Hi Cats,
As you can see I have created a copy of the Cat for you to continue to bicker, argue and occasionally make a reasonable point.
I do hope a solution is found with the original Cat but just in case Sinc doesn’t want to transfer the site to a new generation I have built a replica before the closure so we can migrate as many of the community across as possible.
Programming Note: I rushed out the site so there will be bugs. I can get them fixed but did not want perfection to get in the way for progress.
Community Note: Please let as many cats know of the new blog as soon as possible so we can capture the magic of the original. In particular would love for the original posters to continue their great work here.
Ideological Note: I am an infrequent poster but long time reader of the Cat. The discussions there have been a huge part of my own ideological growth on many issues. In particular free speech is key for me so will have a very similar light touch to the original Cat, potentially adopting my one policy on an earlier forum I built: “No D***heads” which is subjective but surprisingly easy to implement.
Website Note: I will run the Cat as close to possible as the original because I don’t believe in re-inventing the wheel. However if the community so wants I am happy to make changes to improve the experience so if you have any ideas let me know. For anything specific hit me up at the contact form, else go nuts in the comments.

You are on the right track but still falling for the same sleight of hand. If you just put the Libs/Nats last then Labor are guaranteed to get in, and all you’ll get is more of the same – like we have fo the last 50 years.
Instead, forget about parties and put the SITTING MEMBER last, if they are Lib, Labor or Nat. Vote whoever you like first, as long as the sitting member is last, if they are Lib, Lab or Nat.

If I didn’t keep in touch with the independent virologists, front line cover care doctors etc I would think I was barmy…. as it is, they are giving me hope that there will be a way out of this when the masses regain their equilibrium. That may follow the collapse of all their “precautions”. This,of course, is happening with the vaccine “breakthroughs” etc. There is only so much denial that can be endured.

Riccardo, I was interested in getting involved with Aust one but let me be Frank.
(well not LL type Frank), I then had to go on the road again interstate (passing through all state borders never ever having a test) so wasn’t able to commit.
I must be honest and say that although you might be right regarding p e d o of the elites etc, I thought it was poor politics to bring it up as it encouraged the whack jobs as I noted there were on your zoom meetings. Some things, for the greater good, need to be considered as the Australian public are so far behind the eight ball on any of this.
Once they can, in any way make you look like a conspiracy theorist whack job, they’ll go to town, as I am now sure you are aware.
LL relishes in it, even when now, the conspiracy theorists like myself have been proven right.
I’ll be straight forward with you, I thought it was poor politicking.
I am now in another job that gives me more time and am very much considering standing as a no lockdown independent.
I’d love to throw my hat in the ring there with you guys but that made me think twice.
I know you are angry, we all are, but do you admit that it was poor form.
