They didn’t need it over the last two and a half years.

There’s two reasons that I can think of BJ, these are:

    1. Political: Premiers and Prime Ministers can say, “sorry, can’t help you, it’s beyond my power to intervene.” They would say this to avert a political backlash to them personally.

    2. Legitimise their actions to date: They have breached the Australian Constitution and numerous existing treaties dealing with human rights to which we are a signatory.

The difference between what we’ve endured the past two years and the WHO treaty is its universal mandatory nature. The governments haven’t made vaxxination compulsory for everyone as they don’t have the authority to do so, they have relied on employers to carry the can plus some punishments for the unjabbed. If we sign the WHO treaty they will be coming for everyone.
