Australia is finally nearing the end of lockdowns after more than a year and a half of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Don’t think so. They’re ramping up the Christmas variant. Prof Paul Kelly has just stated it’s not his job to order a lockdown but he’ll make recommendations. Remember, it’s just another brick in the wall of the grand scheme. We need a newsworthy event that scares our overlords to the bone. It won’t come from opposition politicians. And much as I like the stuff in the Senate by Alex Antic, Malcolm Roberts and small number of others, there’s no change to the regime.

The next election in the UK will be in the next two years.
    Who will win?

With such COP-agenda compliance it would seem that WEF underling Sunak is burying the Conservative party so deep it will keep Labour in power for a few decades. Unless Farage and team can work some miracle alternative.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says UK is “delivering” on commitment of £11.6bn in climate finance and he will triple funding on adaptation to £1.5bn by 2025 “I profoundly believe that is the right thing to do,” he tells COP27 conference in Egypt

    But, from GB News, this:

    Labour is doomed
Keir Starmer will NEVER win the next election, says Keith Bays

LABOUR is odds-on to crush the Tories when Britain next heads to the polls, but many seem to have forgotten the latter have an enormous 78-seat majority in the House of Commons. That inescapable mathematics means Labour need an enormous swing of up to nine points to provide the party with the seats needed to regain power.

    On that Penn Senate seat.

Kathy Barnette registered to be a candidate early in the race. The others came in much later. She ran a low-budget grass roots campaign going door-to-door. By May, Oz and McCormick had spent a combined $24 million on advertising, compared to Barnette’s $159,000, according to the ad-tracking firm AdImpact.

Oz supporters ran this Crazy Kathy Barnette ad using bits and pieces convenient to discredit her.

She did a long interview – I posted that when it took place – where she answered all the questions.

    Statement by Trump

Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats. She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.

He endorses Oz and expects her to stand a chance after he has discredited her? And if she gets selected then he will back her?
He didn’t have the resources to check her background that many of us could dig into and find her answers and explanations?

So did his fully vetted candidate, Mehmet Oz, win against the Radical Left Democrats?

    Funny if not fake news

It is in the NYT so it could be fact or fiction.

But after reading about his threatened tell-all on DeSantis, I agree with Power Line (my emphasis):

At this point, Trump is a giant anvil around the neck of the Republican Party. In many areas, likely most, he is absolute poison. To be associated with Trump is to lose. Pretty much everything he has done in the last two years has been not just ill-advised but massively destructive to the Republican Party and to the United States. He has teased a “big announcement” in the next few days. I hope he announces that he is moving to Bulgaria.

    And this one:

    Goodbye, Donald

A consensus is emerging among Republicans that it is time for Donald Trump to get off the stage and stop damaging his party and his country. It is reflected in tomorrow’s New York Post cover:

    ….
Liberal fundraisers actually put money behind Trump-endorsed candidates in GOP primaries all over the place to help them prevail so that Democrats could face them in the general election. It was transparently cynical and an abuse of our political process. But it worked like gangbusters.

    …..
The Democrats played Trump like a violin, and he joined in enthusiastically because his megalomania blinded him to political reality. He is a loser.

Pfizer is charging $130 for its COVID-19 vaccine – a 10,000% mark-up from the estimated $1.18 it costs them to develop a single dose of the vaccine. The firm was charging the US government around $20 per shot but rose prices in an effort to make up for poor demand for the jabs. It is forecasted to rake in over $100billion in revenue this year, and brought in $81.2billion last year. These figures well clear the $40billion per year it was earning the years prior. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla has earned $50million in compensation over the past two years, while BioNTech found Dr Ugar Sahin is now a billionaire.

    Witness to War:

Frank Snepp arrived in Vietnam in 1969 and stayed on until he was evacuated as Saigon fell in 1975.

He spent a good deal of time working with the press while there and developed the ability to plant stories in major media outlets like the New York Times, the New Yorker, the LA Times, Chicago Daily News and others that supported the Agency’s goals.

The younger reporters like the Associated Press’s Peter Arnett wouldn’t take the bait.

After he left the CIA he wrote a book, Decent Interval, that talked about his time in Vietnam. The CIA made his life hell and took a case all the way to the Supreme Court where they won a verdict that required Snepp to turn over all the money the book had made. That was $300,000.

To Snepp, that decision and the Pentagon Papers case, where the Supreme Court decided in some instances the government could impose prior restraint on the media meant the only victory the US could show for its war in Vietnam was undoing the first amendment.
