THIS is the shocking moment a Women’s World Cup ace was physically “restrained” by teammates.

Dutton must fight for free speech

Personally, I think we need to hear Mr Dutton say that he will make the repeal of this Bill the top priority of any future Coalition government and he’ll get it done even if it means forcing a double dissolution election. That’s how dangerous this Bill is and how little trust any of us can have in today’s Liberal party when it comes to free speech.

Then you cancel the event. Everyone is unhappy but it’s a long time to the next election and you spin it all as a waste of money anyway and advertise new grants. Everyone is happy again. Your mates sue for restitution. The tax payer pays the restitution. Now your mates are able to give generously to the next campaign. Perfect money laundering idea. And there is no proof.

Re Mark Taylor on CH9 Ashes coverage,

Taylor appears to be going out of his way to downplay Australia retaining the Ashes. He keeps on repeating hypothetical quotes he is making up for Ben Stokes if England win the next Test at the Oval.

If there is no play today, Australia retain the Ashes.
England had their chance yesterday, and could only take one wicket. That was England’s window of opportunity, and they blew it.

Sunday was forecast to be a washout. As Michael Vaughan said – when they forecast rain for Manchester, believe them.

Good old ABC. Just watch the latest episode of First Weapons, this week the Leangle (a curved club) and the Parrying Shield. We saw them being made. Using a saw from Bunnings, cut down a tree limb at a certain angle, chop in half with an axe from Bunnings and then, using a hammer and chisel from Bunnings, carve out a hand hold. Finally, using a sanding belt from Bunnings, make them smooth. Then there was a mock fight, which was a bit weird because they were all one nation and lived in peace and harmony, but clearly, hitting someone with a Leangle would cause a devastating injury. There’s a First Weapons website and I thought I might make the comment that using modern tools is hardly authentic and wouldn’t it be more realistic to use traditional methods? But they don’t take questions or comments. I also wouldn’t mind seeing a few people walking barefoot and close to naked around the outback for the real cultural experience but I doubt I will.
