To get away from his unpopularity among Israelis, Netanyahu took a trip to the US.
Then he gets back. And this follows within a short time-frame:
    – Israel killed Hezbollah’s most senior military commander Fuad Shukr in an air raid on the Lebanese capital, Beirut
    – Israel assassinates Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ political bureau, in Tehran.
    – Israel assassinates IRGC Commander Amir Hajizadeh near Damascus

Israel doesn’t want a cease fire with Palestine. It doesn’t want a two-state solution. It is itching for war with Iran and has ensured the support of the US.

The stage is set for more wars. How does this happen?

    The world order

    The media

But, remember. Israel is always the victim.

    That ongoing conflict in Gaza?
It only started on October 7.
    Because of Hamas.

Thanks for that link, Interested observer.

Over the past few years, I have lost my trust in the MSM and what they report. As an example, take the war in Ukraine. What is the story they give us?
Russia: villain, Ukraine: victim. Putin: bad man, Zelensky: good man.

Brief Backstory: The US interferes in the affairs of another country and gets their man elected. Provoked, Russia invades Ukraine. Then puppet Zelensky runs around the world collecting taxpayer dollars in the billions delivered to the Laundromat in Ukraine where it gets nicely rinsed and bagged to where it should go.

Fact: the ordinary people in Ukraine and Russia suffer due to the war which can be stopped. But why end a war when it benefits politicians, weapons manufacturers and many other industries?

Notice how, despite a war, so many brave politicians, other industry leaders and Hollywood actors go to visit Ukraine?

Lesson for the world plebs: The narrative being fed to us has been decided by the beneficiaries of the disasters that they set up.

Fact: the ordinary folk in Venezuela don’t have the basics they need. They are going through tough times. It is not like the US pollies or the media are worried about them.

Elon Musk is also paying great attention to the election in Venezuela. Why?
Because there’s plenty of lithium….very useful for batteries and Tesla.

With so much else taking place, the politics of Venezuela has not been on my list. But the elections this week, and Anya’s post, made me wonder what she meant. 1. Blog posters are doing self-moderation for their comments. That is good. Keep it that way. I am not needed here to keep checking in as often.

    2. If your posted comment gets held in the moderation queue, feel free to post the comment again if you know the reason why it got held back by the system. Otherwise I will release it when I am here.

    3. A new Open Thread is scheduled for the first day of each month. If I forget to close off the old thread, it would be great if one of you posts a comment to let others know that there is a new thread.

    4. We will be having some blog updates taking place in the next few weeks. The website may need to be taken offline for this. I will post before that to let you know.

    5. Server maintenance takes place sometimes. This is carried out by the web server that hosts this site, not by us. I do not get any prior notification about it. If the blog shows this or similar it is the server updates that are taking place. Once the maintenance is complete the site will return to normal.

    Paris Olympics Tableau

I had no plans to watch the Paris Olympics. Even before it began. It was only when catching up with the online news that I came across articles about what had taken place during the Opening Ceremony. I didn’t watch the video; the photos and descriptions were sordid enough.

There has been much outrage from Christians, Conservatives and some other groups. But why is everyone so shocked? This is unexpected? It is not as if we haven’t seen this building up slowly over decades, and more rapidly in recent years.

The cast of characters involved are pagans – they don’t believe in God, they have no respect for others, they have no self-respect, they lead degenerate lifestyles.

They picked on Christianity – not Islam, Judaism, Hinduism or Buddhism. It is not just that Christianity is a soft target as they will not face any real threat or violence. It is because they can’t dismiss the teachings of the faith, so they resort to mockery.

How did the human race in the western, civilised world reach this point?

Instead of using up my energy to release anger and rage at them, I want to look at it through a different lens – in three parts.

    Part 1
    Christianity and The Church
    (two sub parts)

    a/
    The Catholic Church
For over 60 years, the plans have been afoot for the New World Order. But the architects of this scheme knew that if they could capture the Catholic Church it will be the final major organisation to complete their goal. But you can’t win from the outside; you need to get in. And so they infiltrated the Church and started their change to wokeism.

What we have now, within the Church, is two factions:
    – the true Catholic Church (those holding firm to the teachings of the faith) with clergy and laity who have remained steadfast in following the teachings of the faith and
    – the modern-progressive church (those disregarding the teachings) supported by the woke pope, some clergy and laity.

I covered parts of this topic in a Post, last year, so I will not spend too much time on this except in context to that tableau.

Here’s what we know from the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church which is based on Sacred Scripture.

Despite that, we have examples including these:

    Vatican – last year

    The Pope – this week.

    b/
    Church sects
These are well-meaning but misguided sects which include groups claiming to be “Catholic” or in the denominational churches. They pick and choose parts of the Bible, and then go on to distort them by adding their own endings.

This is from a group called New Ways Ministry.
    Their website description:

New Ways Ministry is a Catholic outreach that educates and advocates for equity, inclusion, and justice for LGBTQ+ persons, equipping leaders to build bridges of dialogue within the Church and civil society.

This is their explanation for that tableau.
Jesus Would Eat with Drag Queens.
Bishops Criticizing the Olympics Should Do So, Too.

Part of that is right. Jesus ate with sinners. So yes, He would eat with the drag queens, homosexuals and sinners. But why did He do so?

It is the reason that makes the difference.

Christ ate with sinners not for the woke reasons but to help them understand that they were leading lives that were sinful, and to guide them so they could repent, change and be saved.

These New Age Christian groups are about inclusivity, diversity and being seen to be “accepting” of sinners. And affirming the way they are living their lives in sin. That is not the Christian way. If they do not understand that they are sinning, they will not repent and, thus, not be saved. How can that be following Christ’s teachings and example?

    Luke 5:30–32
And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” And Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

I didn’t watch this match, but it has been trending in the news. Initially, it appeared to me that it is the usual case of a man, pretending to be a woman (tranny), taking part in a women’s sporting event.

Sadly, we have two opposing viewpoints on this episode. One is the pro-qwertyism supporting Khelif and the other is the women-only competitors in women’s sports, on the side of Carini.

From what I have now learnt, this Algerian boxer should not have been allowed to take part in the women’s event due to having a physical advantage. But, biologically speaking, it may be that Imane Khelif is not a tranny. Those in charge of sporting events may need to come up with a solution to this, for future matches.

I don’t know how this can be solved so as to be fair to all athletes, but getting the facts helps us learn more than we think we know.

    Part 2
    The Slippery Slope

In 2017, there was a plebiscite held for voters in Australia to decide if the Marriage law should be changed to “..allow same-sex couples to marry?”. The plebiscite results showed a majority of Yes votes, and that resulted in a change to the law.

As long as homosexuals were fighting for this “marriage equality” they didn’t want to risk it by openly showing what they planned next. Once they achieved that, they set other goals.

The NO campaign had warned throughout the debate process what was happening in overseas jurisdictions where marriage had already been redefined – how a Yes result would impact the lives of those who, for personal or religious reasons, would not be able to comply with the requirements of equality and discrimination (such as bakers, florists, wedding industry) and mis-gendering when it came to the use of names and pronouns. No one would have been able to predict the drag queens and puberty blockers that would be used to target children.

But the so-called commentators and intelligentsia thought they were far advanced and knew better. They used their microphones and keypads to advocate for the Yes vote. Many so-called Conservatives and Christians declared their support for the change to the marriage law.

    Here are two examples.

    a/
Greg Sheridan, Catholic, writer of the books like God is Good For You (2018) and Christians (2021).

He declared his support for Same Sex Marriage (2017) and Gay couples with children (2016)

On a personal level, I have no issue with gay marriage.

Just as I don’t want the government to censor free speech and free expression, I don’t want it to dictate who can marry and who can’t. As an atheist, my position has always been that changing the Marriage Act would have zero impact on the lives of the majority of Australians, yet bring joy to those directly affected.

I knew she had voted Yes because she answered the question on a radio show and the reason was that: People are born gay.

Since then, the lgbtq+++ and those who support them have been fodder for many of her social media posts, articles and shows (such as this and this).

In her 2017 article, she said:

Marriage Act would have zero impact on the lives of the majority of Australians, yet bring joy to those directly affected.

Changing the Marriage Act to include homosexuals did not have any impact on the lives of Australians? Ask people whose careers have been affected for not baking cakes or using preferred pronouns.

It doesn’t matter that the killer wasn’t illegal or that he wasn’t a Muslim.

This is racial. Indian, Pakistani, Rwandan— they are not ENGLISH. And as such should not be ruling or occupying ENGLAND.

In the UK, real nationalist voices have been censored and denied the media opportunities of Zionist figures like Tommy Robinson. The entire ledership of Patriotic Alternative were banned off this site last year, presumably at the request of the British state.

Obviously, if there is major unrest over immigration, people like Robinson will have the biggest audiences to put their narrative spin on it.

But the protests are absolutely an organic expression of nativist anger over diversity. Even with the effort of shills, the narrative has not become about counter-jihad, but is still focused on immigration and diversity. This is bad for the regime.

UK Riots: The agenda becomes clear

You cannot begin to fathom how irritating it is to the ruling class that ordinary people are allowed to just say whatever they want whenever they want – including having the audacity to fact check the media in real time, with no repercussions at all.

That, more than anything else, has stalled the Great Reset in its tracks.

    So it has to go.

    Finally and forever.

It’s why almost everything in the news cycle – from disease to climate change – can allegedly be “solved” with censorship.

Because once free speech is abolished everything that comes afterward gets so much easier – including the second agenda being pushed right now: Mass surveillance and facial recognition technology.

When it comes to this secondary goal the media are yet to reach the “call for action” phase. They are still locked into “fearmongering”, with widespread warnings about nineteen future “far-right” marches and calls to proscribe Tommy Robinson’s EDL as a “terrorist organization”

Which, again, has the useful secondary effect of making this gentleman look more like a genuine force for opposition.

My internet travels over the past few years have brought to my attention many media, social media and blog posters and commentators. I thought some of them were intelligent, conservative, perceptive people. However, the cascading world events taking place have revealed facets of these people by the reactions and opinions that they have shared online or elsewhere (such as talkback radio shows).

There were those who fully got the scam on Covid and it felt good to come across people on blogs, alternative media, social media who understood what was going on and did not fall for the hoax. They got it on the Great Reset, New World Order, Bilderberg. Then came Ukraine, and some fell for that. Then the Gaza war and more dropped off. Add to that the US Elections and more getting caught in the swindle.

It continues. Every now and then, I keep discovering some poster or blogger I thought to be genuinely committed to a cause, turns out to be either a fraud or someone who falls for the psyops taking place. It is a jolt to discover that some I took to be a genuine and trustworthy have turned out to be fake or fickle. Others who are shills. Or after personal gain such as dollars, clicks, followers, subscribers. Or some I thought were intelligent and rational, turned out to be gullible. Or cowards.

To those of you who come here for the serious reading and news, some advice:

Do not let yourself get intellectually complacent and simply swallow the news or info that you read or hear, anywhere. Be alert, and evaluate the data. Think critically. Don’t blindly follow anyone and take what they say as infallible.

When possible, I try to post links with my comments. This is so that you can check, read the details and arrive at your own conclusions – not mine, not anyone else’s. I share what I come across, but am constantly looking for facts – learning and revising as I keep getting further reports and updates on any topic.

If you make truth-seeking your priority, and apply rational, critical thinking, it will keep you on the right track.

I’ve whittled it down to a small number of people (mostly with relatively small platforms) whose reactions and opinions I’ve assessed as reliably truthful and insightful across issues/events, even if I don’t always agree on everything. But continually re-evaluating, as you say.

It can be disheartening to see people supposedly awake and thinking critically, and on the “same side” of truth/freedom, suddenly fall for what appears to be a new psyop, and then resentfully accuse those who don’t of having a warped perspective and wanting to bring others down (ironically, not unlike the usual “conspiracy theorist” put-downs)… but then you remember that it’s not about sides; it’s about the truth. Either something is true or it isn’t; no amount of “wanting to see psyops everywhere” can make something unreal if it’s real; and no amount of wanting to delimit the deception at Covid can make something true if it’s not. Take a break from it to maintain equilibrium, sure, but don’t demand the truth be something it’s not and don’t shoot the messenger.
