Crash chopper due to be ‘binned’
The controversial Aussie helicopter said to be involved in a crash during military exercises has had a series of operational issues and was earmarked to be ‘retired’.

Like the recent report said, we don’t have a defence force. Written by Stephen Smith, ex defence minister under Rudd/Gillard, who didn’t make a single significant purchase on his watch.
Why is a failed defence minister shovelled buckets of money to write a report on his failures?

In the past, following a tragedy, the usual response would be to keep victims and families in our thoughts and prayers. That sentiment is of course a farrrr right one.

    Our progressive Defence Minister says:

Our thoughts and our hopes are very much with the aircrew and their families. Our hopes are very much with the efforts of the search and rescue crews as they go about their work right now,” he said.

Video from a Colombian outlet showed 18-year-old Linda Caicedo running during a practice before grabbing her chest with her right hand.

She then bent over and fell to the ground as some of her teammates surrounded her before she was attended to by what appeared to be medical staff.

The reason Sweden allows Quran burning despite international anger

There is no law in Sweden specifically prohibiting the burning or desecration of the Quran or other religious texts. Like many Western countries, Sweden doesn’t have any blasphemy laws.

The freedom of speech is protected under the Swedish constitution. Police need to cite specific grounds to deny a permit for a demonstration or public gathering, such as risks to public safety.

On another note I’ve been watching Julie Bishop at the Nat Press Club the other day. Too stomach-churning to watch at one gone. Uber globalist, quoting Biden, Paul Krugman!!!, UN, WHO, WEF and multiple “global rules-based order”. To think she was meant to be on our side. The presstitutes even applauded and then proceeded to ask questions about the Voice. Which she endorses.

The revelation was mocked by Sky News broadcaster Andrew Bolt in an online blog post.

“Brittany Higgins is now Aboriginal, too? And even got a job from Victoria’s version of Labor’s Aboriginal-only Voice?,’’ he wrote.

“Dear God. This Aboriginal identity craze is just too much.

“Text messages uncovered by the Daily Mail show that friend, Emma Webster, then asking Higgins what “mob” she was, adding the Assembly’s “co-chair and CEO are curious”.

“Higgins replied that her grandfather was connected ‘to either the Nyawigi or Gugu Badhun people.’ But ‘we’re not entirely sure which one and her grandfather didn’t want to progress any further’ with inquiries after reconnecting with his siblings from the orphanage”.

“Be clear: I’m NOT calling Higgins a fake. Her grandfather may indeed have Aboriginal ancestry, but I wonder how anyone could claim Higgins is in any meaningful way Aboriginal herself, based on such uncertain connections.”

    The Age

    Pinned post from 7.14pm
    Evening Richie, evening all
Evening sports fans, we really do have to stop meeting like this. Just once more, and there’s a chance we’ll see a bit of history tonight as Australia continue chasing England’s almighty fourth-innings target of 384.

If Australia knock off the 249 remaining runs, it will be the highest last innings chase by a long, long way. England of course need 10 wickets to level the series at 2-2. Otherwise, it’s just that dubiously claimed moral victory Piers Morgan keeps banging on about for them.

Should be a cracking day’s play. I’ll be with you the whole way, and then I’ll be sleeping for several weeks.

Mal Conn and Dan Brettig are in a similar state on the ground at The Oval, saddling up for one last day in a phenomenal tour. First ball as always is due at 8pm AEST – pending the weather, and we’ll have more on that shortly. Look lively folks, it’s day five.

C’mon lads. Do it for Warnie.

Meanwhile, here is some Brett Lee vs Piers Morgan as an appetiser
