Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) community members have formed the MIT Free Speech Alliance and are advocating for the adoption of stronger academic freedom protections after a secret ballot among the school’s faculty members revealed that more than half of them feel their voices are constrained by the university on an “everyday basis.”
The MIT community is fighting back now that a majority of them are worried that their voice or their colleagues’ voices are “increasingly in jeopardy,” according to a press release by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE).
The newly formed MIT Free Speech Alliance is “a group of alumni, faculty, students and friends of MIT who have been woken up by the recent Abbot Affair and have come together to advocate for MIT’s support for free speech, open inquiry, and viewpoint diversity,” FIRE notes.
Additionally, two MIT alumni, Tom Hafer and Henry I. Miller, have written a letter to the school stating that they will stop donating to the institute for caving to “woke” ideology.

– Delta is not even starting to slow down in Denmark, judged by absolute number of cases
– Greater affinity of Omikron to the vaccinated, going beyond just no protection compared to the unvaxxed, raises concern that vaccination causes ADE (Antibody dependent enhancement)
– Denmark’s report suspiciously is missing vaccination status of the hospitalized

I am looking at the points listed in Cardimona’s letter and checking them against The Australian Constitution.
Some points are straight-forward but if there is someone with a legal background who could analyse the illegality of each of the covid mandates (masks, vaccines, QR codes, lockdowns) with reference to the specific sections of the Constitution, it would be helpful to then use those facts when dealing with someone who is trying to force these mandates on us.
This is just one mans opinion. For the record, I agree with him. Marching down the street listening to John Farnham – Your the Voice and hippies playing bongo drums was never going to make a significant dent.
The big focus should have been on the WEF – WHO, Klaus, Gates and Fauci etc. Happy to be corrected, but not once did I hear anyone going ballistic on the subject when addressing the crowds at these rallies.
People no doubt would have been on their phones looking up those pricks after being drawn attention them, but it didn’t happen…no doubt many would have been asking themselves “who are they?” Most I reckon don’t have a clue in this country. I did see a few ( bugger all ) WEF signs at various marches online, however they were lost in the noise.

My take. Those previous protests were a perfect opportunity to highlight Klaus and Co and perhaps provide a spark for people to research it. They didn’t get that spark. And many still don’t know. That needs to change, quickly.

People uniting and fighting back, masks not being worn etc etc. Especially up north…regional Queensland not complying. People are organising to go in unmasked in groups if enthusiastic Nazis pull people up for non compliance.
Don’t get me wrong, you can still see a lot of masks but it’s about 50/50 around here, remembering some will just refuse to go out rather than wear one. Our local reps have locked their doors such has been the abuse they have been copping and rightly so. If only I were naive to believe this was the only level of tyranny we will face I would claim victory here. However, let’s be realistic.
But all in all, I have been much heartened by the people around me and have preferred fighting with them instead of fighting with the compliant over at the scaredy-cat. Good for one’s soul.
