    Nike goes trans

Athletic apparel giant Nike doubled down on its decision to use transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in marketing campaigns to promote the company’s female clothing.

In a pinned comment to Nike’s verified Instagram account, the company instructed customers to “Be kind, be inclusive … Encourage each other.”

The response came amid calls for a boycott of the company shortly after Mulvaney, who identifies as female, appeared in paid social media content dancing in Nike women’s sportswear.

Civilians in Donetsk being shelled again. This has been going on for 9 years now yet western media would have us believe that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was totally unprovoked.

The ICC charges against Putin for kidnapping children from these front line cities and towns are ridiculous, their parents send their children to safety in Russia to keep them out of harms way. Does the ICC want to see more children killed?

    George Christensen Show

Finally, I received a veritable science lesson from prolific letter-to-the-editor writer Peter Campion.

George Christensen introducing Peter Campion on his show mentions Peter’s letter-writing and that he has had over 1,000 letters published.

This is citizen activism at its very best. We need people to do more of what Peter does. And put their thoughts into the local papers because that’s how we spread freedom people, by spreading our ideas. We do that by writing letters, we do that by public speaking … all that is under attack these days by Peter keeps on doing it…...

    Over 1,000 letters published.
    Great effort, Peter.

I like Christensen’s phrase citizen activism. We can’t all manage to write letters and get them published or be public speakers. Christensen missed out another way that we can spread our ideas. By posting on blogs. Cat blogs like Catallaxy Files. Just keep posting comments, info, news, ideas, opinions to get the facts out there.

Like the Open Thread last week. Well done to all the Cat citizen activists who posted their comments on the threads. Thanks, all.

I’ve said this before. I want to say it again. There are a few regular commenters on the blog, but there is one who has been keeping this blog going just posting comments every day. Off and on, through the day. That is mh – I don’t think he has missed a single day here and he keeps adding comments to keep the blog alive and active. There are many who say they would contribute but they don’t have anything to share. It is not always easy finding something to post, but mh does it.

    Thanks, mh. I appreciate it.

Yesterday morning, I switched on the radio to catch up on the news. The radio station has a fair percentage of Conservative listeners and I would have thought the presenter (Pete) was also Conservative (though a fence-sitter may be more likely). He could also be allergic to Christianity.

In keeping with the day, one caller, a Christian, talked about an experience as a child – he was a bit emotional as he narrated it – and it was connected to Good Friday. At the first available opportunity, the presenter managed to halt the conversation because there were “other callers” waiting to speak. If a caller had rung to talk about the Oz religion, sports – to discuss the previous night’s big match, there would have been plenty of time to chat about that.

I tuned in at mid-day to listen to the news headlines again, and listened to a few minutes of the next show. This presenter put forward the discussion point that some public holidays should be removed, like Good Friday and Easter Monday, because according to the census the majority of people are not Christians.

This is secular Australia. The western world which has benefitted from the foundations laid by Christianity, long before they were born, are now so pleased with their material possessions and comfortable lives that God is deemed irrelevant and can be consigned to the bin.

By the time they work out the link between a godless society and the mess of Marxist ideologies that are incorporated in every organisation, it will be too late.

When they get blocked on Twitter, they post that on the other social media sites. Then their followers there read it and tweet and retweet it till it gets to the Twitter HQ censor board.

Cold-Hands, I do not have a Twitter account but I “follow” some of the good accounts as they are informative.I’ve come across some who are announcing that they have recently been freed from the prison. It could be a slow process dealing with the long queue of the anti-vaxxers who were shut out? It may be that under the previous rule there were a number of codes and algorithms used to block users. Are they cleaning that up or is it too complicated?

I am not sure what Elon’s plans are when he says “free speech”. Of course, there need to some regulations to manage such a large platform, but it depends on who is in charge.

There has be little to no explanation as to how the amnesty is being managed. It could be largest blocked accounts to smallest (in terms of how many followers the account has), or oldest to latest accounts blocked, or some other unguessed at method. However, it’s been over 4 months and one wouldn’t think it would take that long to unblock accounts- just see why the account was blocked, and if it wasn’t for illegality or spam, re-instate it. Cold-Hands, I have limited free time to spend on the internet. So I have to use it carefully. I pick up as much info as I can, as quickly as I can. Instead of being a part of social media and imagining my comments are being read by thousands of people and that I am a great influencer, I prefer to come here to do my posting.

When I set up the CatWiki, it was keeping in mind the proverb ‘each one teach one’. There are parts of social media that can be a sewer. Having to be careful that what one posts will displease the chieftains, depending on their agenda, is not worthwhile for me. I have no problem with clear rules; after all the site/media owner is ultimately responsible for the content posted on their site.

My belief and hope is that by sharing the info that I have learnt elsewhere or the opinions that I have formed through my research and analysis may be of use to (at least) one other person and that that one person will in turn pass on to (at least) one other person. And in that way it brings about some change. May just be small, but it is still change for the better.

I keep encouraging those who lurk to come and post what they know (info) or think (opinions) so that we are all sharing and learning. I have learnt much from what has been shared on many sites, as well as what is shared here and the previous Cat2. So I cannot sit back and be passive in the limited time that I have.

There are so many critical issues in the world right now, I don’t know which one to focus on. But as I see it, the three major current ones:

    – China and its growing power
    – Wokeism with special emphasis on trannyism
    – 2024 US election

I will skip the one about China, for now.

Conservatives are mostly united on the entire qwertyism as a general disruptive force, but especially trannyism as a mental illness.

However, when it comes to the subject of the GOP candidate for 2024, I am surprised at what I am reading on various sites. Many conservative commentators, sites, bloggers that I had some respect for seem to be totally under the spell of one of the contestants.

My opinions and thoughts are based on the reading, reflections and analysis from various sources, over the past few years. Many on this blog will not agree with what I post and that does not worry me. On the topic of the US 2024 election, I don’t have any personal connections with any of the people concerned. I am not a US citizen so I don’t have a vote. I doubt any of the readers of this blog are Americans who will influenced by our discussions here. But what happens in the US affects us all.

I don’t have any agenda except a great concern about the outcome of the 2024 US election. So in that sense, I am sharing from my perspective. I have no problems with anyone disagreeing with what I say or wanting to debate some point.

Yes, it was a strange outburst from Rubio. He was saying that America has gone into Europe to destroy Ukraine and the European economies and take away their cheap energy supplies, so why isn’t France appreciative of their endeavours.

Macron should have reminded Rubio that the American colonialists would not have won their war of independence from Britain without French support.

We are led by moral and intellectual pygmies, no Australian leader would dare say what Macron said.

That’s because the Aussie “leaders” are sitting in a safe zone. No threats from the people who elected them. All red mainland. All good.

If those who are awake to the evils of the NWO, UN, WEF and the other globalists unite and revolt against their governments, the politicians will take a U-turn and suddenly put what is best for the country before the commands of their puppet masters at the UN.

Macron has turned “brave” because of the revolts that have been taking place in France. He had money for Ukraine in January this year, but nothing left for the pensions of the French people.

Now that his own position is under threat, Macron decides to distance himself from the US.

Pygmies turn into giants when their own survival is on the line. Then they will toss the UN/ WEF/ NWO under the bus. But are there enough awake citizens in Australia ready to metaphorically lynch the pygmies? Or will they awaken only when the fire hits their backyards?

    @RobertKennedyJr
The collapse of U.S. influence over Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom’s new alliances with China and Iran are painful emblems of the abject failure of the Neocon strategy of maintaining U.S. global hegemony with aggressive projections of military power. China has displaced the American Empire by deftly projecting, instead, economic power. Over the past decade, our country has spent trillions bombing roads, ports, bridges, and airports. China spent the equivalent building the same across the developing world. The Ukraine war is the final collapse of the Neocon’s short-lived “American Century.” The Neocon projects in Iraq and Ukraine have cost $8.1 trillion, hollowed out our middle class, made a laughingstock of U.S. military power and moral authority, pushed China and Russia into an invincible alliance, destroyed the dollar as the global currency, cost millions of lives and done nothing to advance democracy or win friendships or influence.

A year ago, after the Ukraine war started, a number of conservatives had the Ukraine flag in their social media profiles. As months passed, those flags slowly dropped off, as those who had believed they were supporting good Ukraine against bad Russia began to realise the truth.

Not sure if the same will happen with the Forever Trumpers against anyone else (also termed RINOs). The indictment is a distraction ploy by the Dems. It will keep Trump, his supporters and the media occupied with the circus, while the Dems are busy picking up seats at various levels. And plotting on how to “win” 2024.

Take the case of Wisconsin – last week. While the Trump saga was on in NY, the conservatives lost their majority in the Supreme court. Will their super majority in the Senate help reverse that?

Ronna McDaniel was missing in action while the GOP continues to lose. The GOP candidate, Daniel Kelly, did not get support and funds from GOP. Trump backed this same Ronna McDaniel to be re-elected as the GOP Chair. And she is blaming this loss on the abortion laws. Just like Trump did at the mid-terms.

I am going to be a single issue voter in the primaries. I will vote for whichever candidate has the best chance of winning the general. That is literally the only thing that matters. You have to win. If you don’t win, everything else is irrelevant. Winning is everything right now

Between Trump and DeSantis, both sides aren’t focusing enough on this point. It doesn’t matter if you think Trump should get another chance to “finish the job.” It doesn’t matter if you like DeSantis’s policies. Explain how either guy will win. Lay out the path to victory.

In the coming years, when the state experiences rolling blackouts and businesses start closing down due to costs, we’ll wait for solutions from the same Climate Council. If they were really concerned about what is best for the state and country, they would be learning from what is happening in Europe.

Why French Bakeries In France Are Suddenly Shutting Down At Alarming Rates

French bakeries are the lifeblood of many cities, towns, and villages, providing daily sustenance to people at every point of the socioeconomic spectrum. Therefore, the loss of a beloved bakery has a strong impact when it happens. But the costs of energy and raw ingredients are doubling and tripling so fast that many bakers simply call it quits.

They are perfectly happy being here because their mission in life is to destroy “here” and replace it with something else. I do not think they wish to change “here” because they don’t like “here” but in order to exercise power. There’s no rational reason for someone like the person in question to be unhappy in the UK – this is not an oppressed person who is very poor, with no prospects. As with most social justice fanatics, they are comfortably off people who have benefited from this country enormously. Their reasons for wanting change are much more sinister and unpleasant.
