Le Pen came across as better prepared and Macron more combative compared with five years ago. There were no huge surprises in the rather technical debate, which lasted more than two and a half hours

Neither Macron nor Le Pen had a big meltdown, and this may be viewed as a success in itself for Le Pen, who had failed in her previous confrontation with Macron in 2017. Opinion polls will tell if there’s any change in perception following tonight’s broadcast

Macron and Le Pen reaffirmed their positions: Macron says the vote will be a referendum on the European Union, on French-German relations and on climate policies. Le Pen insists the French will be better off on purchasing power and security under her rule

On the cost-of-living crisis – the key topic for French voters in this election – Le Pan touted her pledge for permanent cuts to sales and income taxes, while Macron said he would only keep price-cap measures in place until things get back to normal and he would focus on employment as a way to put more money in people’s pockets

    Deceptive Edits:
Audio Contradicts Piers Morgan, Shows He Warped Trump Interview Ending in Promo

Audio provided by former President Donald Trump’s team to Breitbart News of the end of Trump’s interview with Piers Morgan proves that Morgan and his team deceptively edited the interview to make it appear as though it was a contentious ending when it was not.

A 30-second promotional clip that Morgan released on Wednesday afternoon seemed to show Trump flying off the handle and walking out mid-interview as a righteous Morgan asked him tough questions about his views on the 2020 election. But the full story seems to indicate that Morgan’s team deceptively edited the clips together to make it as nasty as possible for Trump—and to drive up the ratings for Morgan’s new show. Morgan’s new show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, launches next week on Talk TV, a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.

I recently downloaded the free “DAW” Traktion Waveform and added a ‘Jessie’s Girl’ YouTube drum solo audio track that I downloaded to put drums behind him and it came out rather well – both artists were in time quite well (131 bpm?) so it synched up rather well considering it was an impromptu practice session on my son’s behalf.
I see that artists such as Rick apparently encourage remixes of their work as it probably renews interest and promotes sales of their back catalogue.

Volcker “knew that in order to tame inflation and heal the economy, he had to stay the course,” Powell said.

The Volcker Fed ultimately took the benchmark rate to nearly 20%; it currently sits in a range between 0.25% and 0.50%.
