There are many Conservative sites and blogs. There are Conservative bloggers, posters, commentators on websites and social media. In context to the US 2024 election, there is a two/three way split: Trump, DeSantis and Ramaswamy (who is actually a Trump shill in there to take away votes from RDS).

Those who are not Trump supporters, especially high profile sites (exception Power Line) as well as bloggers and social media accounts with high followers are reluctant to say anything negative about Trump for fear of a backlash, losing donors or followers. This is not how true conservatives should behave.

Here on the blog, I am the only one who has stated my position (that is, I am no longer a Trump supporter) in several comments as well as in this post.

Since this is free speech blog paid for by the blog owner and does not depend on donations, I think we can be free to post our opinions. As for the traffic, we don’t have many coming to this blog to participate so we don’t have to worry about that. I’m sure that the few regulars who continue to contribute to this blog and help to keep it afloat will not be too worried that I am not in the pro-Trump camp.

So, I’ll keep posting on this topic. It is for the few who may come here because they care about the TRUTH and would like to learn the FACTS not the brainwashing taking place on this particular topic, not just in MSM but also in so-called Conservative media and blogs.

The Tucker-Trump interview vs Fox News Debate

    1/
    Some History

For at least a month, there were hints about a Trump interview with Tucker instead of the debates. It may have been a secret and got leaked or was intentionally leaked. There was also the rumour that the interview would take place at the same time as the Fox debate.

The day before the debate, it was in the news about the interview being on the same day and time as the debate. So there was plenty of publicity. Trump’s team was also running around on social media passing the message.

Elon would have known about this interview before it was posted. Each of the players had a motive.

    – Trump wanted the attention on himself and did not want to face a debate. Also revenge on Fox News.
    – Tucker wanted the clicks on his interview post. Also revenge on Fox News.
    – Elon wanted increased traffic on Twitter and this was great. A high profile interviewer and a former and wanna-be President again.

And yesterday, Trump put out his first post on Twitter after over 2 years. More traffic for Elon.
One good turn deserves another. All players happy.

    America First?
None of the above. Each is in it for their own gain.

It’s certainly a relief to know that I am not just talking to myself on this blog ^.^.
It is a free speech site and anyone can post their opinions, whether they agree or disagree. The blog rules only require that the disagreements and differing opinions do not turn into abuse or personal attacks. Go ahead and voice your views.

Most of my comments have links/evidence added so that the reader can read, think, fact-check, analyse and arrive at their own verdicts. It really helps if in addition to your impressions you can add some links/evidence, too. This helps readers to look at all sides of an issue and either continue to hold the same belief or to change it if there is enough proof to convince us otherwise.

I believe that the US 2024 election is critical and the result will have a huge impact not just in the US but the rest of the world. That is why I am spending so much time posting on it.

Many times I write long comments, and the reason is because I want to provide as much info as possible. This includes what I have gained from my research and I add the links as well. But all of this takes up a great deal of time. I do it because I want to pass on what I have gained so that others may benefit from it too. Read what is in my comment but also follow up the details in the links which may be articles, twitter posts, videos, clips, podcasts (I cannot fact check everything). Arrive at your own conclusions. But if you are only taking from what others post and don’t bother to share from your own knowledge, it becomes a one-way street.

EofT, thanks for your response and the feedback re Trump. I am glad that there is at least one other person on the blog who has questions about him instead of believing that he is THE one who can save America. You have made some good points and I want to respond to them.

I have no way of knowing the truth about what is going on with Trump or the Republican Party.

On the general subject of Truth and Facts about any news, my method:
I have the same access to news as anyone who is reading this comment. I only have an internet connection that allows me entry into the online world. The truth isn’t what the media or the majority say. One has to dig for it and that takes time and effort.

Over many years, I have checked sites, worked out which are worth bookmarking, and which should be rejected. My reading time is spent in 3 streams:

1/ The MSM/Legacy media which is mostly biased and left-leaning
2/ Conservative media which offers news from a centre-right/conservative focus and usually reliable
3/ Social media which is mainly Twitter (Site X). This is a tricky area. I have used the system of sifting through the good and bad, and when I come across accounts of some people who post content that is based on research or a great deal of thought and analysis and is intelligent, I bookmark them and read what they post. The rest is just waffle or sewage.

What is the truth? What are the facts? It would be difficult to verify everything, but the above sources give me a fairly balanced coverage of news. That is how I have been educating myself because the wider the sources of news, opinions and commentary, the better one is able to get facts and arrive at rational conclusions and views.

To be honest, I don’t think that politics will help us in our current dilemma. What we face is a huge spiritual problem

We certainly have a spiritual problem. We have traded Christianity for secular religions like sports, wokeism, global warming and so on. Even those who may say that they are Conservatives or even Christians have a lukewarm attitude to the faith.

I do post some links or Christian-related topics sometimes, but I wonder if there is any point to it if I am the only one who considers it relevant. If you want to join in and post on spiritual themes it would be great. I think this blog is unique in that we don’t have negativity, abuse or sniping, so we can just share on subjects that matter to us. Everyone has the option to scroll past if the topic doesn’t interest them.

In November 2020, from the day of the US Election to the days that followed of vote counting, I had a candle burning and was praying for a Trump/Republican victory.

I knew that Trump had his faults, but I had overlooked them during the period of his presidency and months that followed. But in early 2021 I began to see aspects of his character that I was not comfortable with, and I realised that I could no longer keep blinking and saying that Trump was still the answer to the world’s problems.

No one is perfect – but what are the faults that can be acceptable as “human”, and how far was I prepared to go to condone what he said or did? If I could pass it all off as “okay” and “justified”, it would be a reflection of my moral code and values.

I am far from perfect – I have failings. But my conscience tells me when I do something that is wrong. I cannot make excuses, justify my actions and move on. But if a person believes that he is always right, can do/say anything, has no regrets about the way he treats others who he considers dispensable/unimportant or an opponent, or is loose with the truth, I have to ask myself if I am prepared to support such a person?

What do we do to make a change and bring our society back to living by a code of values and morals? Especially, when the people are those in positions of power and leadership?

    A few examples:
    – Stop voting for candidates who do not possess a moral code and cannot tell the different between right and wrong.
    – Stop applauding people who believe in “success” and “winning” at any price.
    – Be prepared to speak up (on radio talkback or within our circles of family, friends, colleagues) or post comments or articles (on blogs).

Trump is not about America First or about any other person or cause. His priority is Donald J Trump and he doesn’t care who or what he has to step over to get what he wants.

If after knowing what I now know I still continue as a Trump supporter, I am saying that what he says and does meets with my approval. It’s okay. Acceptable. That it is fine to have such a person as a leader, especially a leader of the free world. That his moral code is also my moral code.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has called for the firing of US Ambassador to Hungary David Pressman, saying the diplomat has undermined the interests of Americans by trying to impose an LGBTQ agenda rather than building stronger relations with Budapest.

Speaking at an event earlier this week in Budapest, Carlson said he was compelled to apologize for the treatment of Hungary by President Joe Biden’s administration. “The world is realigning at high speed and turning against the United States, but the Biden administration is spending its time harassing one of our last sincere allies in Europe, Hungary, for the crime of being too Christian,” he said.

Carlson claimed that Biden administration officials hate Hungary, just as they hate Russia, for defending Christian values. Pressman, a California-born lawyer who formerly worked as an aide to then-US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, has harangued Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s government for policies restricting promotion of LGBTQ lifestyles…

I am continually surprised by the number of normally conservative people and sites, many who are Christians who promote the teachings of the Church, who are so taken in by two Con-sters among the 2024 candidates. My only conclusion is that they probably are not aware of all the facts. Or maybe they are but don’t care. I hope it is the former not the latter. I doubt any of these people read this blog, but I am on my mission to share what I come across for other truth seekers.

In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion stalks with power. He doesn’t tell everyone that HE is king. It is obvious. He doesn’t point to the rabbit scurrying near the hedge and announce the HE is so much bigger and stronger than the rabbit. There is no need; it is evident.

Only someone who lacks self-respect and self-confidence needs to spend their time in such low-level activity.

The second case is a man, a rich guy, who is posing in boots to sell them and make more money from Magadonians. The same guy who, along with his father, supported Disney and Bud Light for personal gains, instead of fighting with conservatives against the tranny agenda. And he is trying to ridicule the man who is doing what is best for families?

While it may not technically be the peak of the super blue moon, the best time to see it will be tonight, Wednesday 30 August, at dusk.

The moon will be rising from 4:31pm AEST this evening, and so from sunset at 5:30pm onwards, conditions will be right to catch a glimpse of the super blue moon.

The moon will technically be at its fullest at 11:35 am on Thursday morning, and will still appear larger than life on Thursday night, but tonight will offer the best conditions.

The TDS is becoming tedious, kaysee.

    Eyrie,

For the time that this blog has been running, we’ve had thousands of comments with facts exposing:
    – The Covid scam
    – The Global warming scam
    – The Qwerty scam
    – The Woke scams
    – The Ukraine war scam
    – The WEF, UN Globalist, NWO agenda
    – +++ Other scams

That’s all been okay, no objections. Some of the topics have been repeated over and over, several times a day. But revealing the Trump-is-god scam……is not okay? Do the blog readers find comments with facts and proof on the subject of Trump and the US Elections monotonous, dreary, boring? Criticism of Trump and MAGA is now called TDS?

Is that because it contains Fake News or Inconvenient Truths?

    Notes:
    – It is not compulsory for anyone to read my comments. If they are tedious and dull, ignore them.
    – Anyone wishing to debate, disagree or query any point that I have posted is welcome to do so.
    – Most of my comments are backed by links that provide evidence/proof.
    – If anyone has proof that what I have posted is wrong, incorrect, a lie or a derangement, prove it.

I’m posting for truth-seekers and one of the biggest scams underway is the one, rather sadly, in the “conservative” world. There are some who are slowly waking up, but the gaslighting has been so strong that it may take time. My concern is what will happen here in Australia and the world if the Dems win in 2024. And that possible win is connected to the Trump-is-god scam.

This is a mostly serious blog dealing with important topics. I am committed to the battle for truth and freedom and will continue to post as and when time permits. As I’ve said, anyone who doesn’t like the truth can use your scroller.

I don’t mind an intelligent debate, disagreement or dissection of a topic because it helps to clarify points, and we all get educated in the process. I have no problem with opinions or feedback, even if negative, but please present some details and facts to make your case. Throwaway one-liners are not helpful. If my comments exposing the MAGA syndrome – the lies, hypocrisy and double standards related to the US 2024 Elections – are interpreted as TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), it won’t bother me. The truth is not always palatable.
