Assuming liquid hydrogen specific gravity 0.07 vs petrol specific gravity 0.7 or thereabouts, hydrogen has about 3 and a bit times the energy per kilogram so three is about right.

Are we talking about using liquid hydrogen as a fuel for cars??

    I think there’s a few real-life problems doing that…

Kathy Barnette Attacked Trump in 2016 GOP Primary: ‘Horrid,’ ‘Very Little Substance,’ ‘Moral Character is Questionable’
    Breitbart

There are several questions to this whole issue of who should be the GOP Senate candidate for Pennsylvania.

Kathy Barnette is an unknown who is not willing to answer questions about her past. So, what is she hiding?

On the other hand, Mehmet Oz is not a Conservative – he is a RINO. There is plenty in his past to show that he supports woke/lefty causes. One story is that Trump has endorsed him is because Hannity asked him to do so.

Now Hannity, Oz and others are trying to discredit Barnette.

    Statement by Trump

“Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats. She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.”

Trump says Barnette has things in her past which are not explained/vetted. True.

How well did he vet Pence, Barr and a number of others before he selected them? What about the question marks in his own past that get dug up? Why is he endorsing a RINO?

Barnette may turn out to be a terrible person but there seem to be many who are prepared to vote for her rather than Oz.

The YouGov poll by NewsCorp is supposed to reflect reality in the voting intentions of the public. It is very depressing – it seems the duopoly (as Labor) will get back in with a comfortable majority.

Clive Palmer is spending nearly 100 million, and yet the Teal Greens with a lower amount will be getting in a number of candidates?

And after all that has taken place in the past two years – the lies, the loss of freedoms, the restrictions – the public still don’t get it? I hope that the people being polled are lying to the pollsters, or will come to their senses before May 21.

We keep saying silent majority. Maybe it is the silent, stupid majority. I was close to tears (of despair) when I read this from Cairns News. They are thinking of closing shop.

Unintelligent majority has not yet caught on

A week to go. It ain’t over till the fat lady does her crooning.

He’s upholding that office, really well.

    There’s more.

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul defied leaders of both parties and single-handedly prevented rapid Senate approval Thursday of an additional $40 billion to help Ukraine and it’s allies withstand Russia’s three month old invasion!

Greens ‘all sorts of policies’: Plibersek

Shadow Minister for Education Tanya Plibersek says the Greens have “all sorts of policies” in response to their announcement to abolish border security.

Ms Plibersek said Labor is not making any deals.

“They, you know, got all sorts of polices that I don’t agree with,” she told Sky News Australia.

    “We’re not making any deals.”

The recent crypto meltdown, which has seen billions of dollars wiped off the market, has in large part been sparked by the crash of a controversial stablecoin known as TerraUSD or UST, which is supposed to be pegged one-to-one with the U.S. dollar.

UST has however lost its peg and on Friday was trading at around 14 cents, according to data from CoinGecko.

Luna, a token closely associated with UST, is now worth $0 as a result.

Yeah – at 10,000 psi it’s gonna leave a mark….& that’s without the hydrogen exploding

Last Friday’s Trafalgar Poll shows Oz with a three-point lead over McCormick, 22.7% to 19.7%, with conservative commentator Kathy Barnette at 18.4%, ambassador Carla Sands at 11.2% and real estate developer Jeff Bartos at 7.4%. The margin of error is +/- 2.99%.

‘Teal Greens’ in the Doctors Wives suburbs?
    Quelle surprise!

A growing number of Liberal and National party MPs face credible challenges from independents highlighting climate action at the federal election. In six Liberal-held seats – Wentworth, North Sydney, Kooyong, Goldstein and Curtin – they appear to be the main opposition, and in others they hope to at least attract a significant primary vote and potentially influence the outcome through preferences.

Barnette, a conservative commentator who has run a tireless campaign on a shoestring budget, had the support of 23.2% of likely GOP voters in the survey released late Sunday by the Republican Trafalgar Group. That put her right alongside Oz (24.5%) and McCormick (21.6%). Factoring in a margin of error of 3 percentage points, the poll suggests the candidates are effectively tied.

The results are similar to a Trafalgar poll in April, adding to the evidence that Barnette has emerged as the likely alternative to her ultra-wealthy rivals Oz and McCormick. Despite each of them spending more than $11 million apiece from their own pockets, neither has been able to run away with the race.

If the margin of error is 3%, those aren’t bad odds.
Trump was pumping up the Johnson & Johnson heir as having “lots of cash” during a speech for Oz. Was that a message to the Barnette camp?

The Republican machine has been out in force over the past few days, speaking out against Barnette. Negative articles have appeared in Breitbart and the Washington Examiner. Sean Hannity has spoken against her on his nightly Fox News show.

Barnette responded via Twitter. “The establishment will do anything to hold on to their power. There is no trick too dirty and no lie too big. Remember, this is what they think of us.”

And now the Club for Growth has stepped in to have Barnette’s back. Formerly in the Trump camp, the group announced a $1.9 million ad buy for her in PA in the final days. It’s not a small amount, as Barnette has spent just $160,000 on TV since launching her campaign last April. Her deep-pocketed opponents have combined to spend about $53 million over the air.

Books will be written about the 2022 U.S. Senate primary in Pennsylvania. And with Barnette’s surge in the polls, the final chapter has yet to be written.

    West Coast Eagles nightclub saga

Adam Simpson says the West Coast Eagles have moved on from the nightclub saga that left seven players fined and jeopardised the club’s ability to field a team last week.

The decimated Eagles needed to draw from their Covid contingency list for the clash with Brisbane and were disappointed to learn that, despite the club’s dire personnel crisis, seven players risked contracting Covid by attending a Perth nightclub the weekend prior.
