    The story of former socialite and high flyer Glen-Marie Frost who has suddenly become homeless in her 60s, joining the swelling ranks of women over 50 with nowhere to live

    After marrying 2 multi millionaires but leaving with nothing GMF, whose main skills seem to have been drinking cocktails and wearing expensive dresses finds she can’t pay the rent on her lavish accommodation. Luckily Helen Coonan, and then a series of high flying friends like Michael Yabsley offer her accommodation in a series of palatial granny flats on their properties where she outstays her welcome. On one occasion, between such largesse, she has to sleep in her car for 2 days. “She needs a job” say her wealthy friends who parachute her into a job selling real estate, where she sells zero properties and is ousted. She has a sore knee and finds to her shock that she doesn’t have private health cover and has to wait four!!! months!!! for surgery (which seems pretty quick compared to the rest of us with knackered knees) after which she goes on the public housing waiting list and in only four!!! months!!! lands a little flat and is invited into to participate in voluntary work where she gets to interview other wymmins, who weren’t socialites, they just got old, who have fallen on hard times and tries to help them into accomodation.
    The interview with the GayBC took place in a lavish apartment with ornate curios, fine furniture and other luxuries where she seemed quite at home. I’m presuming this is pretty standard for the unfortunate homeless wymmins.
    Well worth the 30 minutes I spent saying “good grief” and “for Pete’s sake” watching it.

    I do like the show Frasier but I’ve always been a bit perplexed by the theme song “Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs”. For some reason I Brave’d it. The various sites explain it similarly. Except for Urban Dictionary.

    This Rivers of Blood speech was delivered by Enoch Powell in 1968.

    For making a reference to this speech, a preacher has been cancelled from filming a program to be telecast on GB News on Easter Sunday.

    Who cancelled whom? And why?

    Calvin Robinson is an Anglican deacon who preaches about the teachings of Christ. He is of mixed-race heritage with his father’s family from Jamaica/Nigeria. A few months ago, he wrote an article that referenced the Enoch Powell speech. Robinson is critical of diversity, immigration, critical race theory. He holds conservative views on marriage, sexuality, gender, abortion and race.

    For this he has been cancelled by a Ccatholic choir who complained to the priest about Calvin’s views calling them homophobic and hateful.

    It is the so-called catholic choir and the priest and monsignor are the ones who are wrong. Deacon Calvin Robinson has been cancelled because he is unwoke. He is a defender of the Bible and Christian teachings. Were there some qwerty singers who got him cancelled?

    …And in a series of jabs at his likely biggest Republican nominee rival, DeSantis slammed Trump over his character failings, chaotic leadership style, and for his handling of the COVID pandemic — especially in keeping controversial health chief Dr. Anthony Fauci in his post helping to run the White House Coronavirus Taskforce.

    Trump even awarded a presidential commendation medal to Fauci in one of his last acts as president.

    When I asked DeSantis to cite specific differences between him and Trump, he said: “Well I think there’s a few things. The approach to COVID was different. I would have fired somebody like Fauci. I think he got way too big for his britches, and I think he did a lot of damage.”

    DeSantis also slammed Trump’s chaotic, self-obsessed, and divisive management style, saying: “I also think just in terms of my approach to leadership, I get personnel in the Government who have the agenda of the people and share our agenda. You bring your own agenda in you’re gone. We’re just not gonna have that. So, the way we run the Government I think is no daily drama, focus on the big picture and put points on the board and I think that’s something that’s very important.”

    Video has emerged showing LGBTQ protesters pleading with police to be escorted to safety as they are surrounded by hundreds of people outside a church where One Nation NSW leader Mark Latham was speaking in Sydney’s south-west.

    About 15 members of the Community Action for Rainbow Rights group were outside St Michael’s Church in Belfield where Latham was holding an event on Tuesday night.

    The event had been promoted by the church as a community forum on religious freedom and parental rights with Latham as the keynote speaker. The protesters said they were opposing the One Nation leader’s policies on the trans community.

    Two people have since been charged by police.

    In the footage, protesters call out “we are leaving” repeatedly to the group of hundreds.

    As the group presses closer one man can be seen punching the head of a protester as police bring the Rainbow Rights protesters into a circle, telling them to “close your eyes”…

    Great story in the Oz about Melbourne Fashion week. One of the gals was wearing a dress (is that what you call it?) with الله يمشي معي written all over it ( Allah walks with me) and the ire of Islam has come down on them. Unlike this link, the Oz had an un-blurred photo. So we’ll see if the Oz has now offended the effendi. Of course the designer and the festival director have profusely apologized to the world of Islam. Again it is Salaam – it means ‘submit’. My money is on Islam to win every time.

    This is very strange.

    Very strange indeed. The link purports to be a news article from the ABC, yet there’s no record of this article on the ABC website. It also mentions that the “Bank of Australia” tried to shutdown the broadcast, but there isn’t a “Bank of Australia”. There is a Bank Australia (no “of”) which was a Melbourne credit union.

    You can read a similar story here SPECIAL REPORT: Richard Wilkins’ Latest Investment Has The Government And Big Banks Terrified but here are differences in the storyline. The Time Business News article states that it was a Richard Wilkins / Waleed Aly interview, and that it was the National Australia Bank which tried to block the broadcast.

    It sounds like a ponzi pyramid scheme, keep your $375 in your pocket.

    Did Lidia Thorpe show any concern for police actions when anti-lockdown protestors were getting sprayed, kicked and bludgeoned by cops?

    If I was sending money to that particular hell-hole, there’s a bloke in Donetsk who had his house and wife blown up with an American HIMARS missile who might be more deserving.
